AMC Week of April 7, 2008
Monday
Kendall scrambled to cover when Annie pressed her about Aidan's slip of the tongue regarding Aidan and Kendall's night of guilt sex. Annie decided she had too much on her own plate to worry about what Kendall and Aidan were up to. Kendall took Aidan back to his place and blasted him for his loose lips. Kendall encouraged Aidan not to give up on Greenlee. Meanwhile, Annie met with Livia, having decided to move forward with the divorce despite Livia's reservations.
Jack and Zach figured out where Erica and Carmen have headed. Zach phoned Kendall to let her know the news.
At Mando's, while Mando's mother, Luisa, kept the gun trained on Erica and Carmen, Erica managed to get the mother and son to open up about their role
in the bank robbery by promising them reality show fame. La Kane secretly recorded the confession but the tape recover, which is tucked in her bra, began smoking....
Fresh from renewing their vows, Angie and Jesse arrived at a beautiful suite at the Valley Inn. Their attempts at making love were thwarted by several
disasters, including chocolate getting on Jesse's head and a fire starting in the room.
Greenlee begged Ryan not to sever his ties to her. They ended up in a kiss but Greens pulled back from Ryan upon realizing that she was trying to fix
him again. She decided to go home to Aidan. Ryan supported her decision. After she departed, Ryan was hit with a slew of memories about his romance
with Greens and called out to her. She ran back but in the end, Ryan decided to keep his recovered memories to himself.
Tuesday
Angie and Jesse returned to their place, eager to resume their passionate honeymoon. They had to cover their true feelings when they opened the door to find a surprise party in their honor hosted by Tad and Krystal. The Hubbards were overwhelmed by the show of love and support from their friends and family, who offered moving toasts. Tad was sullen when Robert showed up at Frankie's invitation. Frankie urged Tad to give their rescuer a chance. Frankie was in for a surprise of his own when Colby planted a big kiss on
him.... Jesse and Angie sneaked away to consummate their vow renewal.
JR came to see Babe, who railed at him for putting her and Little Adam at risk by contracting Hepatitis-A. Hurt by Babe's lack of faith in him, JR proffered the theory that Richie had been setting him up all along. JR resolved to prove that Richie framed him for Zach's hit and run and also kidnapped and drugged him.... Opal gave Richie another tarot card reading and warned Richie that death can't be cheated — that death won't be satisfied until it finds him.
Kendall was a nervous wreck at the prospect of Greenlee finding out about
her tryst with Aidan. Greenlee tried, with no luck, to reach Aidan. Greens called Kendall, who told her that Aidan was sleeping off a bender. Greens hoped it wasn't too late to make things right with Aidan.
At Mando's place, Erica and Carmen scrambled to stop Mando and Luisa from
discovering the smoking tape recorder in Erica's bra. They failed. Zach and Jack showed up in time to save the ladies — and Zach located stolen property
in the house that helped to incriminate Mando and Luisa. Jack and Erica shared a loving good-bye before she was carted back to jail.
Wednesday
Aidan met Greenlee on the beach, where she had set up a romantic environment. He was reserved, still stung by her rejection of his proposal. Greens told Aidan that she had realized the error of her Ryan-related ways and wanted him to ask her again to marry him. He said that he thought they needed time. Greens's heart ached as he walked away.
At ConFusion, Annie pondered Livia's advice about the divorce and thought back on her romance with Ryan. Ryan showed up and they bonded over Emma's magnificence. They had such a good time together that Annie had a change of heart about giving him the divorce papers Livia had prepared — but Ryan saw the documents when they fell onto the floor.
Kendall felt overwhelmed by guilt when Zach returned home and lavished her with romantic attention. Zach tried to assure Kendall that Erica was fine even though she was headed back to jail. He tried to get her to open up about Ryan, Aidan and the comment she made about jeopardizing her family; she changed the subject.
JR visited Amanda at Fusion and tried to convince her to work with him to uncover Richie's machinations. She was greatly offended when he suggested that she seduce Richie to get the goods on him. JR clarified that he just wanted her to flirt.
Babe came to see Richie at Opal's and told him about the Hepatitis-A scare. She told him that she'd slept with JR. He did not react well and wanted to believe that JR had forced her into it; she made it clear that she slept
with JR because she wanted to. She said, in fact, that she'd done it to save Richie's life. He could barely contain his fury when she told him about the poker game — and after she left, he erupted in panic over JR's condition and the possibility that it could be traced back to him.
Thursday
After Ryan saw the divorce papers at ConFusion, Annie tried to explain that she'd had a change of heart, but Ryan said he thought perhaps it was time for them to move on. After a heart-to-heart, Ryan asked Annie if she could give him just a little more time. Overwhelmed, Annie dashed off.
Greenlee and Zach met at ConFusion. Greens said she needed Zach's help with Aidan. Zach accused Greenlee of trying to win back Aidan simply because Ryan didn't want her, a notion that Greens found greatly offensive. Zach came around and pledged his aid. Ryan caught a glimpse of Greens and had another flashback about their romance. He left without speaking to her. Greens
darted off, eager to accept Aidan's proposal....
Jack visited Erica at the prison. Erica expressed her concern for Carmen and her desire to see Carmen's good name cleared. Carm crashed their chat, which the guards soon ended, but Jack and Erica shared a warm moment before he had to leave. Carmen was discouraged by Jack's belief that her case was hopeless but La Kane urged her to keep the faith and dream big.... Kendall paid Erica a visit.
Jenny's first birthday party got underway at Tad and Krystal's house. Colby, Jesse, and Angie were the first to join in in the celebration. Jesse regaled little Jenny with the story of his friendship with her namesake, Tad's sister, Jenny.
Friday
At the Chandler manse, Adam apologized to JR for not believing his account about being kidnapped and drugged. JR said there was something he could do to prove his sincerity....
Aidan showed up at Jenny's birthday party, but Tad sent him away on an urgent case. Before leaving, Aidan ran into Annie and tried to apologize for his behavior the other night, which had to wait until after an awkward encounter with Zach. Inside the Martins', Opal and Babe discussed Opal's houseguest (Richie); Colby tried to score points with Frankie and also attempted to
convince him that she's not too young for him; Zach's suspicions were alerted when Annie relayed to him what Aidan had said about him and Kendall feeling guilty; Krystal was stunned when JR brought Adam to the party but allowed him to stay (and received a heartfelt mea culpa from Adam about how he'd abandoned her when she was in labor, which, presumably, was what JR had
had in mind earlier); JR and Babe made slight inroads; Kathy and Julia arrived and several folks' thoughts turned to Kathy; Robert arrived and tried to shmooze Jesse; and Ruth and Opal tried to get Tad to give Rob a genuine chance. Rob left and thought back to murdering Remy.
Kendall visited Erica at the prison and told her that she planned to tell Zach the truth about her night with Aidan. Erica strongly urged against it but Kendall was determined. She returned home to a pensive Zach, who was unable to stop thinking about his conversation with Annie.
On orders from Tad, Aidan returned to the office to work on the "missing persons" case. His "client" turned out to be Greenlee, in a sexy film noir outfit. Aidan tried to resist her attempt at seduction, but he couldn't help but succumb. As the duo's passion reached a fevered pitch, Greens accepted Aidan's marriage proposal.
