Monday
At the Chandler manse, Adam and JR had words over Little Adam, with Adam
blasting JR for his drinking. JR then told Colby that Amanda was pregnant
with his baby. Colby tried to bolster JR's spirits and expressed her faith
in his ability to get his life back on track.
At the hospital, Brot helped Emma cope with the burn on her hand. Greenlee
and Taylor were impressed. Frank also praised Brot and suggested that he get
a job at the hospital. Minutes later, Brot got the gig, as an orderly. Brot
invited Taylor to go out to celebrate with him; she was thrilled.
At Oak Haven, Ryan complained to the administrator about Dr. Sinclair's
aggressive methods. "Her behavior is very unethical," Ryan insisted,
threatening a lawsuit. An emergency with Annie pulled their focus. In her
room, Annie recalled killing Richie and told Aidan ("Mr. Stone") through the
vents what she had recalled. Sinclair pressed Annie to tell her what she was
experiencing but she didn't share any details with the doc, much to Aidan's
relief. Sinclair then told Ryan that she believes that Annie is faking her
psychosis, which Ryan didn't buy. Sinclair made it clear that she intended
to see Annie stand trial for her crimes.... Through the vents, Annie told
Aidan what she remembered. He tried to soothe her, noting that Richie was a
bad man. Aidan had to admit that Erica, whom Annie had stabbed, had done
nothing to provoke her. "I'm a monster," sighed Annie. Aidan tried to
reassure her. When Sinclair came in, Aidan slapped on his crazy act, and
maintained his composure externally when Sinclair informed him that she was
now his doctor. Sinclair told "Mr. Stone" that his textbook paranoia was "a
little too on the nose" and that something would have to be done about that.
At ConFusion, Jake offered his advice to Amanda, who had wanted to leave
when David and Krystal arrived. (He advised her not to give David cause to
be suspicious.) Krystal wasn't amused by David's goading of Amanda when he
sent a "surprise" over to her (a bottle of champagne). David sauntered over
to Amanda and Jake and dug at Jake over his job loss. Krystal came over to
pull David back to their table. Amanda bolted.... Taylor showed up to meet
Brot and enjoyed a brief catch-up with Jake, who ushered her away from where
David was sitting. Jake admitted to Taylor that he had intervened when Brot
was mad at her for trying to get him a job.... Krystal asked David why he
enjoyed picking fights. David insisted that he was in the right and that he
was just defending himself. When Tad arrived, Krystal suggested that they
leave. David handed Krystal her divorce papers and suggested that she bring
them over to Tad to sign. Tad and Krystal's eyes met across the room. David
pressed Krystal but she resisted, telling him that she wanted to leave —
without him.... Jake told Taylor that he had no regrets, except for not
knowing what could have been between them. Before he left, she told him how
glad she was that they were still friends.... On Krystal's way out, Tad
intercepted her and saw the divorce papers. He asked her if she wanted him
to sign them. She said she didn't know. He left, telling her to let him know
when she'd decided.... Jake ran into Brot on his way out and congratulated
Brot on his new job. Brot thanked Jake for helping him with Taylor. Taylor
and Brot shared a warm greeting; her eyes locked with Jake, who beat a hasty
retreat.
When Ryan returned home, Greenlee and Emma filled him in about the accident
that had burned her hand. Greens was extremely apologetic; Ryan was shocked
that Greenlee had actually baked something. Ryan told Greenlee that it
seemed like Sinclair was trying to hang Annie, not help her.
A distraught Amanda received a visit from JR on the yacht. She tried to
throw him out but relented when he insisted that he was just there to give
her support. They enjoyed spending time together.
Tuesday
Ryan and Greenlee had Sinclair over to the penthouse to make nice with her.
Sinclair seemed to buy Ryan's apology. Ryan probed to find out what made
Sinclair think that Annie was faking. After Sinclair left, Tad emerged from
hiding and told Ryan and Greens that he agreed with them about Sinclair
obviously being out to get Annie. Tad offered to help them prove it.
Greenlee left for work; Ryan and Tad began researching Sinclair's history.
They discovered some missing years in her professional record.
JR went to Babe's grave and admitted to having begun drinking again and to
having screwed up with Little Adam. He also confessed that Amanda was
pregnant with his baby. He asked Babe for help in making him the strong JR
he had loved.
Brot met his new boss, David, who was kind but warned him that he wouldn't
receive special treatment, which Brot appreciated.
