Last week, the Top 6 took on one song by the legendary rock band, Queen, and one song of their choice. Each contestant absolutely killed at least one of the two. Jessica emotionally-connected with the classic, "Dance With My Father"; Joshua impressed India Arie herself, performing a beautiful rendition of her hit, "Ready For Love"; Elise fit perfectly into the rock edge of Queen's "I Want It All"; Skylar showed off her stellar vocals and high notes with "The Show Must Go On"; Hollie shined, taking on the power ballad "The Climb"; and Phillip did, well, Phillip, showing true artistry with "The Stone" by the Dave Matthews Band. On Thursday night, the bottom three was composed of Hollie, Elise, and Skylar. After Skylar's two very solid performances and Hollie's redemption performance ("The Climb" was arguably her best performance to date), it was clear that Elise, despite everything she brought to this competition, was finally departing after a terrific Idol journey.
