AMC Week of January 14, 2008
Monday
On the rocks, Zach did his best to pull Hannah to safety — but Hannah,
content with the sheer fact that Zach had come to her rescue, decided she
was ready to die and let go of his hand, plummeting to her demise. Zach was
emotionally wrecked by Hannah's death and Kendall had little luck getting
through to him. Greenlee fared better.
Locked together in a closet, Jack and Erica's love and attraction for one
another was obvious. La Kane was encouraged by their close moment but
prickly when Julia called. Jack explained the scrape he was in, so Julia
arrived to free them. Erica had trouble containing her jealousy. Once alone
with Julia, Jack asked her on a bona fide date.
JR and Babe were surprised when Richie showed up on Babe's doorstep to
report that he was now a free man. To JR's dismay, Babe agreed to speak to
Richie privately. She told Richie that she had to stay away from him, but it
was clear that neither JR nor Richie intended to give up the fight for her
affections.
At the penthouse, Ryan was ecstatic to be alive and couldn't keep his hands
off Annie, but something about his behavior was clearly off. Annie was
worried but allowed her hubby to romance her.
Tuesday
Greenlee and Aidan grew closer near the rocks where Leo and Hannah died.
They returned to the penthouse and she set about seducing him. It worked.
Zach rebuffed Kendall's efforts to get her to open up to him about Hannah's
death. Zach admitted that he felt like a failure. After their
heart-to-heart, they made love. Zach had a horrifying nightmare in which he
was unable to save Kendall from dying.
Adam met with Colby at the yacht club and asked her to help him throw them a
wedding reception. She was dubious but he worked to convince her of his
sincerity.
Krystal probed Tad about the "paperwork" he claimed to be doing on his
computer. Turns out, he was planning a honeymoon for them. She resisted the
notion and her reluctance raised a red flag for him. She then surprised him
with a tropical retreat in their living room. Colby arrived home and got Tad
and Krystal to agree to go to dinner at the Valley Inn, just as Adam had
asked. She phoned Adam with an update and said she was proud of him for
trying to turn over a new lead with Tad and Krystal. Adam then phoned an
associate and made it clear that he had something up his sleeve.... Colby
invited Zach, Kendall and Erica to the party for Tad and Krystal.
While Jack was on his date at the yacht club with Julia, a flirty Erica
opened up to her masseur about her woes with Jack. She then met a handsome
stranger.... Julia told Jack that she wanted to open a free clinic at
Wildwind.
Wednesday
The Fusion gang threw an in-office welcome back party for Kendall and
Greenlee. Things remained tense between Amanda and Babe, and Amanda and Ava,
over JR. Babe tried to talk Annie into being tested as a donor match for
Richie, but Annie refused to discuss it. Kendall's guilt about her
indiscretion with Aidan was obvious in her jumpiness around Greenlee. Greens
discovered Kendall's manuscript, Charm, and was intrigued.
Joe told Richie that he was now on a national donor waiting list, but that
Annie was his best bet for recovering from his leukemia. Meanwhile, Ryan met
with Josh to discuss liquidating Cambias assets to fulfill his new yen for
humanitarianism. Richie came over and Ryan told him that he would find him a
donor and pay for his treatment, but that Annie would not be his donor under
any circumstances.
Aidan received a visit from Quentin, who was extremely ill. Aidan summoned
Julia, who examined Quentin despite his resistance.
Colby caught up to Dre as he explored the Chandler manse. They decided to
grab a bite at BJ's to celebrate that his father's private eye had checked
out of town. At BJ's, JR saw Sean and confronted him about Colby. Colby and
Dre arrived and Sean asked to speak to Colby alone. He confessed that he had
hooked up with Hannah before her demise.
Babe was greeted by JR when she returned home. He announced that he had
bought the condo across from hers and that they're now neighbors.
Ryan was ecstatic when Kendall stopped and shocked her with a long and
enthusiastic smooch.
Thursday
Erica was the first to arrive to Adam's surprise "party" for Tad and
Krystal. Erica's date showed up, much to her delight, but he turned out to
be a dud and Adam helped her get rid of him.... Colby was still torn up over
Sean.... Palmer walked in as Adam was proposing to Erica, who turned him
down. Erica was suspicious of Adam's motives for throwing the party for the
newlyweds. She decided to leave to skirt the drama that was sure to come.
Zach came by Fusion to see Greenlee, who was enjoying Kendall's manuscript.
She acknowledged to him that she was feeling very tired and he opened up
about his lingering angst over Hannah's death. After their intimate chat,
Zach left, and Greenlee resumed reading Kendall's book. After finishing it,
she called a contact in the publishing industry and talked up the book as a
surefire best-seller....
Babe and JR exchanged more heated words about Richie. Tad and Krystal showed
up in the midst of their blow-up. Krystal spoke to JR outside while Tad
handled Babe. Following the separate heart-to-hearts, Babe and JR exchanged
apologies. The quartet then departed for the party at the Valley Inn. Colby
greeted them. When they saw Adam, though, Krystal and Tad decided to beat a
hasty retreat.
Richie confronted Annie, demanding that she be tested as a bone marrow donor
for him. When she resisted, he became threatening. She made it clear that
she hadn't decided yet whether she considered his life worth saving. (Hey,
at least it wasn't a firm no!)
Kendall was thrown by Ryan's enthusiastic greeting. She thanked him for
saving her life; he returned the sentiment, noting that he was a new man
since being shot in the head. Zach came by to get Kendall as they were due
at Tad and Krystal's party. Annie then let Ryan know that she had a romantic
surprise in store for him that night.
Friday
Quentin was upset with Aidan for insisting that he check in to the hospital.
While Julia tended to Quentin, Aidan checked in with Greenlee by phone. He
balked when she asked him to hang out that night with her, Kendall and Zach
but agreed for Greens's sake.... Opal thought she recognized Quentin when
she came into his room. Julia noted that he knew a lot about medicine. He
was evasive.... Joe was excited to welcome the special colleague he had
summoned to consult on Quentin's case. When Joe came in to meet Quentin, he
was stunned.
At the Valley Inn, the group Adam had assembled reacted badly to the news
that he had locked them in (and locked Krystal out with himself). Krystal,
meanwhile, blasted Adam for his machinations. Adam said he had a lead on
where Tad could find Kate, which Krystal dismissed as cruel garbage. Adam
vowed that he would reveal Kate's whereabouts if Krystal came back to
him.... Zach offered a job to JR, which he snubbed.... The door opened and
Krystal came into the dining room and laid a passionate kiss on Tad. They
quickly mounted a renewal of vows, which Adam suffered through in agony.
Zach offered up a lovely toast to the happy couple that included a pointed
dig at Adam, Chandler's CEO once again. Kendall wanted them to abandon their
showdown. Colby cried on Dre's shoulder about her dad's betrayal. JR reeled
from the news that Adam had reacquired Chandler. Babe was impressed when JR
said he would never work for his dad again. Zach warned Adam to back off
when Adam deliberately pushed his buttons about Hannah. When Adam ignored
him, Zach grabbed Adam by the throat. Tad and Krystal prepared to leave the
Inn. Tad was surprised when he encountered his old friend, Angie.
Annie whisked Ryan off on a romantic adventure. Things heated up quickly —
until he called her Kendall in the midst of their passionate encounter.