At Fusion, Amanda fought morning sickness while Reese and Bianca were
excited by the arrival of their wedding gowns. Erica vehemently protested
the idea of them trying on their dresses (it being bad luck for brides to
see one another). When Greens arrived, a snarkfest broke out between her and
Erica. Erica gave Greenlee a list of menial duties to perform while she took
the other brides-to-be home to try on their gowns. Amanda became ill. Frank
came to see Randi and vented about David.
David dressed down Frank for discussing Kendall's case with Zach. David told
Zach that it was too soon to make any guarantees about Kendall recovering,
but Zach noted that her color was returning.
Annie was desperate to find out what had happened to her friend, Mr. Stone
(Aidan). When Sinclair returned from Ryan's and began questioning her, she
recalled Aidan's words (about not telling Sinclair anything) and tried to
evade the doc's questions. She demanded to know what Sinclair had done with
her friend. Sinclair accused Annie of deliberately holding back in their
sessions and implored her to 'fess up, but Annie claimed to be being
attacked by flying monkeys, so Sinclair said she would try again later. Once
alone, Annie asked an absent Aidan for his help and wondered what they had
done with him.
Posing as a journalist, Tad called Sinclair to arrange an interview. She
agreed to meet him at ConFusion. Tad asked leading questions to try to get
info on Sinclair's missing years. Sinclair copped to having a strong bond
with her patients and to empathizing even with killers.
At the hospital, David tried to get Amanda to tell him what she was doing at
the hospital. She stonewalled him, so David tricked Brot into giving him
info.... Amanda went to the penthouse and told Ryan and Greenlee that she
was pregnant and wanted them to raise her baby. JR, meanwhile, went to the
hospital and was accosted by David, who had tricked him into coming. "I know
Amanda's pregnant with your baby," David told him.
Zach returned home as Opal and Erica finished constructing a blockade so
that Reese and Binks could try on their gowns without seeing each other.
When the gals dropped their robes, Erica and Opal were clearly dismayed.
Reese and Bianca weren't thrilled about their dresses, despite encouragement
from Opal and Erica. But Miranda accidentally ripped the curtain separating
the brides, so they agreed to find new dresses. Zach accidentally saw Reese
naked when she went upstairs to change.
Wednesday
Ryan and Greenlee reeled from Amanda's announcement that she wanted them to
raise her baby. Greens didn't buy it when Amanda insisted that she and JR
had no future together. Amanda's feelings for JR were apparent as she sadly
said she would never be more to JR than a warm body to ease his loneliness.
After Amanda left, Ryan and Greenlee considered Amanda's offer. Greens was
concerned that Amanda might change her mind. Ultimately, Greens opined, the
timing wasn't right because they should be focusing on Emma.
At the hospital, David jabbed at JR for getting Amanda pregnant. He
retaliated by noting that David did nothing for Babe outside of the
one-night stand that left Krystal pregnant. David told JR that he'd be a
fool to assume that he's the father given Amanda's penchant for sleeping
around. Krystal arrived and read David the riot act, demanding to know if
he's just using her. David insisted that he loves her. She softened and
thanked him. They kissed passionately.
Jesse and Jack spoke to Angie before her arraignment. Angie's fury with
Jesse was obvious. He tried to explain that she had left him no choice but
to arrest her. Court was called to order. After the brief arraignment, the
Hubbards' argument continued. Jesse urged Angie not to let David come
between them. New police trainee Natalia offered her support to Angie.
At ConFusion, Tad asked Sinclair how she could treat a patient if she had
feelings for them. She observed his wedding ring and he revealed that his
marriage was over. She turned the tables on him, asking him if he felt like
a failure. Back on the interview track, Sinclair insisted that she can
always tell when a patient is faking. Tad asked her why it meant so much to
her. Jesse entered but Tad maintained his cover. Still, Sinclair beat a
hasty retreat. Tad asked Jesse to help him get the goods on Sinclair, but
Jesse doubted his ability to do so. Jesse advised Tad to focus on fixing his
marriage. When David and Krystal entered, she decided it was time to talk
him about the divorce. David, meanwhile, took off after Amanda and goaded
her about his having spilled their sexual beans to JR. David made it clear
that he wasn't convinced that he wasn't the father. He said he would
ultimately get a DNA test.... Angie met up with Jesse and apologized to him
for breaking the law. Still, she maintained that David was a cancer....
Krystal gave Tad the divorce papers, which he signed.
Sinclair went to the penthouse to confront Ryan and Greenlee about hiring a
private investigator to look into her past. Ryan copped to it. After issuing
a subtle threat, Sinclair left. Ryan assured Greenlee that everything would
be fine. Later, Greens had a nightmare in which Annie was released and
promptly killed Ryan.
