AMC Week of February 25, 2008
Monday
Richie came over to Babe's condo and they discussed JR having volunteered to be Richie's bone marrow donor. He grabbed a moment alone to call his
henchman, whom he ordered to keep JR "on ice." To Babe, Richie claimed that a donor had been found for him in Austin and that he didn't need JR's
donation anymore. He said that when he returned a healthy man, he would make Babe fall in love with him.... JR regained consciousness and fell out of
bed, weakened.... After Richie left, Babe left a message for JR telling him
about the new donor.... Richie ordered the procedure to begin and told a
conked-out JR that he was going to take his bone marrow AND his girl.
At the cabin, Jesse vowed to Angie that he would never leave their family
again. Angie got a call from Derek, who informed her that John "Remy"
Remington's remains had been found. Angie told Jesse that she had been
involved with Remy. After hearing the story, Jesse wondered if Remy's death
was somehow connected to his own "death".... Jesse slept, but was plagued by nightmares about his tormenters.
Aidan got snippy with Greenlee and Zach at ConFusion when they kept talking about the bomb shelter. He excused himself and Zach and Greens got tipsy together and continued to bond. They agreed that the relationship they'd forged in the shelter was more intimate than that of lovers.... Kendall showed up and she and Aidan touched base about their respective guilty consciences. Kendall also warned Aidan that Ryan might pursue Greens romantically, then retracted her statement.
Kendall visited Erica at the Montgomery manse. Erica was worried when Kendall said that Aidan was joining her on her book tour as her bodyguard. Kendall took offense at La Kane's lack of faith... Pam delivered the bad news to Erica that NEW BEGINNINGS has been cancelled.
Ryan stopped by the penthouse to see Annie. His mission? To break the news
to Emma that he wouldn't be living there anymore. Once the sad job was done, Annie lost her temper with Ryan and made it clear that until he prioritized her and Emma over Kendall, he wasn't welcome at the penthouse.... Annie was heartbroken when Ryan left and broke down sobbing. Emma was upset when she
saw her mom in agony.
Tuesday
Zach tried to reassure Annie about her relationship with Ryan. Meanwhile, at
the hospital, Joe told Ryan that physiologically, his brain is normal. Ryan
wanted to undergo electric shock therapy but Joe said that wasn't a viable
option.
Aidan told Tad he'd be going out of town but didn't want to discuss the
details of his trip with Kendall. He met up with Zach at ConFusion and was
markedly on edge.
Kendall, Amanda, Babe and Greenlee worked on Fusion's new perfume. When
Annie showed up, the tension was thick between her and Kendall. Greenlee
surprised the staff with pole-dancing lessons. Annie took the lead in
letting loose. Ryan showed up and Greenlee and Kendall threw him up on the
pole with Annie — but Ryan only had eyes for Kendall, which did not escape
Annie's notice.
Jack visited Erica at her office. She was in a tizzy over the cancellation
of NEW BEGINNINGS. Samuel came by and after issuing a light threat toward
Sam, Erica became miffed with Jack's interest in cutting a deal. Sam made it
clear to La Kane that she could be facing up to 10 years in prison. After
Woods left, Jack told Erica she could actually be sentenced to 20 years.
Erica vowed to bring down Sam.
Someone with a file on the Hubbards called Joe for Angie's number.
Wednesday
Things got tense at Fusion when Greenlee and Kendall forced Ryan into a pole dance with Annie and instead of gazing upon Annie, he started at Kendall. Zach and Aidan arrived and the awkward group of six got stuck in the elevator. Annie's frustration got the best of her and she lashed out at Ryan and Kendall. Zach got Greenlee through her claustrophobic panic.... The elevator resumed working and the sextet went to ConFusion. Annie bolted when Ryan failed to show concern for her well-being.... Kendall and Aidan left for the airport after Zach agreed to look after Erica for Kendall. Zach then made a covert private call.... Greens rejoined Ryan at the bar.
At ConFusion, Babe fretted to Krystal that she couldn't track down JR.
