Bryton James began his acting career when he was just a toddler. He landed his very first commercial audition for Disney Mattel at the tender age of 2. By the time he was 3, Bryton won his first television series role, playing Richie on FAMILY MATTERS. He appeared on the show throughout its nine-year run.

When FAMILY MATTERS wrapped, Bryton took a break from acting, finishing up school and traveling through Europe. He also began pursuing a new career as a recording artist, releasing his first single, "Ooh, The Way I Feel About You," on the German television series Stars 2000. Bryton has performed live on various international networks, as well as on the Disney Channel and other major broadcast networks in the United States.