JR confronted Amanda on the yacht about whether he fathered her baby. She
confirmed that she had slept with David but insisted that JR was the pop. He
had a bad reaction when Amanda said she wanted to give the child to Ryan and
Greenlee.
At Oak Haven, a semi-conscious Aidan told Annie to help him by continuing to
talk to him through the air conditioning vents. Annie told Aidan about how
she had stonewalled Sinclair earlier. He praised her and promise that he
would take care of things. He told Annie that while he'd been hurt by the
attendants, he'd been hurt worse. Annie blamed herself for the pain he was
in. When Sinclair returned, she was distressed to hear that "Mr. Stone"
hadn't broken. Sinclair then told a sleeping Annie that no one could save
her.
Thursday
At the penthouse, Ryan tried to convince Greenlee that she would have a good
time at the bridal shower. Greens was unenthusiastic, noting that it was
weird to have the shower without BFF Kendall.
Bianca and Reese enjoyed a romantic morning in bed but were interrupted by
Erica's arrival; La Kane was eager to get the bridal shower underway. Zach
returned home with coffee for all. Zach wanted to now what Erica was up to
but she insisted all that she wanted was to reconcile with Reese. The
brides-to-be came downstairs and marveled at the decoration. Reese thanked
La Kane for her kindness. Zach left as Amanda and Randi arrived. Binks was
nervous when La Kane noted that some surprises were in store. Colby, Opal,
and Greenlee joined and the festivities ground to a halt when, at Erica's
invitation, Reese's mother, Claire, showed up. Reese greeted her mother
archly. Bianca blasted La Kane for extending the invite to Reese, and
Greenlee followed suit. Erica denied having any unpleasant motives for
inviting Claire. Claire made it clear that she had no interest in meeting
her granddaughter, but the sight of a pretty dress that Erica purchased for
Gabrielle evoked a reaction from pregnant Amanda. The next unwanted guest?
Mary, Greens's mom. After a squabble with Claire, Reese ran out of the room.
Greenlee shared a tense good-bye with Mary as everyone cleared out. Bianca
and Erica made themselves scarce so that Claire and a returning Reese could
talk. On the porch, Erica doused Bianca with snow when Binks came down on
her for inviting the mothers. Erica voiced her continuing concern about
Reese's involvement with Zach. Bianca said there was something she needed to
do and bolted. Inside the house, Reese and Claire's fight got more and more
heated. Zach returned in time to see Claire striking Reese across the face.
Back in her suite, Erica gazed at Josh's photo with a heavy heart. He
briefly appeared to her in a vision.
At Wildwind, Krystal told David that she and Tad had both signed the divorce
papers. When she said she felt good about it, he accused her of lying. She
assured him that she didn't regret their hook-up.
At Oak Haven, Sinclair observed a catatonic Annie. Tad came in and tried to
continue the "interview", but Sinclair revealed to him that she knows his
true identity and what he's really after. Sinclair made it clear that she
was going to prove that Annie is a faking, that she's a cold-blooded
murderess who needs to pay for her crime. Tad sniffed an ulterior motive.
Sinclair turned the tables, jabbing at Tad about Krystal's involvement with
David. Sinclair went into Annie's room and announced that they would be
doing some visualization exercises. She pressed, hard, for Annie to cop to
killing Richie. Annie fought against making a confession, remembering
Aidan's instructions to stay mum. Sinclair kept pushing, trying to get Annie
to talk by wielding a tire iron. Annie ended up grabbing it and appeared
poised to strike Sinclair. She dropped the wrench, but burly attendants came
in and sedated Annie. When a doped-up Annie came to, Sinclair said that she
was there to help her and that Annie needed to focus. She showed Annie pics
of Richie's corpse. Annie tried to look away but Sinclair wouldn't let her.
Just as Annie was about to confess, someone (Mr. Stone?) pulled the fire
alarm.
Tad went to the penthouse and told Ryan that Sinclair definitely had
ulterior motives where Annie was concerned. He resolved to figure out what
Sinclair was hiding. When he returned home, Krystal was there, visiting
Jenny. Tad told her to pack up her stuff and told her that he was done with
warning her against David.
Greenlee returned home and filled Ryan in about the shower. Ryan offered her
a massage and updated her on his meeting with Tad. They agreed that they
both felt uneasy about the situation. She divulged that she'd had another
bad dream about Annie. She said she had something to do and ran out.
