AMC Week of July 14, 2008
Monday
Jesse brought Zach to the site of Richie's death, explaining that he'd only
handcuffed Zach because he wanted his help. Jesse shared with Zach his
theory that Richie died before he was struck by the car and resolved to
visit Richie's body again for more clues.
Ryan panicked as he observed Greenlee get knocked unconscious on the
sailboat. As Ryan sped to Greens's aid, he was flooded with memories of his
missing four years and realized that he is in love with Greenlee. He
accompanied Greens to the hospital and was relieved to hear that Greens
would make a full recovery. When Greenlee regained consciousness, Ryan
stopped short of declaring his love for her when she declared her love
— for
Aidan.
Tad and Krystal butted heads over Tad capitulating to Kathy's desire not to
go to the first day of camp. Krystal was worried that Tad was coddling the
little girl. Carmen dropped by the house to discuss Adam. She privately
assured Krystal that she wouldn't tell Tad about the Adam/Krystal kiss she
witnessed. While Tad talked Kathy into going to the camp the next day,
Krystal filled in Carmen about Adam. Tad rejoined the duo and bristled at
Krystal's in-depth knowledge about Adam. He challenged Krystal's knowledge
about him; she passed the test.
At Fusion, Kendall blasted Annie for implicating Zach to the cops. She went
to the police station and was surprised to learn that Zach hadn't been
brought in by Jesse.... Annie got a call that brought her to the morgue....
Jesse and Zach returned to the station and Kendall was relieved to hear that
her husband wasn't under arrest. Jesse phoned the morgue and freaked out
upon hearing that Richie's body was no longer there.... Annie went to pick
up Richie's cremated remains.
Pete confronted Colby, Cassandra and Dre about the blood he found on the
fender of Colby's car. The teens tried to throw Petey off the scent but
Petey remained suspicious. He revealed to the other teens that he'd tested
the blood on the fender and knew that it was human blood. "It totally
belongs to Richie Novack, doesn't it?" Petey asked. Dre lunged for him but
backed off when Petey promised not to say anything. Pete seemed intent on
using his knowledge to make headway with Colby, on whom he has a crush.
Tuesday
Annie insisted to Jesse that she'd had Richie cremated to comply with her
father's wishes. Annie was flustered when Jesse questioned her again about
her final encounters with her brother. Once alone, Annie apologized to her
brother's remains. She heard his voice telling her she'd never get away with
it.
At the hospital, Greenlee told Aidan that she loved him and forgave him.
Ryan, meanwhile, tried not to show his devastation while chatting with Jake,
but when he caught a glimpse of Aidan and Greenlee together, his heartbreak
was clear. Ryan returned home and played with Emma, sharing his newly
regained memories with her.... Jake gave Greens the go-ahead to check out of
the hospital. Greens was moved when Aidan presented her with her missing
stuffed tiger. The reunited duo returned home and got passionate.
Fletcher came to the Hubbard house looking for Randi and encountered an
outraged Angie. Frankie arrived and shooed Fletcher away. Angie flipped out
on her son for bringing pimps and prostitutes into their midst. Frank told
Angie that he wasn't going to give up on Randi.... Angie and Jesse met up at
the police station, where Randi was hauled in on solicitation charges.
At the mansion, Adam busted Colby and Cassandra in a lie they concocted to
cover their Richie-mowing tracks. Colby confessed to Adam that on her
birthday, she'd gotten drunk at the lodge. Before long, she had blurted out,
"It was an accident! We didn't mean to kill him!" She explained what had
happened that night. Adam praised them for their brave honesty and pulled
Colby aside for a private chat. "Throw your buddies under the bus," he
advised. Colby refused, telling Adam that Dre was in the process of
confessing all to his dad.
Dre met up with Samuel at the club and tried to come clean with him about
what had happened at the lodge. Dre lost his nerve when Sam got a call
informing him that his numbers were down in the latest polls and that his
campaign couldn't withstand any more negative publicity. Dre went back to
the manse and was stunned to find out that the other teens had told Adam
about what happened that night. Adam assured the teens that everything would
be fine, then called Barry and told him to make Colby's new car disappear.
Adam then phoned the cops to report the car stolen.
Wednesday
At the Slater house, Kendall shared her thoughts on Annie's recent behavior
with Zach, declaring Ryan's wife to be "skittish" and "all over the place."
Zach was more interested in knowing if Kendall thinks he killed Richie. She
assured him of her faith in him. Once alone, Zach made a mysterious phone
call.
Samuel surprised Erica at the prison with the news that she was being
released early on account of her good behavior. She refused on the grounds
that his supporters would find it suspect but quickly changed her tune and
celebrated the good news of her freedom. Erica encountered a threatening
inmate who claimed that Erica had ruined her life.
