I was watching yesterday and todays shows and I can't belive her. She is talking about Sam does Alexis remember her slepping with a married mobster got preggers, Then slept the the married mobsters brother than got preggers. Lets 's not forget Jerry JAx. Than she tells Michael to stay away. I used to like Alexis now I hate her. She kept Sonny away from his child but allowed Jerry around them. Then she is never with her children Carly's with them more. Oh and her affair with the mayor yeah Alexis is a real role model. Right
I love NLG, but Alexis is, without a doubt, THE biggest hypocrite on the show. That's the saddest part of this whole story. Alexis hasn't been the morally centered, level-headed attorney since she was with Ned. From when she began working with Sonny, she began a slow decline, but even then, she was not a hypocrite. She only became one when she slept with the very married Sonny & continued to have the gall to look down her morally superior nose at Carly. Then, she lied about her child's paternity because Sonny decided to stay with Carly instead of her. She suckered Ned into it by saying it was to protect her daughter from Sonny's lifestyle. That was proven to be the lie it was when she married Sonny's attorney. The lifestyle suddenly wasn't too dangerous for Kristina then. Then, the relationship with the prince of psychotic freaks, Jerrry Jax. The only man more messed up than him that she hasn't bedded is Anthony & who knows? Maybe she has. She has absolutely no right to judge Sam for anything in her life. There's one big difference between the two. Sam lives this way because it's the only life she has ever known & the men she's with are the only ones available to her. Alexis makes the choices she does because she wants to. She could easily get a man like Mac or some dull & safe attorney, but she chooses bad boys & psychopaths because they're what she wants. I'd say, given all of that, Sam is the better role model by a mile. At least, she doesn't pretend to be better than she is or lie to Kristina & Molly about who she is, unlike Alexis.
Regarding Alexis again; poor Sam, she looks and acts like Alexis genuinely hates her. I missed Sam and Alexis's conversation today which compelled Sam to confide in Jason. I don't know enough about their backgrounds and what relationship dynamic Alexis and Sam have with one another. I could Wiki it all day but something tells me it wouldn't be the same unless I were to have actually watched GH all this time. I felt for Sam today, I'm happy that Jason was there to comfort her.
The only time Alexis makes sense is when she is hanging with Diane. BTW, did anybody catch Diane on that new show Cougar Town? She was being her usual Diane self
Totally agree with all of the above. Who is this person and what did she do with the real Alexis? So I guess it will be Sam's fault if Kristina gets pregnant. Aging the girls was a poor move because there is nothing to explain why Alexis acts the ways she does now. We know that she would be extremely overprotective given her childhood with the Cassadines, but she is a top notch lawyer and her inability to see what a mess Kristina is making of her life is just not believable.I am so tired of Kristina's whining about how she has to be perfect and live up the Alexis' high expectations. I haven't seen any evidence of this being the case and all Kristina does is blame everyone else for the messes that she makes.Bring back the real Alexis, the one that was establishing a relationship with Sam, and don't let Kristina get pregnant.
I watched today, for the first time in 6 weeks or so, and wasn't surprised that nothing had changed. Alexis (who used to be my fav) is just a bit*h, blaming everyone else for her shortcomings. Carly being told for the umpteenth time to avoid stress, when we all know that 5 minutes into todays show she will have her nose in soemones business, and will be arguing with someone and yelling. If she cant shut-up and try to stay calm for a few months for the well-being of her baby, then I am sorry she does not deserve the baby. I dont want anything to happen to the baby, but she is just too much. Kristina still whining about living up to unseen expectations. Olivia still always messing with her mouth. I was sooo dissappointed! Well sorry about the rant, it just gets so frustrating. There was one nice moment, and that was COLEMAN. Was very pleased to have tuned in on the one day every few months they decide to show him!
Coleman's becoming popular. His bar is the new Kelly's. I hope they continue to show him & give him a story
While I don't like the direction that Alexis has taken, I hope it's leading to the return of Ned & family. I really liked them togethor and wish they would get back togethor. Ned could ride to her rescue just as her world is crumbling. And I loved her friendship with Diane too! Why aren't we seeing those two comisurating over her break-up with Max?! Why don't we see Diane backing up Sam's opinion on how Alexis is raising her daughters?! Why don't we see Alexis in something other than wrap dresses?!
So many good questions, so little answers. I really hope Diane shows up soon. I miss Diane; she could resolve things with Max, (who, by the way we haven't seen since the carnival, am I right?) and give Alexis a good verbal kick in the pants. Alexis needs her right now. I know she is off filming another show; however, I don't think the new show is taking up all of her time. Did anyone else wonder what the whole Louise storyline is about"? Her and Patrick going to Coleman's and then going home with him to eat dinner with Patrick and Robin, where Robin lay in wait for Patrick, and then Louise, (who I find just a bit to cheery) doesn't leave right away. I found that to be a bit creepy and a go nowhere storyline so far. JMO
I thought it was creepy that she hung around as well. I mean if I were her and I walked in and saw Robin dressed like that, I would have madea beeline for teh nearest exit!Seriously, she doesn't even really know them all that well, and Robin not at all. Starnge, but I suppose it all leads up to something right?
