First, let me say a big YEAH that they are bringing on a new guy for Sharon!!!! Hot diggity dog! Let's just hope that Sean Patrick Flanery doesn't end up being some long lost Newman or an Abbott. Let the girl be with a new guy not related to one of her past husbands. 
Secondly...are the TPTB stupid? No I mean it! Are they? Look any half-wit that's watched any news or crime story/dramas knows KNOWS that calls made from the jail house by inmates are freakin' RECORDED!!!!!! Come On! So all of this threatening of Deacon about breaking her out of jail would be well known by the jail officials and the police. And exactly how stupid are the GCPD to let Deacon and Meggie alone in a room together!!!! Could they not write a story that they've, I don't know, thought out before hand! And wouldn't it be more believeable to Nikki to have the police call her in and let her listen to the recordings after they added more charges for threats and such.
I'm just saying..... 
I'm tired of these ridiculesly stupid stories that have no basis in any reality. Okay, I know it's a soap opera but let's have some vague sense of reality otherwise I could just watch the SyFy channel all day.

Hey, it gets better! Meggie wears the pink jumpsuit out of the jail. Meggie gets the cuffs slapped on her. Meggie also is told she will now be moved to a maximum security prison. What does Meggie do next?1. She calls Nikki2. she can have visitors.Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
The whole Deacon story and his involvement with the main family is extremely creepy. The character came on the show to protect "lil d" and after all of his crimes was sent off to jail. once out his forgot all about lil D. He hooked up with Meggie to gaslight Nikki and although the believability of the story was ridiculous the powers at be kept writing it out. Now Nikki knows the whole deal and "SAYS" she wants nothing to do with Deacon.BUT Deacon being written the way he is written will force himself on Nikki by harassing her. Let me tell you, after Sharon taking Adam as her TRUE LOVE and Ashley jumping in with YET another guy who is only out for himself TUCKER, and after the 2 or 3 years of Phyllis (the strongest female on this show) of taking Nick's shenigans with Sharon, if Nikki takes Deacon back and proves that the writers think a DUMB, weak female character is what the viewers want than I will be done with Y&R.From the bad writing for Victor, the lack of substance in all of Jack's stories, the absence of Ashley, the "get away with everything" Kevin stories, the dumb and unbelievable BUY A BABY/Sheila's kids stories, the drawn out NEWMAN scions suing daddy-warbucks, to the stupid Adam stories, I WILL BE DONE WITH Y&R if they don't just have Nikki look at her drink, back at Deacon, pick up her drink as if to take a sip and just have her THROWN IT IN HIS FACE and walk out only to become a STRONG, SELF SUFFICIENT WOMAN, if that doesn't happen I am TRULY done with thhis soap and ALL soaps.

Did you not hear what Deacon said to the guard on his way out today?: "Tell the Warden she fell for it.". Sounds like he actually did the right thing here - although he still has to be found out by the Nikkster.
