AMC Week of December 3, 2007
Monday
In the bomb shelter, Greenlee and Zach worked together to tear down a wall
that he hoped would lead to their escape. Their hopes were dashed. Greens
asked Zach about Kendall's feelings for her and was crushed when Zach
explained the depth of Kendall's hatred for her. When Greens pointed out
Zach's own culpability, he was affected by her logic and began to soften
toward her.
At the park, Ryan and Annie looked on as Walter bonded with Emma. Annie was
hopeful that she and Walter might reconcile but agreed with Ryan that Richie
had spewed so much poison against her, that might not be possible. Ryan was
suspicious of having seen Richie's prison doc at the hospital and ordered an
investigation.
Jack and Julia enjoyed each other's company at ConFusion.
At the hospital, Lily's feelings were hurt when Richie had no memory of
meeting her. After Lily left, Richie and Dr. Chambers exchanged harsh words
over the execution of their mysterious murder plan. A returning Lily
overheard a snippet of the conversation and became distressed but slipped
off before they noticed her. Jack returned home to find Lily mid-meltdown.
Erica and Kendall went to Tad and Aidan's to hire them to find Zach. A
brusque Aidan didn't want to take on the case. Kendall wouldn't take no for
an answer so Aidan ordered her to leave. Tad tried to calm things down by
telling Erica and Kendall where things stood in their investigation —
reluctantly admitting that he believed there might be a connection between
Zach's disappearance and Greenlee's.
Tuesday
Tad summoned Hannah to his place. As he tended to Jenny, the duo had a
candid talk about her unsavory past and ended up growing closer, with Tad
expressing admiration for Hannah's strength and disgust over Adam's
life-ruining maneuvers.
Krystal came to the manse and tried to make Adam see that by turning down
his offer of an alibi, JR is trying to become a better man. Adam opened up
about his fear of losing JR to a prison term and broke down crying, stirring
Krystal's sympathies. She agreed to spend the night with Adam but insisted
on calling Tad to let him know where she was. Tad handled the news fairly
well, cozying up to Hannah and pulling her into a kiss.
Ava visited JR in his jail cell with a secret stash of alcohol. Her motive?
To get JR drunk in the hopes that it would prompt his memory of the night of
the hit and run to return. He was greatly tempted but decided against
imbibing, noting that he had to stay strong for Little Adam. Ava ended up
getting kicked out for having smuggled in contraband. JR's attraction to Ava
was obvious as he watched her getting dragged away by the cops.
In the woods, Aidan searched frantically for Greenlee. He thought he'd hit
pay dirt but hit another dead end, causing his frustration to skyrocket.
"Damn it, Greenlee, where are you?" he bellowed.
Kendall had a nightmare in which both Zach and Greenlee died —Greenlee at
Zach's hands. When she woke up, she was more determined than ever to find
her husband and took off from the house. She tracked down Aidan in the
woods.
Wednesday
At the hospital, Richie deviously played on Babe's sympathies, pretending to
be much weaker than he actually is. The ploy worked like a charm and Babe
went to see Ryan to demand that Ryan provide for Richie's care once he's
released from the hospital. Ryan filled in Jonathan about his suspicions
about Richie's connection to Dr. Chambers. Jon helped Ryan look into the
visitors Richie received during his final months in prison.
Julia showed up at the Montgomery manse and was greeted by a worried Jack.
He explained that he had come home to find Lily in a state of distress.
Julia gently tried to get Lily to explain what had happened to upset her.
Lily, whose condition had been brought on by overhearing Richie's
conversation with the prison doctor, remained unresponsive, save for
uttering the word "murder."
In the bomb shelter, Greenlee and Zach opened up to each other after his cell phone battery died (which meant he could no longer gaze upon
pics of Kendall, Spike and Ian). They then continued their efforts to tear
down the wall of the shelter.
Aidan was not happy to see Kendall when she tracked him down in the woods.
Kendall begged Aidan to let her help him search for Zach and Greenlee. Aidan
demanded that Kendall admit to having set up Greenlee. Kendall came clean
and insisted that she regretted her actions. Aidan spat that he wanted
nothing to do with Kendall, but she was determined not to be shut out...