I hope it doesn't lead to anything. Hopefully, it was just a filler. The only time I don't mind seeing her is when Diane is there telling her how awful her shoes are

Loved the line about Olivia still messing with her mouth.....lmao.Hey but lay off my girl Carly , girlfriend
Any body else wonder what Colman did with the shotgun? One minute he had it in his left hand and the next he's helping Carly to the car.
Perhaps I was a little hard on ole Carly, just because thinking about it I am also someone who just cannot stay out of sh*t either, but jeez, girl really needs to listen to her doctor. I do forget just how far along she is though, is she close to delivery?
I would think she is close to delivery but the other day when she went into labor she kept saying "it's too early for the baby to be born" so I really don't know. I figure maybe she's about 7 months?
Quote:Any body else wonder what Colman did with the shotgun? One minute he had it in his left hand and the next he's helping Carly to the car. Ummm, I'm assuming he dropped the bad boy to the ground once he saw Carly in labor.
He most likely doesn't have a license to carry it either. I enjoyed the Coleman/Carly/Johnny scenes. I would rather see fun filler like that then Loiuse/Patrick/Robin. And who would have thought those three characters would have a scene together? The comment someone posted about Diane calling Louise out on her shoes made me laugh out loud. I think Alexis might take Diane up on her offer; JMO
So Coleman just left the shotgun on the ground in Jake's parking lot? Or did he take the time to take it back inside?I can see Alexis taking Diane up on her offer as well. As much as she protests against it, Alexis as a character was at her best when she was working for Sonny. I think she even used to live in Jason's penthouse once upon a time when Sonny lived across the hall. Which brings me to my next question, one that's been bugging me for a while. Who's living in Sonny's old apartment? I think I remember it blowing up at one point, and I assume it got rebuilt.
Unrelated gripe about Alexis. Every single time Kristina is on is a blatant reminder of what a lousy parent she is compared to Sonny & Carly & they suck. First of all, Sonny & Carly have taught their kids not to mouth off at adults & they've always taught their children to respect their parents. Now, as everyone who's read my comments re: Sonny knows, I am not his biggest fan. On a good day, I almost enjoy him (& that is all Maurice, not so much the character). But, the way Kristina mouthed off at Sonny while Alexis just stood there proved my point. 1st & most important of all, he is her father. I don't even want to tell you what would've happened to me if I'd spoken to either of my parents that way. 2nd of all, she's a child & he's an adult so even if he was a stranger, I would think she must've been raised in a cave by someone speaking in grunts. I've thought she was a horrible brat right along. I'm still irritated that Michael's guts were twisted for months thinking he's the one that ran Claudia off the road & killed his brother, while she happily let him, knowing she was responsible. All she cared about was whether or not Keifer was cheating on her with a senior. Even after she owned up to it (after the adults figured out the truth) she was more worried about her punishment than the fact that she killed her baby brother. But, why do I keep expecting better. Alexis has always been a character who believed the rules of society & morality applied to everyone else but her. She sleeps with a married man but the man's faithful spouse is the [censored]. She sneaks into a man's apartment late at night when he's already retired for the night to "confront" him & "accidently" kills him in self defense . Then, she spends months pretending to be crazy to establish a defense & sits by while innocent person after innocent person is brought to trial for the man's death. Let's not forget her lying about Kristina's paternity until the baby is literally knocking on the pearly gates & hounds a pregnant woman literally to the death of that baby & felt absolutely no remorse. She treats Sonny like something she stepped in most of the time. Unless she wants or needs something from him. Then, she plays on the guilt he feels over not being in Kristina's life, even though she's the reason he isn't. With that history, how could I expect that kid to be anything but a snotty, spoiled brat. Oh how I worry about Molly's future.
Say that girlfriend! Totally agree with every single word. As for Molly, IMO the girl has waaayyy to much sense to be lead a stray by the dumbness of mommie dearest and sister Kristina.
I think ALexis handled Sonny poorly. She also has been handling Kristina poorly since they aged her. Seriously with a mom who is so controlling don't you think she would notice that her daughter is"off"? Imean all of sudden falling and bruises showing up, seriously? I like Alexis when she is with Mac, there is something fun about them. However, I wonder if Alexis is going to eat some humble pie if and when she finds out that Keifer is an idiot.

Alexis is no poster girl; although I am a fan of NLG, I certainly don't like the way her character is being written right now. I have not watched GH long enough to know a whole lot about her character; I would like it though, if she could go back to being the way she was before this whole mayor storyline began, which, in my opinion was a go nowhere story to begin with, although I did enjoy the carnival.
