With a chance to sing their way into the grand finale, the Top 3 each performed three songs: one chosen by the judges, one selected themselves, and one picked by music mogul Jimmy Iovine. With so much on the line, Joshua, Jessica, and Phillip all had some incredible moments. Joshua displayed his passion once again, ripping his jacket straight off and commanding the stage with Mary J. Blige's "No More Drama"; Jessica boldly took on Mariah Carey's "My All", showing off her tender side and beautiful vocal tone; and Phillip changed things up with an incredible rendition of Bob Seger's "We’ve Got Tonight", proving that he, too, can sing a ballad. Unfortunately, after all was said and done, one amazing vocalist needed to go home Thursday night. Although he was basically flawless throughout his entire Idol journey, Joshua would find himself leaving the competition without a chance to compete in the finals. Therefore, Jessica and Phillip will battle it out this week, going head-to-head for the top spot! So guys, WHO'S IT GONNA BE?!? Let me know what you’re thinking on Twitter @robbierosenlive! Psyched to find out who's gonna take it all and become America's next IDOL!!!
