Monday

Adam and JR discussed Adam's claim to love Annie. When Annie returned home, she spotted Adam boogieing in the living room with JR. She ran smack into Scott and threw herself into his arms, claiming that she needed his help. Annie claimed that she'd just gone for a walk and Scott agreed to put her ankle monitor back on her. JR and Adam finished bickering and Adam returned to the parlor in time to see Scott aiding Annie. He demanded to know what was going on. Scott fibbed that he was helping Annie because she had twisted her ankle, then excused himself. Annie then told the truth to Adam, beaming that Scott had passed her trust test. She then told Adam that Emma saw who killed his brother. Adam immediately wanted to contact the police and inform them that someone had seen Kendall pulling the trigger. Annie deliberately
removed her ankle monitor so that the police would come. Annie told them that she would give him what he needs to convict Stuart's killer if he would get the charges against her dropped. She disclosed that Emma had been an eyewitness. Willis told her that she would have her deal when he convicted Kendall.

In Emma's room, Emma told Annie that she had told Ryan about seeing Kendall kill Stuart. Annie gave Emma a cell phone before sneaking out to avoid detection by Ryan. Ryan and Erica entered Emma's room and Emma denied that Annie had been there. Ryan bought it until he saw the open window. Erica noted to Ryan that Annie had obviously been there and had made Emma lie about it.

Zach tried to talk Kendall out of confessing to the murder. Liza showed up and warned the Slaters that she thinks Annie is on the loose. Liza was stunned when Kendall announced that she is ready to confess. Kendall believed that this was the best way to get Annie to admit that she killed Stuart. After telling Willis that they were taking the plea, an emotional Kendall realized that this was her last night at home. Liza left and Zach tried to console Kendall. Erica and Ryan showed up and told Zach and Kendall that they were taking Emma out of town. Erica flipped when Kendall broke the news that she had taken the plea bargain but failed to talk her out of it. Kendall went upstairs to be with her sons. Erica followed and offered her support to her daughter. Downstairs, Ryan laid into Zach for letting Kendall take the plea bargain. Zach denied that he was responsible for Kendall's decision. Later, Zach put his arm around Kendall as she cried in the living room, and Erica and Ryan returned to the penthouse and discussed how to explain to Emma that the picture she thinks is in her head was planted there by Annie. Erica tried to assuage Ryan's fears about Emma's sanity.... Zach promised Kendall that everything would be okay and embraced her.

Marissa and David dined at ConFusion. She told David that she wants him to get back together with Krystal. David tried to convince her that he's not good for her mother. David excused himself when Liza showed up to tell Marissa that Kendall is taking the plea bargain. After their meeting, David returned and joined Liza at her table. She opened up to David about what it felt like to have been alone for so long. David was clearly intrigued by Liza.

At Chandler, Scott defended Annie to JR. Marissa arrived to tell them about Kendall. JR refused to believe that Kendall was guilty, despite the fact that she was taking the plea.

Tuesday

At ConFusion, Marian blasted Liza for taking Kendall's case. Scott
intervened and defended Liza. Marian was unmoved when Liza said that she took the case for the sake of her baby. After she left, Scott gently told Marian that they had to pack up Stuart's stuff, which they were donating to charity. Marian said she wasn't ready to go back to the house where Stuart was killed.

At Ryan's penthouse, Emma was bummed that Ryan was keeping her home from camp, but Erica stressed the importance to Ryan of keeping Emma close to home. Ryan assured Erica that everything would be okay. Their closeness continued to deepen. After La Kane left, Ryan broached the subject of Emma's secret with his daughter. Emma made a slip that made Ryan think she had talked to her mom again. Ryan beseeched Emma to tell him if she sees her mom again.