Thursday
At the Slater manse, Kendall told Erica about her fruitless attempts to talk
Aidan into letting her help him search for Zach and Greenlee. La Kane was
distressed when Kendall reported that she'd made a full confession to Aidan
about her set-up of Greenlee. Kendall noted that the depth of Aidan's love
for Greenlee is beautiful.
At the Chandler manse, Adam remained frustrated by his inability to get JR
to accept his help to fight the hit and run charges. He became further
distressed when Krystal reminded him that Tad isn't willing to budge when
refusing to allow Jenny anywhere near Adam was concerned.... After an
Adam-centric chat with Colby, Tad welcomed Krystal home with something less
than open arms. Krystal slapped Tad across the face when he accused her of
having chosen Adam over her daughter. He stormed off after she brought up
Kate. Adam then came to the house to see Tad but only Krystal and Jenny were
home. Krystal had cut her hand, so Adam scooped up Jenny and insisted on
taking them both to the hospital.... Tad went to the hospital to see Joe and
ranted to Julia about Krystal's involvement with Adam.
In the woods, Aidan realized that someone had been on his property. A
differnet someone, Kendall, then showed up with a crowbar and made it clear
that she wouldn't take his 'no' for an answer.
In the boy's bedroom, Spike was being prepared for his imminent cochlear
implant surgery — urging him to be brave for Kendall.
Pretending to be JR's sister, Ava returned to the jail to visit JR. She left
after denying to JR that she has feelings for him. Livia was JR's next
visitor and when she made it clear that she was there at Tad's behest and not
Adam's (and dangled a pic of Little Adam), JR agreed to retain her services.
Colby then came to see her brother and JR assured her that he had already
stopped drinking.... At Fusion, Amanda admitted to Babe that she was hurt
over JR and Babe's one-night stand. Babe was extremely worried about the
possibility of JR being sentenced to remain in jail. Ava showed up and she
and Amanda exchanged harsh words. Ava shoved Amanda, causing Amanda's purse
to fall to the ground and a DVD to slip out. She claimed it contained family
photos but was clearly hiding something. What was it? Proof — on DVD — that JR isn't responsible for the hit and run.
Friday
Posing as FBI agents, Ryan and Jonathan paid a visit to a shady insurance
broker connected to Richie. Ryan talked to the man in the hallway so that
Jon could scour his office. Once Jon got what he'd been looking for
(Richie's life insurance policy), the brothers left. The document showed
that Dr. Chambers stood to collect on Richie's death if it was caused by
something other than a pre-existing condition. Ryan finally realized that
Richie was trying to get himself murdered.
Annie visited Richie at the hospital. She told Richie that Ryan had agreed
to pay for nurses to take care of him once he's released. Richie seemed
bothered when he observed Walter and Emma playing together in the hallway.
Once alone with his pop, Richie blasted Walter for bonding with Emma and
Walter was cold to Annie and Emma when he emerged from his son's room. Annie
didn't believe Richie when Rich claimed he hadn't said a word to Walter....
Ryan showed up and showed Richie the insurance policy. "You came here so
that we would kill you," he accused.
Kendall made it clear to Aidan that she was going to stick to him like glue
until Zach and Greenlee are found. That down-on-their-luck duo, meanwhile,
continued to try to tear down the wall of the bomb shelter. Zach lost his
temper when Greens read aloud from some love letters she found stashed in
the shelter.... Kendall showed Aidan that the sketch he'd found near
Greenlee's cell phone mirrored the charms on the bracelet Zach had made for
her, proving that the missing persons were probably together.
In the hospital hallway, Tad and Julia discussed the possible resurrection
of Adam and Krystal's relationship. Tad remained committed to keeping Adam
far away from Jenny. Adam (holding Jenny) and Krystal arrived seeking
medical attention for Krystal's sliced hand. Krystal tried to get Adam to
leave but he refused. Once Krystal was patched up, she and Adam (again
carrying the baby) packed up to leave —and ran right into a horrified Tad.
Tad snatched Jenny and came down hard on Krystal for having allowed Adam
into their home. Tad said that from now on, he would be responsible for
their child's welfare.... Adam took a closer look at the document that had
been under his sofa — the adoption papers for Kathy.
