With a spot in the Top 3 and a trip back home on the line, the Top 4 knew they had to step up their game. Each had a chance to do so with one song of the theme "California Dreamin'", and another they wish they had written. Joshua, Jessica, and Phillip all had at least one performance that was arguably their best of the season. Joshua performed a completely mesmerizing rendition of "It's A Man's Man's Man's World"; Jessica took on and killed the powerhouse Dreamgirls ballad, "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going"; and Phillip certainly had "a moment" with the beautiful, and very haunting, "Volcano". Hollie also did her thing, especially in her first performance, singing the Journey hit, "Faithfully", but it was the rest of the group who truly stood out. Thus, when it came to Thursday night, Joshua and Jessica were the first two declared safe, and, with Phillip and Hollie standing center stage, it was clear Phillip would be the one sailing through, while Hollie would experience the end of her Idol journey. With that said, it wouldn't be right to go on without giving props to Hollie for a truly inspiring run to the Top 4. I couldn't be prouder of my Season 10 buddy for coming back, taking advantage of her second chance, and showing America why she deserved to be up on that stage! GO HOLLIE!!! Anyways, with Joshua, Jessica, and Phillip still left in the running, it's truly anyone's game. Guess we'll have to wait 'till next week to find out who grabs the two spots in Season 11's FINALE! Let me know who you think it's gonna be on Twitter @robbierosenlive! We're almost there people! Hold on, it's gonna be one heck of a ride all the way to the finish line!