At the Slater house, Zach and Kendall spent what looked to be Kendall's last morning of freedom together. They tenderly discussed where things stood between them. Kendall redeclared her love for Zach. Liza came by to bring Kendall to her meeting with Willis. When Zach embraced Kendall, Liza seemed pained. Erica, Zach, Kendall and Liza arrived at the courthouse. Willis said
that the deal was off the table; because of a new eyewitness, they were going to trial for murder one. Zach accosted Willis and had to be talked down. Liza asked Zach and Kendall to leave so that she could confer with Willis, but he refused to budge. Erica whispered to Kendall that she and Ryan were going to take care of Emma, then left. Liza broke the bad news to Zach and Kendall that Willis was determined to pursue a murder one conviction. Marian then showed up and slapped Kendall, calling her a murderer. Once back at home, Kendall lamented to Zach that Annie was using Emma to save her own hide.... Erica went to see Ryan again and told him
about the latest with Willis. When Willis phoned, Erica implored Ryan to get Emma out of town immediately. Willis came to the penthouse and no one was there; Ryan and Erica had taken her to a secure location. Kendall showed up there and ran to Emma, telling her that she had to tell the truth about what she had seen. "I didn't shoot Stuart," she insisted. "Your mother did."

At the Chandler manse, Annie and Adam were stunned when JR announced that Kendall was taking the plea. JR accused Annie of letting Kendall take the fall for her. Adam apologized to Annie for JR's outburst. Annie then blurted out that Kendall was ruining everything; by pleading guilty, the info she gave to Willis in exchange for her freedom was useless. Adam reassured her that everything would work out and she thanked him for all that he had given her. After he left, Annie fantasized about marrying Adam. In her reverie, Kendall interrupted the nups, clad in prison gear, to lash out at Annie for letting her go to jail when she knows that Kendall is innocent. Scott's arrival brought Annie back to reality. Scott explained that he was there to get Stuart's stuff from the attic. Annie tried to stop him from going up there. She then offered to help him pack up Stuart's belongings. Scott and Annie bonded in the attic.... Adam met with Willis, who assured him that the deal he'd made with Annie still stood. Willis advised Adam to make sure that Annie continues with therapy. He gave Annie's psychiatric records to Adam as a warning.... Still in the attic, Annie had a memory of the night of the murder. Annie kept eyeing a cloth on the ground, but had to go downstairs because Adam was calling for her. Adam saw Stuart's fishing pole, which Scott brought downstairs, and Adam promised Scott that he would take him fishing. Adam then told Annie that her deal with Willis was still good; Annie was ecstatic that she would soon be free. Liza went back upstairs and remembered more of the night of the murder. In it, Emma told her, "I saw, Mommy, I saw!" To which Annie responded, "If you love me, you have to forget what you saw." Meanwhile, Adam reviewed Annie's disturbing file, including her journal from her time in the psych ward. Zach then showed up and asked if Kendall was there. Adam said she wasn't and refused also to tell him where Annie was. Zach threatened Annie.

Marissa saw JR at the yacht club and they discussed the situation with Kendall, Adam and Annie. JR admitted to Marissa that he's a control freak. Scott came to the yacht club and JR apologized for having lashed out at him. Marissa told JR and Scott that she had just gotten a call and the plea bargain was off.

At the Martin house, Tad encountered a jumpy Jake. Amanda entered with the baby and Jake introduced Tad to Trevor. As Tad processed the fact that Jake had given a baby to Liza that wasn't Amanda's son, Taylor entered and innocent asked who the baby was. They brought Taylor in on the situation. Taylor told Jake and Amanda about her breakup. Taylor volunteered to watch Trevor to keep him safe from David. They gave Taylor infant care lessons but were forced to scramble and hide Trevor when Liza showed up wanting to probe Tad about his recovered memories from the night of the murder. She heard the baby crying and asked about it.

Wednesday

Willis showed up at the Lavery penthouse. Jesse arrived and Willis explained that Emma is an eyewitness to Stuart's murder. Jesse cautioned Willis against taking stock in anything Annie says. Adam revealed to Annie that he had read her files and her journal from Oak Haven. Annie was upset at his appearent loss of faith in her but her words of devotion moved him.

