Okay, don't get me wrong, I don't condone Claire's thinking or her homophobia, but I did enjoy seeing Reese get slapped today..

OMG... Look at what Pratt has turned me into..

It's too bad Pratt screwed up this story so much because it could have been interesting, but with the universal hatred for the character of Reese, who really cares what happens to her. I know I don't...

The only thing I care about is Reese departure, which I hope is soon, very, very soon, but not before Kendall shows Claire how to slap Ms. NotSoCoolNotSoAmazingFakeLesbianSkank the right way.

I guess we were supposed to feel sorry for Reese, but I didn't....because MsNotSoCoolNotSoAmazingFakeLesbianSkank makes me want to hurl everytime she's on the tube..

Okay, now commence to letting me have it for approving of violence on TV....

I ususally don't, but this one time, I did enjoy it, because it happened to the most vapid character AMC has ever seen, since Ryan that is...

I didn't focus as much on the slap as the premise being presented. On one hand, Claire's mother is questioning that Reese may not indeed be a lesbian, as she had just been recently engaged to a man. Frankly, if I were the mom, though of course, I definitely would be a lot more loving and understanding, I would be questioning it too. But the only thing that Reese can feel is revulsion towards her mother questioning her sexualty.Cut to today and Reese is going to question her own sexualty to Zach. She is not sure what she is. ..proving Mama may not have been neceessarily wrong. But to her mother, she was totally INSULTED that her choices were questioned. It's writing like this that makes us all shake our heads with disbelief.Add that to the unbelievably heaving-hitting scene manipulations, and it becomes a big joke. Yeah Zach gets to run to the hospital to see Kendall and we are not allowed to see him alone with his wife, even sit by her, stroke her forehead, some loving gesture for one second. We see him race in and race out...so he can witness the slap by Reese's mother and we can have more alone with her shoved down our throats.Greenlee who has barely thought of Kendall in weeks..all of a sudden misses her and needs to be at her side, after spouting that Kendall should have been at the shower. If Kendall just had surgery and it was hopeful that she would wake up, you think if Greenlee cared she would have postponed her shower and wedding a few weeks to allow Kendall the opportunity to be there if it mattered so much.Bianca who also barely has spoken of Kendall all of a sudden needs her at this minute..so she is away from Reese and with Kendall as well. Her fiancee Reese was totally upset about her mother's visit and obviuosly needed comforting..and Bianca chooses this time to walk away from her and go see Kendall? And then she gets upset if Reese turns to Zach for support? The logic of any of this is truly mindboggling. It IS a big joke but sadly, no one is laughing.

Reese was disrespectful and vile to her mother. She enabled her anger and I had no sympathy for Reese whatsoever. I do not believe in violence against women nor do I want to see a female slap a male, but in this instance, I cheered.I have children and I would never slap them but discipline them and teach them respect, yes. Reese showed no respect. She is amoral, unscrupulous and has no boundaries. She's been a dog in heat after Zach, trying to usurp Kendall's place in her home and husband's life and all the while under the nose of clueless Bianca, knowing that Kendall lay dying in the hospital. Just having her face show up on screen is nothing short of stomach turning .Erica threw a snowball at Bianca. It was the same intent. If any two characters needed to be slapped , it's these two.I have never seen such vicious and repugnant writing on any soap in all the years I have been watching. AMC is on life support now. If AMC, a once classy and socially consciencence and beautiful soap is cancelled, what hope is there for the other struggling soaps?Pratt needs to turn in his poison pen now! His disregard for the show's history and character integrity is criminal. But then again if Pratt left, with our luck as AMC fans, we would be stuck with Stephen King as the HW.

I decided to watch the episode...something I haven't done since October.I would have Slapped Reese long before her mother did. I didn't recognize any character actions except for MARY!! She was the only one true-to-form.Now, Erica and the snowball. Erica shoul dhave slapped her too, but the snowball was more fun...but totally out of character. Will probably monitor the show now that Kendall is awakening.

The whole problem with the scene was you got the impression that Claire, Reese's mother, was making an attempt but Reese was coming off like a snotty, spoiled child. I had the same feelings back during the christening and when Reese's father visited. We were supposed to view these people as intolerant, but frankly they didn't come off that way. The priest didn't preach hellfire and damnation for Bianca and Reese, he simply said he wasn't sure if he could perform the baptism and he felt uncomfortable saying it. Reese's father came off as trying to understand and seemed like a broken man for losing his daughter, not as some bigoted jerk. If anything Reese and everyone else come off as more bullying and demanding that everyone bow to their viewpoint because they're RIGHT. AMC went a little heavy handed on their Lesbians are GOOD message.Furthermore, the episode is just another instance to me that Reese is an outright liar. She said a few months back to Zach that her parents have a love story for the ages but now she's calling her mom frigid, in a sexless marriage and she's ground her father to nothingness? Liar, liar there Reese!

Exactly...The flipflopping is only making viewers hate her more..She told Zach that her parents had a great love story, then mom shows up, and she says it was horrible..I rewatched the show last night and noticed something... Actually, I remembered something..Those words Reek said to Zach about feeling closer to him then anyone, being able to be herself, blah, blah, blah... She said the same damn thing to BB, right after BB found out she was engaged to a man..It seems to me that the writers don't care if they are consistant, they just flip on a dime..Reek sexual confusion is a joke...She's not coming off as Cool & Awesome or sympathetic.... She's just universally hated and the hate grows with each passing day..My best friend is a huge BB fan. She hates what Pratt has done to Bianca and hates that it was done to showcase Pratt's creation..There are many reasons to hate the character of Reese, but the biggest for some is:::The destruction of BB & Zach to shove Reese down our throats.Bianca's story turned into Reese storyNo one cares about Reese, but they continue to shove her down our throats..Reese is the most poorly written character in daytime. No one is rooting for her. No one is sympathetic to her. No want wants to see this character any longer, but yet she's shoved down our throats..Counting the days til her exit, but fearing how much more damage Pratt is going to do in the name of his fav/creation...
