ALL MY CHILDREN
Monday
Adam was flummoxed when Colby bolted out of the Chandler manse, claiming she
had to attend to a school project.
Annie woke up to find that Aidan had spirited her away to the Pine Cone. She
donned the red wig he gave her and he snapped pics for a new ID as he
explained that he had stolen an ambulance to stop Ryan from keeping them
apart by transferring her to a far-away institution. He explained that after
they left the country, they would live on the remains of Emma's ransom
money. Annie gasped that she couldn't abandon Emma. She wanted to bring
Emma; he said they could all go to an English-speaking country, where they'd
put Emma in school and find Annie a shrink. Annie decided against taking
Emma to spare the girl a life on the run and also expressed sympathy for how
Ryan would feel if they snatched Emma. Annie credited Aidan with saving her
life and asked to see Emma one last time.
Kendall woke up at the hospital; Ryan assured her that Ian was fine. Ian
woke up and Kendall complimented Ryan's ease with the baby.
Zach and the mystery woman (Liza) had torrid sex on the card table. Jake
left a message requesting to speak to her as soon as possible. Amanda caught
the tail end of Jake's message and noted that his tone seemed familiar, not
businesslike. Jake acknowledged that he had history with the lawyer. They
discussed her determination to give the baby up for adoption.... Post-sex,
Liza and Zach parted without exchanging names (though she did disclose that
she had come to town to see someone, but that someone had blown her off).
"Lovely not knowing you," they said to each other. Zach went back to the
hospital and made eye contact with Kendall as Ryan played with Ian. Zach
turned and walked away; Kendall followed him, telling Ryan she was going to
get coffee. Zach was resistant to speaking with her. Kendall was worried
that he'd been fighting again when she spotted red on his neck. "I think
that's lipstick from the woman I just had sex with," he replied bluntly. He
said that his sex partner had thought he was thinking about her (Kendall)
while they were doing the deed. She accused him of taunting her; he said he
was a single man and didn't owe her answers. She returned to Ian's room
without coffee; she claimed that the machine was broken.
B
An upset Colby came to the Martin house looking for Pete, who was out. Jake
and Amanda convinced her to stay. Liza returned Jake's call. She assured
Jake that the perfect family was waiting for Amanda's baby. She told Jake
that she's in town but asked him not to tell anyone. He agreed to meet her
at the casino. Liza asked Francesca to bring her some champagne. Jake
arrived and he and Liza hugged warmly. She explained that she was there to
connect with Colby and flashed back to having a nasty conversation on the
phone with her daughter (who was responsible for all the nastiness). Colby,
who was having the same flashback, opened up to Amanda about how hard it was
for her to deal with her mom. She recalled more details of the phone call,
in which she blasted Liza for having abandoned her. Liza claimed to have
missed Colby "every single minute of every single day" and explained that
she'd been trying to give Colby space. "Too late to take it back now," Colby
said before slamming down the phone. Picked up Liza, "She refused to see
me." Jake advised Liza to give Colby time and told her that Colby was a
great kid. Liza was not optimistic about Colby coming around. Liza urged
Jake not to give up his baby, certain that he would regret it. He revealed
that it's not his baby, after all, and that David was the biodaddy. Liza had
a flash of inspiration about who should get the baby but wouldn't share the
details, making Jake nervous.... Zach returned to the casino and Francesca
reported that nobody knew who the mystery woman was.
Colby returned home and stayed mum about Liza but asked her dad for a hug.
He complied.... Jake came back home and Amanda filled him in about her
conversation with Colby. Jake defended Liza. Liza, meanwhile, spied on Colby
and Adam's warm family moment.
Tuesday
Krystal came to the mansion to confront Adam. David crept in to the mansion
and interrupted their conversation, demanding to know what secret Adam was
hanging over Krystal's head. Krystal left, upset, and David warned Adam that
he would get to the bottom of things.