Liza showed up at the Martins unexpectedly and heard baby Trevor crying. Amanda, Jake and Taylor tried to keep the baby hidden and Tad pretended to remember more about the night of the murder to distract her. His wild rantings prompted Liza to suggest that he needs professional help. Tad kissed Liza to allow his hidden guests to escape. Back at Taylor's, Taylor and Jake assured Amanda that the baby would be fine there. Tad met them there with baby supplies. With difficulty, Amanda handed the baby off to Taylor. Tad offered to stay and help Taylor babysit. They had a blast with
the baby, while back at home, Amanda's heart hurt to be separated from her son and Jake did his best to comfort her. She reiterated her gratitude to him for bringing her baby back to her.

At the Chandler manse, Annie told Zach that she wasn't afraid of him. The cops arrived and Jesse arrested Zach for trespassing. At the station, Jesse insisted to Willis that Zach doesn't know where Emma is. Jesse told Zach that he shares his belief that Annie is using Emma to set up Kendall. Zach made a remark about Randi. Liza arrived and Willis grilled her about Emma's whereabouts.... Jesse returned to the manse and Annie laid into him for not taking Emma's account seriously. Jesse told Annie that he's on her side and wants to help her. The phone rang (it was Emma calling). "Do you want to get that?" Jesse remarked to Annie.

Kendall barged into the safehouse where Ryan and Erica had taken Emma and implored the little girl to admit that Annie shot Stuart. Ryan pulled Kendall away. Kendall apologized for scaring Emma. Emma insisted that she wasn't lying. While Erica spoke to Kendall, Ryan scolded Kendall for her behavior and insisted that he would not push Emma. Erica encouraged Kendall to go home, assuring her that she could trust Ryan to handle Emma. Emma stuck to her story when Ryan rejoined her.

Zach and Kendall caught up at their house. Kendall said that she had gone to see Emma and it hadn't gone well. Zach was upset with her for continuing to screw up her own defense. Kendall, however, was determined to prove that Emma is lying. Liza came over and wanted to speak to Emma herself, thinking they could beat Annie at her own game.

Thursday

At the Slater house, Zach, Liza and Kendall discussed the Emma situation. After Liza left, Zach told Kendall that he thought Ryan should do what was best for Emma and that they needed to get the truth out of Annie, not Emma.

At the safehouse, Erica assured Ryan that Emma would be fine. In her room, Emma picked up Erica's cell phone, which she had stashed, and called Annie, who was in the Chandler parlor with Jesse. Adam entered and Annie was surprised to see Erica's name on the Caller ID. When Annie answered, she realized it was Emma calling and was forced to hang up. Jesse claimed to Annie that he's on her side but after he left, Annie made it clear that she was dubious. Adam excused himself. Ryan found the phone in Emma's possession and confronted his daughter. Erica called the last number on it and reached a fuming Annie, who accused her of brainwashing Emma. Ryan got on the phone to reiterate the accusation. Ryan then came to agree with Erica's assessment
that Annie is messing with Emma's head. Adam returned to the parlor and Annie told him that she was afraid of what testifying would do to Emma. Adam asked Annie if she had put any ideas into Emma's head about what had happened the night of the murder, a charge Annie denied.

Randi tried to conceal from Frankie how shaken she was when she received a bookend in the mail like the one she believed she had used to bash in Henry's head. Frank assured Randi that he is excited about the baby but their kissing was interrupted by Brot, who dropped by with flowers. Randi excused herself and Frank showed Brot the text he got, accusing Randi of being pregnant by another man. Brot dismissed the text as absurd and Frank agreed to drop the matter.... Randi slipped off to see Jesse, telling him about the bookend. Jesse promised to handle Madison. Suddenly, Randi doubled over in intense pain. Jesse raced her to the hospital. Frank met her there, confused as to why Randi had been with Jesse, but Jesse sent him in to see his wife. Frank rushed to Randi's side. She seemed poised to confess to him what had been causing her stress....