At the hospital, David warned Zach that Kendall might not wake up, but Zach
was sure that Kendall was fighting to find her way home. Brot told David
that he'd been where Kendall was.
When David returned home, Krystal confronted him about the pills. She
demanded that he admit that he had switched the meds at the police station,
that what he'd been feeding her was illegal and worse. She screamed that she
hated him and begged him to throw her out. Instead, he kissed and caressed
her and she stopped fighting.
Bianca and Greenlee both showed up at Kendall's bedside. As they talked
about how much they missed her, Kendall's eyes opened, much to the ladies'
joy.
Friday
At Wildwind, David and Krystal tore off each other's clothes. Post-sex,
Krystal lamented her inability to say no to David. They started making out
again until a call from the hospital intervened.
When Kathy saw Tad with suitcases, he feared he was going away again. Tad
gently broke the news that Krystal was moving out. After their difficult
talk, Krystal arrived; Kathy threw her arms around her but Tad asked her to
go upstairs for a while. Tad lambasted Krystal for the selfish choices she
had made and the hurt it had inflicted on him and Kathy. Tad refused to let
Krystal see the girls. Kathy secretly listened in on the fight that ensued.
Krystal stormed out and, once back at Wildwind, gazed woefully at a picture
of her and Tad in happier times. Back home, Tad did the same. He freaked out when he discovered the door open and Kathy missing.
At Oak Haven, Sinclair showed Annie a picture of Richie's dead body and
pressed her to admit that she was guilty of his murder. Aidan pulled the
fire alarm to stop her from confessing. Sinclair reluctantly left to
investigate and Aidan, through the air conditioning vents, implored Annie to
keep her trap shut on the subject of Richie's death. Sinclair entered his
room and asked who she was talking to. He claimed to hear alien voices in
his head. Sinclair wanted to know how he'd gotten out of his room in order
to pull the fire alarm. He claimed he'd picked the lock but she found the
key in his pocket. His punishment? A dose of truth serum. Sinclair demanded
to know his real name. Aidan told himself not to break. "Close the grate,"
he ordered Sinclair. She complied, which upset Annie on the other side.
Aidan then declared his true identity to Sinclair. Aidan claimed to be there
to make sure that "that bitch" (Annie) stayed locked up.
Ryan visited Erica in her suite to call her out about inviting Mary to
Greenlee's shower. Erica insisted that her heart had been in the right
place. Their chat was interrupted by Bianca's call about Kendall waking up.
Ryan and Erica hurried to the hospital.
At the Slater house, Zach saw Claire smack Reese across the face. He
intervened, telling Claire to get out. She did so. Reese cried on Zach's
shoulder. He noted that her mom just didn't know her or understand her love
for Bianca. Reese smiled through her tears that she had loved Bianca from
the moment she saw her. She thanked him for being such a good friend, then
asked her about his feelings for him. When the phone rang (it was Binks),
Reese chuckled, "Saved by the bell."
Greenlee and Bianca were amazed when Kendall's eyes fluttered open. Greens
ran to get help while Binks explained to Kendall why she was in the
hospital. Frank was the first doctor on the scene. Greenlee and Bianca
celebrated and Binks left to call Zach. Greens sneaked back into Kendall's
room and told her that she had been in the coma for three months and that
she was now engaged to Ryan. Kendall was stunned, which was exacerbated when
David entered (he had returned to Pine Valley post-tornado, after all). When
David mentioned that she'd had a heart transplant, Kendall shed some tears.
Zach arrived, having raced to the hospital, so David made himself scarce.
Zach threw his arms around Kendall. They shared a warm, intimate reunion.
Erica and Ryan arrived. Erica noted to Bianca that she (Binks) had to tell
Kendall about Zach being Gabrielle's dad.
Greenlee observed to Ryan that something was off with Kendall.
Kendall asked to see the boys, so Zach promised to call Rachel and have them
come over. Kendall told Zach that she wanted to give him the little girl
he'd always wanted. Zach changed the subject, telling Kendall that she
needed to rest. Erica burst in and threw her arms around her daughter.
Kendall asked where her new heart came from. "The donor was Josh," Zach
revealed. "What?" gasped Kendall. Erica tried to keep Kendall calm as she
reeled from the news of her brother's death.... Bianca entered with Reese
and introduced her sister and fiancee. With difficulty, Binks told Kendall
that Zach was the donor for Gabrielle.
David told Erica that Kendall would make a full recovery. She was overjoyed.
He implied that he wouldn't let her forget what he'd done for her daughter.
