GENERAL HOSPITAL, you have my attention. Last week's episodes — excluding anything having to do with Ireland and the knit cap that offends Weekly editor Mala Bhattacharjee so much — felt like old-school GH as Robin hallucinated a touching reunion with Stone that I felt actually gave us Robin and Stone fans closure, and as Brenda revisited Port Charles in a most entertaining way. Her scenes with Kelly Monaco's Sam, for one, were worth the long wait for Brenda to arrive "home." I love that Brenda's presence in Jason's life is doing such a number on Sam, and that she turned to Maxie for love and fashion advice! (I'm not sure I'd take love advice from Maxie, but I'd definitely go shopping with her anytime.) Today's episode just kept the momentum going, with Brenda and Sonny shedding a tear over their broken romance instead of laughing over Post-it notes like they did a month ago in Rome. As a result, another lady's confidence was deflated by Brenda — smitten DA Claire Walsh — and that can only mean trouble for Sonny. Oh, how the plot thickens!
