Singing songs from the year they were born, the Top 11 Idols (Jermaine was disqualified after failing to disclose his previous run-ins with the law) really brought it. Joshua absolutely killed "When A Man Loves A Woman" and Hollie belted out "The Power of Love". Elise, Colton, and Phillip also shined, each bringing something different to the Idol stage. While Jessica tried changing things up with the up-tempo song "Turn the Beat Around", it's clear the judges want her to stick to the power ballads in the future. Nonetheless, the judges, Jessica herself, and the rest of America all knew she wasn’t going anywhere. When it came to Results Night, Shannon, Erika, and Elise found themselves in the bottom three, the latter who should not have been there after her solid and soulful rendition of "Let's Stay Together". Rightfully so, Ryan sent her back to safety, making Shannon and Erika the bottom two. After it was announced that Shannon was the one in jeopardy of leaving, she sang for her life, giving it her all with "One Sweet Day". Unfortunately, the judges chose not to save her, meaning she will not be going on tour. However, it also means we now have our Top 10 who WILL be touring the country this summer!! What do you guys think of this group?! Would you have changed the way things went down? Let me know on Twitter @robbierosenlive! So looking forward to meeting up with Colton, DeAndre, and Hollie, part of my incredible Season 10 Idol family, when they come to Long Island!! Until then, let's keep watching and voting!! Can't wait to hear this group of 10 perform next week…TOUR PREVIEW!!