At the Chandler manse, Colby couldn't get the night of Richie's death off
her mind. JR and Babe could tell something was amiss. JR accused Colby of
having a drinking problem. She took offense and rebuffed his concern. JR
excused himself to take a call and Babe urged Colby to open up to her about
her troubles. Later, Colby sucked down a glass of alcohol.
At BJ's, Cassandra and Dre discussed Adam's plan to make the whole running
over Richie business go away. Dre told Cassie that if anyone ever finds out
the truth, he intended to take the fall. She protested. Dre let Cassie know
how much he cares about her.
Ryan came home and told Annie that his memory had fully returned. She was
disbelieving at first but he convinced her with a slew of recovered
anecdotes. Ryan did not inform her that he was in love with Greenlee. Emma
came downstairs and her folks explained that Richie was gone. Annie felt
nauseous and Ryan tended to her. They were mid-cuddle when Zach called,
demanding to meet Annie in 20 minutes at Cambias. A jumpy Annie fibbed about
her destination to Ryan and left the house. Ryan ran into Kendall at BJ's
and filled her in on Greenlee's accident. As they chatted, Kendall figured
out Ryan's secret: He's in love with Greens. Kendall told Ryan to tell
Greens; he explained that Greens was back with Aidan. Ryan swore Kendall to
secrecy despite her serious reservations.... Zach and Annie met up at
Cambias. Zach confronted Annie with her wedding ring.
Greenlee and Aidan basked in the afterglow on the living room floor. Jake
walked in and Greens stopped him from bolting, wanting the three of them to
be roommates. Aidan and Jake got off to a pretty good start as cohabitants.
Kendall stopped by and told Greens she had something to tell her about Ryan.
Thursday
Annie feigned shock upon Zach presenting her with the wedding ring she'd
pawned. He called her out, but she denied having sold the trinket. When
pressed, Annie admitted that she sold her ring to get cash to give to
Richie. She copped to it, while admitting oh, say, 1000 pertinent and
incriminating details, but he didn't buy it. Annie heard Richie's voice
taunting her and collapsed.
Ryan and Tad chatted at the yacht club. Ryan told Tad about having his
memory back and fibbed to Tad that all was now well. Tad philosophized about
how his own reversed amnesia had affected his life. They raced boats in the
water and Ryan beat Tad handily.
Kendall informed Greenlee that Ryan's memory was back. Greens jumped to the
wrong conclusion that Ryan remembered loving Annie. Kendall ranted and raved
about Annie incriminating Zach to Jesse. Greens advocated cutting Annie some
slack. She then informed Kendall that she had forgiven her and the friends
shared a tender moment. Later, Greenlee bumped into Ryan and chirped,
"Kendall told me!"
Frank purchased time with Randi in order to try to get through to the
troubled woman. As she attempted to give him his money's worth, he tried to
get her to open up. Randi became upset and told him to back off.
Angie and Jesse discussed the Frank/Randy situation, which had Angie upset.
Jesse managed to calm his wife down.
Friday
Palmer and Pete caught up at the Valley Inn. Palmer didn't approve of Pete's
plan to delay matriculation at Harvard. Adam joined them and, once alone
with Pete, threatened to ruin his life if he didn't keep his mouth shut
about the blood on Colby's car.
Jack visited Erica at the prison to celebrate her imminent release. Jack
praised Sam for helping Erica get out early. Erica tried to absorb that she
could actually go home that day, then was surprised by a going-away party
thrown by her grateful sister inmates. Erica was about to leave when she was
confronted by a rather imposing convict who held a knife to her throat....
At Fusion, Ryan was relieved when Greens made it clear that Kendall had not
blurted out his secret (that he's in love with Greenlee). Zach called to
summon Ryan to the hospital, where he'd taken a collapsed Annie. Jake
examined Annie and learned that she was pregnant, which Annie had pretended
couldn't be possible because "Ryan had a vasectomy." Ryan and Greens showed
up and Greens told Zach that she and Aidan had reconciled. Ryan then asked
Zach to tell him the truth about why he'd met earlier with Zach. "Annie's
got secrets, her and Richie," offered Zach.... Annie physically attacked
Greenlee when Greens mentioned that she'd talked to Ryan about her. A shaken
Greens was about to tell Ryan when Jake said Annie had news for him. She
settled for telling Zach instead.... Annie told Ryan that she was expecting.
Tad visited Jesse at the police station and they discussed Tad's
post-retirement boredom and the Richie Novack case. Jesse found out that
Richie's body had been run over and that the car it belonged to had been
purchased by someone they knew (Adam). Jesse went to see Adam about how his
car came to mow down Richie.
