In her living room, Kendall confided in Bianca, Erica, and Opal about her David-related nightmares. Erica pooh-poohed Kendall's worry and changed the subject to her wedding. Erica didn't want Caleb to be invited. Bianca privately called out Erica for being attracted to Caleb. Opal revealed to La Kane that she had been eavesdropping. Erica downplayed what was going on between her and Caleb. At Krystal's, she admitted to Opal that she and Caleb had kissed.
Liza told a comatose David about sleeping with Damon. Griffin entered and reported that David was being moved to a different facility. Griffin left; Colby entered to ask Liza for help with repairing her relationship with Damon. Meanwhile, Tad and Damon discussed Damon's plans to leave Pine Valley.
Erica went to see Liza to discuss the charges against her for David's shooting. Liza told Erica that she wanted to focus on Colby. Tad arrived and defended Erica to Liza. Liza decided to drop the charges. Tad praised her for doing the right thing.
Damon went to the Chandler mansion to see Colby. Colby was eager to work things out; Damon gently insisted that it was too late, as much as he loved her. He sidestepped her questions about the identity of the woman he had bedded.
At the penthouse, Ryan and Greenlee discussed his upcoming trip to California to investigate Zach's possible murder. Greens urged her beloved to be careful, then went to visit Kendall, telling her that she had initiated her divorce from David. Greens was happy to hear that Kendall planned to be a part of Greenlee and Ryan's wedding. Ryan called Greens with an update from California; she had to conceal the nature of Ryan's trip to Kendall. Kendall urged Greens to join her hubby-to-be on his excursion. Greens decided to go to California.
Kendall went for a check-up with Griffin. She thanked him for arranging for her to go home to her boys. Griffin was concerned about Kendall's visions of David. He encouraged Kendall to sleep in her own bed and not on the couch, as she had been doing. Kendall opened up to Griffin about Zach. Griffin reminded Kendall that Zach would want her to take care of herself. Back at home, Kendall decided to try to sleep in her bed.
Ryan met with an NTSB (National Transportation Safety Board) agent who explained that Zach's crash had been caused by a faulty valve, not foul play. Ryan thought back to Zach's crash and was stunned when Greenlee showed up. The agent placed a mysterious call, telling someone that he had squelched any further digging into Zach's death. Ryan told Greens about his meeting with the agent.
On the beach, near the site of Zach's plane crash, Ryan spoke to an investigator for the National Transportation Safety Board. The NTSB agent explained that the crash had been a result of a malfunctioning fuel selector valve. The NTSB agent handed the item in question to Ryan. Ryan couldn't believe that something small enough to fit in the palm of his hand had caused Zach's death. The NTSB agent admitted that his boss had told him about Ryan's suspicions of foul-play, so he wondered if Ryan considered the findings a good thing.
Erica went into David's room and told him that he would never again hurt her or anyone she loved. She turned to leave, but stopped when David called out her name.
Tuesday
Amanda wondered to Jake if it was healthy for her to hang out with Annie given her own family history.
Griffin and Cara discussed her immigration status. Amanda overheard and came clean about having placed the call in Cara's name. They berated her and left.
The police commissioner warned Jesse that he was wise to Brot and Natalia's relationship.
Brot kissed a sleeping Nat and ducked out of the room. Nat woke up alone and jumped to the wrong conclusion about his exit. She fled herself. Brot ran into Jesse at Krystal's. Brot gushed about his feelings for Natalia. Jesse couldn't bring himself to burst Brot's bubble with the bad news from the commissioner. Angie called Jesse to tell him that she'd had some complications with her pregnancy and would have to stay in California for a while. Brot went back to the hotel with breakfast for Natalia and was confused as to why she'd left. Nat went to Krystal's and snapped at Brot when he entered, but he silenced her with a kiss. The other diners applauded. Brot and Natalia returned to the hotel and tore each other's clothes off.
Bianca reported to Kendall that the charges against Erica had been dropped. Binks expressed her reservations about Jack and Erica marrying and Kendall realized that Binks was thinking of Reese. Kendall thought Bianca should make Reese come to town. Binks sighed that she just wasn't sure they were meant to be. Kendall tried to get Bianca to promise that she'd force Binks to buy a plane ticket.
Caleb told Jack that the charges had been dropped. Jack said that his services as her attorney were no longer needed and Caleb exited. Jack went to tell Bianca and Kendall the good news, but they'd already heard. No one knew where Erica was. Jack got a call and had to leave.
David uttered Erica's name, stopping her in her tracks. He told her to wait before getting a doctor. She told him he'd been in a coma for a while and started to fill him in when doctors rushed in. Griffin kicked Erica out of David's room. Caleb, whom Erica had summoned, showed up. Griffin told his mentor/patient about the surgery he'd survived. Erica returned to David's room and told him that she was the one who'd shot him. "We both know that is a lie," countered David. He claimed to remember that it was Kendall who shot him. Jesse showed up and told Erica to leave so that she could question David. She cautioned Jesse not to believe anything David said. She then told Caleb, "He knows!" Griffin called Kendall to let her know that David was awake. Kendall promised Bianca that she would see a counselor. Binks was pleased when Kendall said she was ready to sleep in her own bed. Meanwhile, Jesse delighted in telling David that Liza had dropped the charges against Erica. Griffin forbade Jesse from continuing to interrogate David. Jack arrived and interrupted Caleb and Erica's conversation. He asked Caleb for a word. Jack thought David might pressure Liza to reinstate the charges. Caleb assured Jack that if that happened, he would once again represent Erica. Erica went to Kendall's and Bianca told La Kane that Kendall knew David was awake. Though Kendall was supposed to be upstairs sleeping, she had actually slipped out and gone to David's room. "I'm very happy to see you," he told her.
