Jack, Caleb and Opal came up empty in their attempt to track down Erica. Krystal came by and offered Jack her condolences. Erica's captor delivered a meal to her and a blank sheet of paper. The disembodied voice of the captor told Erica that she needed to write a letter convincing Jack she didn't want to marry him. The captor realized that Erica had tried to write in code so he/she returned the note and told Erica that she was going to have to phone home. To prevent harm from coming to her granddaughters, Erica was forced to tell Jack that although she was terribly sorry, she couldn't marry him right now. Jack sensed that something was wrong but Erica had to deny it. The kidnapper's voice told Erica that Bianca and Miranda were fine. Erica insisted to her captor that she didn't have feelings for Caleb. Jack updated Jesse about the call. Caleb told Jack that for what it was worth, Erica had chosen Jack over him. Erica realized that her captor didn't want money.
Angie didn't know what to make of Jesse's reluctance to hold Lucy. Brot called with news about Griff's stabber so Jesse rushed out.
Brot and Jesse discussed the baby predicament.
Kendall and Ricky showed up at the hospital to see Griffin. Kendall wanted to see him alone so Ricky went to the park to berate the guy he had charged with stabbing Griffin for failing to finish the job. Kendall questioned Griff about whether he knew anything about Erica's disappearance. He took offense. Kendall reminded Griffin that he had lied to her; he said he was sorry for trusting her. Ricky showed up to take Kendall home. Griffin warned Kendall to be careful. Ricky said he would take good care of her. After they left, Jesse visited Griffin and told him he was being charged with murder.
Krystal vented to Angie about Erica.
Asher and Maya chatted at the mansion. Asher met up with Caleb and Opal and got an Erica update. Opal and Caleb both thought something fishy was going on with Erica.
Back at the house, Kendall opened up to Ricky about her confusion over Griffin. He comforted her and called her sweetheart, which caused Kendall to pull back from him. Kendall had flashbacks and realized with a gasp that Ricky may be the bad guy!
Marissa tried to comfort Bianca over Erica's disappearance. Marissa offered to help Bianca deal with the PR fall-out Griff's arrest had had on the Miranda Center. JR and AJ arrived in St. Bart's to surprise Marissa. She was stunned. Later, Bianca and JR discussed the state of JR and Marissa's relationship. Bianca told JR that she was staying neutral when it came to JR's efforts to win back Marissa.

Tad and Jake dined at ConFusion and Tad updated Jake on his efforts to help Griffin. Tad noted Jake's concern for Cara and advised him to focus on his own wife. Bickering ensued between the brothers. Angie called Tad, worried about Jesse. The Martin men went to see Jesse, who felt attacked and ordered them to back off.
Cara tended to Griffin. Bianca came to see Griff, who insisted that he's innocent. Bianca told Griff about the Miranda Center's woes and Griff said he was going to resign.
At home, Kendall reeled as she pondered the possibility that Ricky killed Zach. Ricky showed up and tried to convince Kendall to spend some time with him; she said she had to go to work. She went to see Griffin and received the cold shoulder from Cara. Griff said he understood why Kendall thought him to be guilty. She walked out with a heavy heart. Cara followed and confronted Kendall, telling her about how "off" her buddy Ricky was. The talk left Kendall with a bad feeling. Meanwhile, Ricky met up with a colleague and hinted at planning a surprise for Kendall.
Angie and Randi had a heart-to-heart. Randi admitted that Lucy made her think about the baby she miscarried. Angie told Randi that she had felt that way when she first regained consciousness after giving birth. Randi left and Angie was disconcerted when an arriving David picked up a fussy Lucy. Angie agreed to let David read the research about the possible sight-restoring procedure. Jesse had a bad reaction when he came home to find Lucy in David's presence. He told David to leave. Jesse asked Angie why David had been there and Angie told Jesse about David's belief that he could give her back her sight. Jesse was appalled that Angie was trusting David even a little. "I want to see again!" wept Angie.
Kendall and Bianca met up at home and discussed the charges against Griffin. Kendall fished for info about Ricky. Ricky came back to the house after learning that Kendall hadn't shown up at the office. She covered. She tried to get rid of him but he refused to leave.
Jake went to see Griff and Cara and assured Griff that he would continue to lie about his condition to keep him out of jail. Griffin noted how far he and Jake had come in their relationship.
Bianca encountered a doleful David in the bark. He was bummed about having lost Marissa. Binks assured David that Marissa was doing well.

