AMC Week of April 26, 2010
Monday
Someone hacked into Amanda's computer. At ConFusion, Jake assured Amanda that he wasn't upset with her for losing her wedding ring. Natalia showed up to celebrate their photo shoots. Jake read the latest message from AmandaFan. They discussed ways to block the fan from contacting Amanda. Ciro arrived and sang Natalia's natural talent.
Post-lovemaking, David told Greenlee that he's in love with her. She said she needed time to reciprocate. Greenlee took a nap; David left her a note claiming that he had to go deal with a hospital shareholder, then went to the park, where he took swigs from a flask and thought about Greenlee. Liza arrived and deduced that he's drowning his sorrows because Greenlee doesn't love him. Liza commiserated, given her situation with Tad. David vented about Ryan's pursuit of Greenlee.
Annie told JR that she would tell Marissa about their affair if he tried to kick her out of the mansion. He told her to think before she blackmails, contending that Adam would insist upon her leaving. He tried to get her to leave by buying her off. Annie refused the offer, then tried to comfort Emma, who came in after hearing angry voices. Annie went upstairs to tuck Emma in; the little girl noticed when Annie began to cry. Annie tried to explain to Emma why she and Adam were ending their marriage. Downstairs, JR threw a glass in frustration. Marissa entered and JR tried to come clean with her about his infidelity. Colby arrived and told JR and Marissa that Adam was gone. Marissa left and Colby harangued JR for having bedded Annie. Marissa went upstairs and Annie thanked her for showing her such compassion. Marissa informed Annie that Adam left town with Brooke and hugged Annie, telling her that she'll help her any way she can. Annie grinned devilishly at JR, who caught the tail end of Marissa's pledge.
Madison prepared for her first shift at the casino. She assured Ryan that she was up to the challenge. Madison was summoned by an angry Greenlee and left. Greenlee got to Fusion and found Jake trying to hack into Amanda's computer to investigate the missives from the stalker. When Jake challenged Greenlee about David, she ordered him to leave. Madison showed up and was forced to tell Greens about her job at the casino. She forbade Madison from moonlighting. Jake went back to ConFusion and begged Natalia to protect his wife from the stalker, who found Amanda's new e-mail address after Amanda closed her other one. Madison defied Greenlee's orders by reporting to work. David showed up at the casino.
Tuesday
Randi, Madison and Amanda were hard at work at Fusion when Jake came by to steal Amanda away to ConFusion. Jake was nervous about Amanda being on Twitter due to the stalker. Jake surprised Amanda with a new wedding ring. Their make-out session grew steamy and they raced home for a little afternoon delight. The Martins went back to Fusion and Madison gave Amanda a package that had just arrived for her. The return address read simply "AmandaFan." Jake opened it and read the note inside, which apologized for taking Amanda's ring, which "AmandaFan" had returned in the package.
At the Chandler manse, JR tried to avert his gaze from Annie's low-cut dress. After they traded threats, Liza showed up to serve Annie with Adam's divorce papers. An arriving Marissa was stunned to learn that Adam is divorcing Annie on the grounds of infidelity. "Is this true?" she asked Annie. Scott entered and claimed that he's the person that Adam suspected Annie of cheating with. Scott said that Adam had been looking for an excuse to get out of his marriage because of his feelings for Brooke. Liza and Marissa exited; JR thanked Scott for talking the fall and Scott made it plain that he had only done it to protect Marissa, AJ and Emma. Annie walked out and Scott told JR that Annie was going to stay at the mansion. Annie went upstairs to tell Marissa that she appreciates her support. Scott warned JR that Marissa isn't suspicious about JR and Annie "yet" but that his cousin should be careful.
Colby went to see Damon at Tad's. She opened up about her father's departure. He told her about his ADHD diagnosis, which she thought was good news. He admitted that he hadn't started to take his meds. She brought him to his appointment and he smooched her. Liza saw and scowled. She confronted Colby, who was dismissive of her mom's concerns. Colby went home and Scott updated her on what he had done to protect Marissa. Colby questioned whether Scott's feelings for Annie motivated him to take the fall. JR told Annie to take Adam's offer but she refused, warning him that it wasn't going to be that easy to get rid of her.
At the police station, Jesse was furious because an officer had plastered nude pics of Natalia around the office. Brot explained that the photos were from Natalia's Fusion photo shoot. An upset Natalia entered and Jesse threatened to fire her. Father and daughter squabbled over what he saw as her bad professional judgement. He tried to call Greenlee to have her pull the campaign but she slammed down the phone. Angie entered with Jesse's lunch and he showed his wife the poster. Angie told Natalia that the picture was gorgeous. Jesse's jaw was on the ground over Angie's support of Natalia. Angie told Natalia to let her speak to Jesse alone. Angie urged Jesse to loosen his reins on his daughter. A brouhaha erupted in the station when Brot decked the officer who had posted the images around the building.