Jake spoke to the parents of a young cancer patient. An emotional Cara overheard and warned the parents against making their child a prisoner because of her illness. Griffin pulled her away. Jake followed to demand an explanation about Cara's outburst. Jake later found Cara at Krystal's and again questioned the forcefulness of her reaction to the parents. Cara avoided him. Jesse told Jake that Angie needed him to fill in for her at the hospital.
Griffin told Amanda that David was out of the coma. Amanda apologized again for invading Cara's privacy. Amanda decided to be honest with Jake, even though Griffin told her that she should let it lie.
Wednesday
There was no new episode today. Tune in tomorrow!
Thursday
Greenlee and Ryan made love at the castle. Ryan proffered an engagement ring. "I want a prenup," she teased. "The usual?" he teased back. He slipped the ring on her finger. Jack texted them to let them know that David was awake.
An upset Marissa told JR that David was awake. JR consoled her and invited her to stay over at the mansion again. Marissa left. JR praised Marissa to AJ. JR seemed torn about his feelings for his soon-to-be-ex-wife.
Jack joined Bianca and Erica at Kendall's. Erica said she was going to the hospital to see David. Jack tried to dissuade her and accused her of shutting him out. Bianca rushed back into the room, having discovered that Kendall wasn't upstairs. Erica went in search of her daughter. Jack went to Krystal's, who was shaken up by news of David's condition. Jack vented about Erica and admitted that he thought something was going on between her and Caleb. Krystal comforted him.
Kendall sneaked into David's room. "We have a lot to talk about," he grinned. Kendall hissed that David should die for killing Zach. Griffin entered as David called out Kendall for trying to murder him. Confusion ensued, as David was talking about the shooting and Kendall and Griffin were talking about the pillow incident. Griffin told David about Kendall's recent heart trouble. Griffin pulled Kendall into the hall to chastise her for playing fast and loose with her health. Jesse entered David's room and began to question him about the night of the shooting. David stonewalled him. Jesse left. Erica returned and told David she didn't want Kendall to know the truth about the shooting. David insisted that he didn't cause Zach's plane crash. Erica tried to play on David's sympathies. David told Erica he enjoyed it when she needed something from him. Kendall and Griffin grew (somewhat) closer.
Marissa went to the hospital and spoke to Jesse about David and announced that she would be her father's lawyer.
Friday
Scott showed up at the hospital to report to his new job but was
disappointed when Jake said he will be a data entry clerk. After being a
corporate CEO, Scott felt that the new job title was beneath him. Later, he
encountered Madison, who urged him to make the most of this second chance.
Scott and Madison then exchanged playful banter, bordering on flirtation.
At Krystal's, Greenlee and Ryan announced to Jack and Erica that they are
engaged. Kisses and hugs were exchanged, as Greens recounted Ryan's romantic
proposal. "We found each other again," he declared. Jack asked his daughter
if they set a date yet but she insisted that she didn't want to upstage his
and Erica's nups. Jack uneasily admitted that they haven't set a date either
and Erica explained that delays kept cropping up for them. Jack urged
Greenlee and Ryan to plan their wedding.
Krystal was surprised to hear from Marissa that she is going to represent
David. Marissa hoped this experience would motivate her dad to change for
the better. Meanwhile, David snatched Griffin's cell phone. Marissa came in
and offered to be his lawyer if he turns his life around. "I don't know why
I care so much about what happens to you, but I do," she confessed. David
was surprised and accepted her legal help. After Marissa left, David called Erica and ordered her to convince Greenlee to see
him. Erica dutifully suggested to Greenlee that she confront David, which
upset Jack. Greens agreed and headed to the hospital.... Kendall was
surprised to learn from Ryan that he had done his own investigation into
Zach's plane crash and determined that it was indeed an accident.
Cara observed that Kendall seemed to be doing better emotionally and the
Widow Slater agreed. Later, Kendall walked into Krystal's and spotted
Greenlee's engagement right. Greens was nervous at first but Kendall offered
heartfelt congratulations and seemed genuinely happy for her pals.
Erica complained to Caleb that David was already starting to blackmail her.
Caleb advised her to confide in Jack but, for now, she wanted to proceed
carefully for Kendall's sake.... Ricky visited Kendall about volunteering
for charity and she tearfully admitted to having trouble accepting Ryan and
Greenlee's happiness.... Greenlee walked into David's hospital room and he
was happy to see her but the feeling wasn't mutual. He noticed she was
wearing a new ring.... In front of Ryan, Scott pretended that he and Madison
were an item now. She appreciated the charade.... As Cara and Griffin went
out for lunch, she teased him for going soft with Kendall. Cara got serious
and told her brother that he didn't have to worry about her anymore, which
made Griffin tear up. He realized he misplaced his keys and went off to look
for them. Jake happened by and seemed glad to see Cara but had to hurry off
to meet with his wife. Meanwhile, Griffin spied Ricky and Kendall sharing a
warm moment.