Scott met with Dr. Chappell, who was reluctant to use Chandler Enterprises
to fund the valve. He changed his tune when he realized that Erica (a
"walking dream," in his estimation) would be involved in the project. JR
joined and when he expressed reservations about the project, Erica whisked
the doc away to meet Adam. JR was upset with Scott for going behind his
back. Scott accused JR of resenting the fact that Scott, not JR, may be the
one to save the company.... Erica brought Dr. Chappell to the Chandler
manse, where he came down on David for trying to look at his schematics.
David left and the meeting was a success. When JR returned home with Scott,
Adam became woozy and disoriented during their blow-up and practically
collapsed. When La Kane expressed worry, Adam claimed to be fine. He then
snarked to JR that JR should be more like Scott. Once alone with Erica, she
called him out on having had a seizure during Scott and JR's argument and
insisted that he take his meds. He reluctantly complied.... At the yacht
club, a grinning David fingered Adam's real pills.
Using the address Adam had given her, Krystal arrived at a sleazy massage
parlor and asked to see someone named Marissa. Krystal went to the bathroom
and found Marissa giving a massage. Upset, Marissa bolted out of the room.
When she returned, Krystal explained that she was there because she'd heard
about her parents' demise in a car accident. Krystal said that Marissa's
parents, her good friends, were amazing people. Marissa said that she was
working there to fund her law school education. Krystal broke the news that
Babe had died. "I wish I could have met her," Marissa said. Krystal defended
Marissa to the sleazy manager, who promptly fired Marissa. Marissa was
furious with Krystal and tried to storm out, but was stopped by a police
raid of the establishment.
Posing as Corinna, Annie called Emma's school to call her in sick. Annie
intercepted her daughter in the hallway after Ryan dispatched her to run
down to the school bus. Ryan learned from Jesse that Annie had escaped and
tore after Emma, who was heading to the park with Annie. At the park, Aidan
observed Annie and Emma's hang-out, which was made awkward by the fact that
her tastes had changed in Annie's absence.... Ryan panicked to Jesse about
Annie's escape and threatened to take matters into his own hands. Aidan came
to see Ryan and denied any knowledge of Annie's whereabouts. Ryan was
relieved when Emma came home with the book that Annie had created for her.
"She wanted to say good-bye," Emma explained to Ryan. During Ryan and Emma's
reunion, Aidan fled unseen. Aidan and Annie reunited back at the Pine Cone,
where Annie had donned her red wig. Just then, Ryan burst in with a gun.
"You guys are both going to prison," he declared.
In Florida, Brot practiced his speech for Wounded Soldiers. Taylor called to
wish him luck; secretly, she had flown to Orlando to watch him talk. Brot
took the stage and delivered a poignant, personal speech to the crowd. Brot
was stunned when Taylor went to his hotel room to congratulate him. Brot
reminded Taylor that he had asked her not to come and she defended herself.
Brot changed his tune and decided that they should celebrate. Later, Brot
met up with some vets and spoke more about his injuries. Taylor strolled up
and beamed with pride. The two then frolicked around together, enjoying
themselves greatly.
Wednesday
Zach and Kendall met up with David at the hospital. David said that Ian
could go home today. Kendall instinctively put her hand on Zach, then pulled
it away. They assured David that their son would be well taken care of even
though they were going through a divorce. David overheard Angie saying that
she had to make a house call. His mole told him that she was going to the
Chandler manse.... Angie examined a surly Adam. David charged in looking for
Little Adam. When the boy ran in, Angie and David were both delighted to see
him. Angie headed back to the hospital. David took Erica aside and feigned
concern about Adam's health, which she didn't buy. After he left, Adam
insisted that his episode was caused by a problem with his prescription.
Erica implored Adam to accept her help, and when he refused, she turned on
her heel and left. Back at the hospital, Angie told David that according to
the lab results, nothing was wrong with Adam's pills. Angie asked David if
Krystal was okay. David admitted that he didn't know where she had gone but
asked Angie to tell Krystal that he loves her.