Wednesday
At the Chandler mansion, Colby and Scott discussed the family drama while, in the next room, Annie continued to push a relationship between herself and JR. Scott told Colby she should leave and not worry about the family drama. Before she left, Scott comforted Colby when she said she missed her father. When Scott walked in on JR and Annie, Annie hugged him and thanked him for all of his compassion.
Marissa walked in and Annie continued to play the sympathy card, offering to take AJ and Emma out for a playdate. Marissa declined and said AJ already had a playdate, but she wanted to speak to her husband. When Annie and Scott left the room, Annie explained she hugged him to show her gratitude, but Scott told her not to do it again. He said he lied about them having an affair to protect his family, not to help Annie. Marissa admitted to JR that she lied about AJ having a playdate because she didn't think Annie was stable enough to take care of two children. Marissa said she thought something about Adam's reasons for leaving and Brooke going with him seemed a little wrong. JR admitted he was afraid that when they moved back into the mansion his family would taint Marissa: "We're all such bad news and you're so good." He confessed he was afraid of what would happen to their relationship, but she said she wasn't because their love is strong. They started kissing as Annie watched from the door.
Liza angrily warned Damon to stay away from Colby, as he exited his first therapy session. Tad walked in on the confrontation and tried to calm them. Liza warned Tad to keep Damon away from Colby. Tad asked Damon how his first therapy session went. Damon admitted to not cooperating and thinking it was a waste of time; Tad reminded him it was required by the court that he actively participate in the therapy. Damon left in a huff for his tutoring lesson with Colby. Tad finally received word from Hilary that she would come to Pine Valley. Tad, expecting to meet up with Hilary, was shocked to see Damon's father, Paul Miller, instead. The two argued and he told Tad to leave his wife alone. When Tad admitted he had taken over guardianship of Damon, Paul became angered. After Tad told him that Damon had been diagnosed with ADHD, Paul asked to see Damon.
At the hospital, Angie was confused as to why there was a board meeting that she did not know about. She heard Liza talking about the meeting. Angie confronted Liza, demanding to know what the meeting was about and why she was there, since she wasn't even a board member. Liza reminded Angie that she was a lawyer and what she was doing was confidential. Angie warned that it better not have anything to do with David. She reminded Liza of all the bad things Liza had done when they were young. Angie admitted that Liza had changed slightly since then, but warned her not to get pulled down by David.
Colby was tutoring Damon and was surprised that he was actually paying attention to her. He said it wasn't hard to pay attention, because she was so beautiful. When Colby asked him a math problem about inheriting eye color, Damon thought of how his son could inherit ADHD from him. Colby calmed him down. Damon wrote a song for Colby to thank her for everything she had done for him. Colby informed Damon that her father had left and she felt left behind. She admitted that the house felt empty. He consoled her and the two began to kiss. As they were kissing, Tad walked in with Damon's father. Paul was nasty to Damon right from the start.
After Brot attacked another cop, Jesse suspended Brot and took away his badge and gun. Natalia went after Brot to make sure he was okay. She was worried because she'd never seen him this angry. Brot mentioned what he would have done in Iraq, which caused Natalia to ask if this was all about Iraq. Natalia said she was worried for her partner and thanked Brot for standing up for her. The two were interrupted by a text from Jesse telling Natalia he had an assignment for her.
After Amanda received her missing ring back from her "fan," Jake urged her to quit her job so she would be safe. Amanda refused to back down so they went to Jesse for help. Jesse said Natalia could work as Amanda's bodyguard at Fusion until everything was settled, noting, "You can't be too careful." Jake then came up with a plan to trap the "fan" using Amanda's fan club, and Jesse agreed. They decided they would lure the "fan" to Fusion. When "AMANDAFAN" walked off the elevator, Jake, Amanda, Jesse, and Natalia looked shocked.
Thursday
Jack and Erica had dinner at ConFusion. Erica told Jack that she thought they should put the kibosh on their reunion. Jack didn't protest and left, leaving Erica shaken. Opal arrived and urged Erica not to throw away a future with Jack. Jack went to his office, where Krystal was hard at work organizing things.
Ryan caught Madison napping at the casino; she feared that he was going to fire her. He set her mind at ease. She left when Greenlee summoned her. Ryan spotted a paper Madison had left behind. He went to see Jack with the paper, which was an eviction notice. Ryan told Jack that he was going to pay Madison's back rent but wanted to do so anonymously. Jack said that he would take care of it. After he left, Erica came to the office and Krystal made herself scarce. Jack maintained that he was totally okay with her decision to end things.
At Wildwind, Greenlee complained to David about Madison's job performance. Greenlee again assured David that her relationship with Ryan is in the past. Madison arrived and was evasive with Greens about where she had been. Once alone with Madison, David told her that he knows that she's still moonlighting and would keep her secret safe.