Emma was upset when Ryan and Greenlee told her that she'd be spending the day at Fusion. Ryan thanked Greenlee for not giving up on Emma. Emma told Ryan that she wanted to go home. Ryan made her stay. After he left, Greens seemed to get through to Emma. Emma then spied a picture of Annie and lashed out at Greens, then ran into an elevator that was being repaired.
Griffin watched a news story about his arrest and stabbing.
Tad tried to keep Cara calm over the Griffin situation. She insisted on helping him clear her brother's name. He sternly made it clear that they would be working on protecting Kendall, too. Following a lead, Tad and Cara went to Krystal's, and they followed their suspect to the park, where Tad reluctantly separated from his wife. Cara was approached by the guy she was following and he tried to stab her. Tad showed up and knocked him out from behind. They summoned Jesse, who arrested the guy for stabbing Griffin. They brought him to the hospital, where Griff ID'd his stabber. The guy had been well-trained and further implicated Griffin in Diana's death.
Kendall was wary when Ricky told her he wanted to take her somewhere. She agreed to go. He took her to the park. Opal showed up and gushed about Ricky's wonderfulness. After she left, Ricky had to cover when he quoted a conversation with Zach that she'd never told anyone about. She was confused. Ryan came by to take Kendall home, much to Ricky's dismay. Ryan told Ricky that he was investigating Diana Holden. Ryan and a jumpy Ricky went to ConFusion to discuss Ryan's findings. Ryan left when Greens called to tell him that Emma was stuck in the elevator. Ricky thought that Kendall might be suspicious of him, since she faked her headache.
Kendall went to the yacht and asked Zach to help her figure out what happened to him. She ignored a call from Ricky. Kendall found a mysterious envelope. It was a copy of Zach's letter, minus the page Ricky had faked. Kendall realized that Zach had been trying to warn her about Ricky — who lurked right outside.
Madison brought Scott a new tie at work. Scott told Mad about a new job opportunity he had. Scott gave her a baby gift. Scott was bummed when he was turned down for the job.
Ryan chastised Emma for running into a broken elevator. He told her that her bad behavior had to stop that day.

Erica's captor refused to release her or explain how he/she knew so much about her. Erica tried to figure out a way out but couldn't find one. Reluctantly, she agreed to drink some water. Erica tried to unnerve her captor.
Opal came to see a distraught Jack.
Ricky surprised Kendall on the boat. Ryan showed up and Ricky left; Kendall told Ryan she may have proof that Zach was murdered. She showed Ryan the evidence Zach had stashed and made Ryan promise "to do this my way" before sharing her suspicions about Ricky.
Griffin's stabber made it look to Jesse like he and Griff were previously acquainted. Cara begged Jesse not to listen to the guy and refusesd to accept that her brother would have to go back to jail. Ricky showed up and approached Liza, letting it slip that Griff's condition was much improved. Liza then ordered Jesse to get Griffin back to jail. Cara was determined to falsify Griff's medical records to keep him out of jail. To protect Cara, Griff told Liza that he felt fine and was ready to go back to jail.
Krystal and Caleb discussed his trip to St. Bart's. She then went to see Jack, where she ranted against what Erica had done to him. Jack vented against Erica as well. He thanked her for being a good friend. She stopped short of letting on about her crush on him.
Kendall came to see Griffin and Cara refused to let her go near her brother. Kendall told Cara she was close to getting to the truth and beseeched Cara to help her. Kendall went into Griffin's room and announced, "I'm busting you out of this place."
Opal went to see Caleb to urge him to move on from Erica.
Liza told Ryan that Ricky had spoken ill of Griffin to her. Ricky made reservations at ConFusion for a special occasion and fingered an engagement ring.

Kendall explained her plan to break Griff out of the hospital to Cara and Griffin. Cara pulled the fire alarm and Kendall scooted him out of his room. She brought him to the park to fill him in on her findings on the yacht.
Ryan told Ricky that he was going to continue to investigate Diana. Ricky told Ryan that he thought Kendall was becoming obsessed with figuring out what happened to Zach.
Frankie visited with Lucy and Angie. Angie told Frankie about the research David had shown her. Frankie was not on board with Angie trusting David.
Jesse and Tad encountered David at the hospital. Jesse told Hayward to stay out of the Hubbards' lives. When the alarm went off, Cara privately told Tad that it was false. Tad chastised Cara for breaking the law. Jesse discovered Griffin missing from his room and put out an APB. Brot brought David over to Jesse for questioning. Jesse brought Cara to the station. Tad decided to protect Cara by claiming to have set off the alarm himself. Jesse reluctantly let them leave. Tad tried to console Cara.
Kendall took Griffin to the park and shared with him what had happened on the yacht. Griff and Kendall recommitted to trusting and helping one another. Ryan found them and after the trio went to a safehouse, he agreed to help Kendall get Griffin out of the country. Kendall told Griffin that she thinks Ricky is involved with Zach's death. Griff was stunned. Kendall begged Griff to leave the country. He agreed very reluctantly. Ryan took Kendall home. When she went inside, she was shocked to find Ricky playing with Spike and Ian.
Jesse came home to find David with Angie and barked at him to leave. Angie told Jesse she was merely considering David's offer to perform the surgery. Jesse agreed to be supportive.