Richie, meanwhile, went full steam ahead with his plans to pilfer JR's bone
marrow.... Babe told Krystal that she fell back in love with JR when he
agreed to donate his bone marrow to Richie but that clearly, he had just
conned her (because she now believed he never intended to go through with
his offer).... Once the marrow was extracted, Richie told the doc to get rid of JR.... Babe got a call about JR and she and Krystal went to the motel
room they'd been tipped off about. "Oh, my God," gasped Babe when the door opened.... Richie fantasized about Babe seducing him.
Angie went to see Jesse at the cabin. She left after Tad showed up with the
files on Remington's death. Tad and Jesse mined the info they had for new
clues.
Joe was thrilled when Frankie rejoined the intern program at the hospital. A
seemingly smitten Colby introduced herself to Frankie. Angie went to the
hospital and commanded her son not to get involved in Jesse's investigation.... Colby was turned off by Frankie when he was rude to
her.... Angie freaked when she ran into Jesse in the hospital file room.
They then set about doing their fact-finding.... Someone was watching
Frankie.
Thursday
Off the tip she'd gotten as to JR's whereabouts, Babe, with Krystal in tow, showed up in a hotel room, where JR was in bed with a hooker. A groggy JR came to (courtesy of ice water from Babe) but had no idea what was going
on.... The woman Richie had hired to pose with JR came to see Richie with a
progress report.... Richie's doc warned him that his recovery could take some time.
A furious Erica stormed into the Chandler manse and confronted Adam about the insider trading charges. Adam said he was sorry, but he couldn't get involved in her case. Krystal and Babe showed up with a woozy JR. He explained that he'd been kidnapped and drugged, but Babe didn't buy a word. Krystal said that believed JR. JR swore to Babe that he would never lie to her to get her into bed. Krystal said she was going to take JR back to her and Tad's, saddening Adam. After things with Adam didn't go her way, Erica sought counsel from Palmer.
At ConFusion, Zach met with Samuel Woods and probed him about why he was targeting Erica. Zach didn't get very far in his efforts to get Sam to go
easy on La Kane.... Annie and Amanda downed cocktails to get Annie's mind
off of Ryan. Annie took off her wedding rings and had a nice conversation with a handsome stranger who'd been eyeing her. Zach interrupted and scared the guy off, earning him a tongue-lashing from Annie.
Greenlee brought Ryan to the gazebo, determined to help him get his memory back. She gave him the "greatest hits" version of their marriage. Frustrated that he couldn't recall anything, she planted a big kiss on him...
Friday
Greenlee and Ryan broke from their kiss and headed to the casino, where Zach had taken Annie. A mysterious man caught Zach's attention due to his
unusually high winnings. Ryan grabbed Annie when she went to leave. She agreed to spend some time with her amnesiac husband.
Angie and Tad beseeched Jesse not to risk his safety by remaining at the
hospital, where he was determined to scour his records for clues about his
disappearance. Tad left and Angie and Jesse discovered that his file had
been removed from the property. The Hubbards left and she felt hit hard by
the reality of the furtiveness with which Jesse has had to live for the past
20 years. Angie questioned whether the danger was real or imagined. Tad
returned and told Jesse and Angie that the security footage from Frankie's
room had been swiped. "They know I'm here!" gasped Jesse. Indeed: the man from the casino was watching the footage with a menacing look on his face.
In her hotel room, Kendall and Aidan discussed their guilty consciences and
decided that their friendship was doing just fine. Aidan left Kendall's room and called Greens to invite her to L.A., but she couldn't hear him (the
casino was loud). Kendall took a shower and while she was in the bathroom, someone broke into her room and began caressing her clothing. Kendall re-entered her room in a robe and was freaked out when she realized she wasn't alone. "Can I have your autograph?" asked the creepy man.
Sam met with one of his advisers about the case against Erica. The adviser urged him not to go soft on La Kane.
Erica met with her team about redeeming her image in the wake of her arrest for insider trading. After the meeting, Jack stayed behind and they talked further about her predicament. Opal arrived and after Jack departed, Opal ribbed her about the still obvious chemistry between Erica and her ex. Jack came back to join Erica for the press conference she planned to give; Sam showed up, too. Erica announced that she had broken the law, but
accidentally, and that she was going to go to do the right thing and go to
prison.