Tad brought Paul to the Martin house, where he demanded that Damon pack up his stuff and come with him. Paul and Damon bickered. Tad defended Damon to Paul. Tad went to ConFusion and informed Opal that Damon is his son. Meanwhile, Colby and Damon had absconded to the park with some alcohol she had swiped from Tad's. They grew closer. Liza then came upon them and read them the riot act. Damon left and Liza trash-talked Damon to Colby. "He's going to break your heart just like his father broke mine," spat Liza, who then admitted to Colby that Tad is Damon's dad. An eavesdropping Damon was floored and ran off.
Tad vented to Krystal about Paul's awful treatment of Damon. He decided it was time to tell his son the truth.
Greenlee went to B.J.'s to pick up an order. Ryan was there. Greens and Ryan discussed Madison.
Ciro fell victim to the sting attempt to suss out the identity of Amanda's crazed fan. Upset, Ciro quit. Amanda got another missive from the stalker. Nat broke the bad news that the stalker had actually been watching them via Amanda's computer. Jake grew increasingly upset. Natalia and Amanda went back to the loft and Nat tried to get Amanda to take seriously how big a threat the stalker could pose. Natalia agreed to watch out for Amanda from the squad car, giving her some space. But someone was watching Amanda very, very close by....
Friday
Tad showed up at the Chandler mansion looking for Damon, but Colby didn't
know where he was. Colby admitted that Liza told her Tad was Damon's father.
The two talked about the situation and both came to the conclusion that
Damon needed to know as soon as possible. Colby remembered Damon had a
therapy session and agreed to go to the hospital with Tad as backup when he
told Damon. As they were getting ready to leave, JR walked in, so Colby went
to the hospital on her own. When she arrived, Damon seemed upset. She
tried to comfort him, then informed him that Tad was looking for him, but
lied about why. Damon gave Colby a chance to tell him that Tad was his
father, but she didn't.
Back at the Chandler Mansion, Tad informed a shocked JR that he had another son,
Damon. “I
feel like I woke up on the wrong side of the twilight zone,” Tad added. JR assured him that Damon had hit the lottery by having Tad
for a father; in fact he had always wished Tad was his real father. DNA didn't matter — JR was just as much his child as he was
Adam's, insisted. They talked about Brooke and Adam leaving and how happy they were about the couple’s reunion. It was always the plan to get Adam
away from Annie, gloated JR. Unable to squirm out of it when Tad wondered what JR meant when he used the word
“plan,” JR admitted
he’d done something to break Annie and Adam up, something Marissa didn’t know about. Tad warned JR that the secrets he
was keeping from Marissa would tear them apart. When JR questioned whether
or not Dixie would have been ashamed of him, Tad assured him that he and
Dixie could never be ashamed of him. JR admitted he was worried, but was
doing everything to protect his family. Tad cautioned, “Sometimes everything
isn't enough.” Colby came back to the mansion and warned Tad that Damon was
acting weird and angry. Worried, Tad questioned where Liza was.
David and Liza were having breakfast when he pressed her for information on
Madison. Liza didn’t buy his claim he just wanted to protect Greenlee, sharing that she didn't have much on Madison, but when
she was representing Madison's father she was pretty sure Madison had scared
her father into changing his plea. With that information, David left.
As Liza left her breakfast with David, she ran into Damon, who accused her
of lying. Damon claimed that Liza would do anything to get rid of him, even
lie to about Tad being his father. “He is your father and God help you, you're just like
him,” Liza replied, swearing she wouldn't let Damon
break Colby's heart just like Tad broke hers. Damon still didn't want
to believe the truth, so Liza spilled that Tad did a
paternity test and has known for a long time. Ask Tad, she suggested, as
he walked up to them.
Denied more credit at Fusion, Madison stole money. As
she was grabbing cash, Randi walked in and caught her. Madison claimed
she was borrowing money for lunch because she had left her wallet at home, but
Randi didn't buy it and the two argued. Finally, Randi told Madison she was
acting flaky lately, a lot more like the “old Madison,” and pointed out the
simplest way to determine if Madison was a thieg was to audit the petty cash. David
eavesdropped on the two as they argued, hearing Randi tell Madison, “I know
what you're capable of.” When Madison questioned why Randi was being so mean to
her, Randi yelled, “You committed murder and tried to pin it on me!”
Jake and Amanda argued over whether or not Amanda was safe from her
“fan.” Unbeknownst to them, the “fan” was in hiding in the apartment! Amanda
told Jake she had relieved Natalia as a
bodyguard. When Jake said he wouldn't leave if Natalia wasn't there, Amanda agreed to let Natalia hang around her for one day. Natalia
came over after talking to Brot and, clearly upset,
informed Amanda that Brot was thinking about quitting his job. Amanda tried to console Natalia, but became angered when Natalia wouldn’t allow her to leave the apartment. Before leaving to tend to Trevor, Amanda told Natalia to go take care of
things with Brot. When Amanda returned, Natalia was gone, so she assumed she had left to find Brot. Little
did Amanda know, Natalia had been knocked unconscious by her the “Amanda
fan” ... her mother, Janet!