Zach and Kendall took Ian home. He evaded her questions about the woman he
had bedded. After Zach left for work, Kendall listened to a message from
Francesca, who said she had more information about the matter they had
discussed. Francesca dropped by and Kendall got nowhere trying to probe her
about Zach's personal life, so Kendall barged into Reese's room at the
casino. Kendall accused Reese of having slept with Reese, which Reese
denied. After denouncing Kendall as a hypocrite, she tossed her out.... Zach
got home and watched security footage of Liza. He then went to see Reese and
showed her a picture of Gabrielle that Bianca had sent him (Binks had told
Zach to share it with Reese).
Ryan brandished a gun on Aidan and Annie. He didn't believe their claim that
they were leaving the country for good. They begged Ryan to let them start a
new life. He declared that he was all out of trust. When Ryan's phone rang,
Aidan overtook Ryan and Annie fled as the men struggled over the gun, which
Ryan recovered. Ryan tied Aidan up. When Jesse arrived, Aidan gave him false
info about where Annie was headed. Jesse arrested him. Jesse later got
confirmation that Aidan had lied to him about Annie's whereabouts. In his
jail cell, Aidan sat in silence. Annie, meanwhile, waited for her plane to
London.
Ryan returned home, where Kendall was waiting for him. After they kissed,
she revealed to Ryan that Zach had "slept with some nameless slut." She
asked Ryan to make love to her; he refused to do so as a result of something
that Zach had done. He pointed out that it was a messed-up reason to sleep
together. She stormed out.
Krystal and Marissa were thrown in jail together following the raid at the
massage parlor. Marissa impressed Krystal with her fire as she protested
their situation to the cops. Krystal caught Marissa up on her tangled
personal life but she was evasive about what she had done to betray him. She
told Marissa that she had wanted to make sure that she was doing okay and
offered to fund Marissa's law school tuition. Krystal was told that she was
free to go. She proceeded to post bail for Marissa and the other massage
parlor workers. She gave Marissa a check to get her by for now, promising
that the rest of her tuition would follow. Marissa was grateful.
Thursday
Ryan paced the floors of the police station as Jesse tried to get Aidan to
break and reveal Annie's whereabouts. Jack arrived to defend Aidan,
explaining to Ryan that he believes that Greenlee would have wanted him to.
Jack and Aidan sat down together and Jack was thrown when Aidan revealed that
he had planned to go on the run with Annie. Aidan refused to work with the
police. Jack told Ryan that Aidan wasn't going to cooperate. Jesse informed
Ryan and Jack that Annie was en route to the Maldives but couldn't be
extradited because the U.S. doesn't have a treaty with the nation. Jack told
the men that Aidan was about to make bail.
During the meeting with Dr. Chappell, JR commanded the doc to rush the
project through testing. The doc was reluctant, but JR gave him the hard
sell and the doc testily agreed to hand over his research for a price (as
all he wanted was to get out of bed with the Chandlers). Scott arrived and
blasted JR for screwing the doctor over.
Angie met with Tad at the yacht club to express her concern about Krystal,
which Tad shared. Krystal arrived and Angie informed her that David had told her
to tell her that he loves her. Tad accompanied Krystal to Wildwind to pack
up her bags. When he ran into David there, Tad claimed to David that Krystal
had seen the light about him (David). David insisted that he doesn't give a
damn about the secret Adam is lording over Krystal. Back at the Martin
house, Tad reluctantly reported to Krystal that David said he didn't care
about her secret. He begged Krystal not to go back to David. Krystal
defended David to Tad. Tad railed at Angie for going easy on David and
vented to Angie about Krystal going back to the doc. When Krystal returned
to Wildwind, David took her in his arms. Their make-out session was
interrupted by a knock on the door. Krystal went to the door and was stunned
to find Marissa standing there. "Surprise!" chirped Marissa.
At the hospital, Scott tried to convince Jake to work on the valve project.