Ryan arrived at the manse to see Annie. He urged Annie to get Emma to change her story, offending Annie. She called him out about having shot his own brother once upon a time but Ryan was unruffled. Annie threw him out. Later, as she babbled to Adam about what had happened with Ryan, he had a flashback to the night of the murder in which she told Emma never to tell anyone what she had seen. He told her that he remembered what she had told Emma in the attic. He picked up a gun. "You killed him, didn't you," he blared.

Liza showed up at the safehouse to see Ryan about Emma; Ryan wasn't there. Erica tried to block Liza's path to Emma. Ultimately, Erica allowed Liza to ask Emma some questions.... Erica called the Slaters to alert Zach to Liza's presence. He headed out to the safehouse, ordering Kendall to remain home.... Emma stuck to her story during Liza's interrogation. Zach arrived to drag Liza away. He returned to the room where Emma and Erica were hanging out. Erica left so that Zach could gently question Emma. Emma accused Zach of wanting her to say that she didn't see Kendall with the gun. Ryan returned to the safehouse and became upset when he saw Liza there and learned that Zach was in with his daughter. Just as Emma was about to open up to Zach, Ryan barged in and told him to leave.

Alone at home, Kendall flashed back to the night of the murder. She then received a visit from the ghost of Stuart, who told her that he was there to help her.

Friday

Adam pointed a gun at Annie and accused her of killing his brother. Annie denied it and pointed out the ridiculousness of his theory. He apologized and put down the gun. She said she didn't know if she could forgive him.

At home, Kendall received a visit from Stuart's ghost. He said he was there to help her. Stuart helped her remember more about the night of Stuart's death. Kendall recalled seeing Emma. "Oh, my God!" gasped Kendall. "Did I do it?" She raced to the Chandler manse and, weeping, told Adam that she was "so sorry about your brother." She then ran off, leaving Adam and Annie flummoxed.

Ryan ordered Zach away from Emma, who had been on the verge of confiding in Zach. Ryan told Zach and Liza to get out. Before leaving with Liza, Zach stressed to Erica that Emma needs to tell someone the truth and urged Erica to try to get Emma to open up.... Ryan found Emma unresponsive. Erica tried to get through to her but Emma remained silent. Erica then tried to console Ryan, who was worried about his daughter. Erica thought that Emma should see a therapist.... On the way back to Pine Valley, Zach insisted to Liza that Kendall is innocent. When he got home and learned that Kendall had left, Zach was upset. Adam phoned Zach to tell him about Kendall's visit. Adam then told Annie to call Willis and to tell him that he had something for him. Willis came when summoned and Adam showed him security footage of Kendall's bizarre visit. Annie gulped upon learning that Adam had installed hidden cameras.

At the hospital, Marissa not-so-covertly set David and Krystal up to encounter each other. Krystal told David that she couldn't trust him again. After he left and Marissa returned, Krystal told her daughter that playing matchmaker wouldn't work because she and David are just plain bad for each other. Marissa didn't want to accept that.

In her hospital room, Angie and Randi grew closer. Natalia met up with Frankie and Jesse, who were worried about Randi. Natalia questioned Jesse about why he'd been acting so serious of late. He pooh-poohed her concern then excused himself when he saw Madison in the hallway, asking her what the hell she was doing there. Jesse told her to hush when she made reference to the bookend from North's hotel room. Angie was suspicious when she found them talking in the hall. Angie told Jesse that she doesn't think North's death was an accident.... While with Frankie in her room, Randi had another sharp attack of pain.... Zach told Jesse where he could find Emma. Jesse and Natalia went off in search of the little girl but the cabin was empty. Ryan rushed Emma to the hospital with Erica, telling Angie that Emma needs help.

David went to Liza's. Colby was babysitting Stuart. David heard the baby crying and said that it didn't sound normal. He went to check on the child. Marissa arrived at Liza's, followed shortly by Liza herself. Liza was surprised to find David there. She told him that she wasn't in the market for friends. David said that he thinks they are very similar and observed that she doesn't seem afraid of him.

Kendall told Zach that she shot Stuart.