David arrived and took a pot shot at Jake's surgical skills, then at the
fact that he, not Jake, fathered Amanda's baby. Amanda arrived and when
David upset her, Jake tried to calm her down. Alone with Jake, Amanda
pointed out that David has a point, that they are not a couple. She
encouraged Jake to ditch her and go back to his own life. Jake countered
that he likes being with her. They went to the yacht club for lunch and
shared a kiss.
Randi helped Natalia practice her police skills. Randi also updated Nat on
how Frank is doing overseas. Randi went to the yacht club for a virtual
Webcam date with Frank but the connection failed mid-anniversary toast (it
had been a month). Scott sat down and told Randi that whoever stood her up
was an idiot. Randi put him in his place by saying that her date was in
Iraq. Scott helped her finish her cake. As he fed her a bite, the connection
returned. Frank's eyebrows raised to see Randi with another man.
Friday
Frank's eyes bulged when the Webcam connection was restored and he saw Scott
feeding chocolate cake to Randi. Initially jealous, he realized that Scott
was his old pal; their dorky antics via the Webcam amused Randi. Scott
excused himself and Frank apologized for having reacted badly to seeing her
with another guy. Frank had to leave when his superiors beckoned. Randi told
a returning Scott that she would see him around.
JR took Little Adam to Babe's grave. Little A went off to play; JR spoke to
Babe's grave, assuring her that he had secured custody of their boy, and
expressing how much he missed her. Later, JR and Little A went to the yacht
club and JR mocked Scott for hitting on a married woman (Randi). JR told him
never to bring up Babe's name.
David caught Krystal outside of Wildwind with Marissa. Krystal tried to
maintain her cool as she introduced the duo. David invited her in. Marissa
explained that she knew Krystal through her late parents, who had been
friends with Krystal. She revealed that Krystal was covering her law school
tuition. Marissa broke down crying about her parents. David invited Marissa
to crash with them; she declined. After Marissa left, promising to give
Krystal a call soon, David speculated that Krystal looked up Marissa because
she wanted someone to mother. Krystal thanked David for being so incredible.
When he was summoned back to the hospital, Krystal had a dream about giving
birth to Babe and the doc informing her that she was having twins.
At the Slater house, Kendall heard Zach talking to Bianca on the phone. She
thought he might be speaking to his lover and pressed him for info; he asked
her to respect her privacy. He went to say good-bye to the boys, at which
point she tried to break into his computer. She then pretended to be on the
phone with Ryan to make Zach jealous. Later, he went to the casino and
encountered Reese, who said that she wanted to return to Paris. He told her
not to.
Erica was dismayed to hear that Annie had escaped again. Ryan told her that
Kendall still has feelings for Zach. Kendall went to Fusion and told Ryan
that she was choosing him. He said that he no longer worked at Fusion; he
had his hands full with Cambias and Emma. After he left, Kendall expressed
her frustration to Erica, who told her to pull herself together. Kendall
told Erica that Zach had slept with another woman. Erica told Kendall that
the conversation was finished and took a business call. Reese showed up to
ask for Erica's help with Bianca. Erica said that she was through getting
involved in her kids' lives but ended up revealing to Reese that she thinks
Bianca still loves her. In her opinion, Reese and Bianca should both be in
Paris (not Pine Valley).
Marissa found Little A down by the beach and brought him back to the yacht
club, where a frantic JR had just realized that the boy was missing. Marissa
scolded JR for failing to keep an eye on his son. JR was clearly intrigued
by the beauty. After he left, Scott spoke to Marissa about JR and she got
emotional thinking about her own family.
Zach returned home; Kendall was already there. She overheard Zach making
plans to go to the airport to pick someone up and she secretly followed him.
Kendall watched, stunned, as Zach reunited with Bianca, Miranda and
Gabrielle.
Ryan got home to Emma, who was being babysat by Opal. Opal reported that she
was getting a vibe about Annie. Opal saw a vision of Annie on the patio,
wiping a blood-stained hand down the window. She screamed at the top of her
lungs.
