AMC Week of June 14, 2010
Monday
At the wedding reception, Liza brushed off Tad to steal Colby away from Damon, who didn't want to hear another lecture from her mom about her beau. When Damon antagonized Liza about the racy pics on his phone, Liza slapped the phone out of his hand. Tad tried to get her to cool down and kissed her; the teens took the opportunity to sneak out and go to the park and talked about the future. Liza and Tad arrived and Colby told her mom that she had decided to wait for her first time with Damon until they are in a more serious relationship. Tad brought Liza home and Damon walked in on them making out. Damon went upstairs and texted one of the racy pics to Liza's phone. When she got it, she was so rattled that she cut the evening short, baffling Tad.
At the police station, David denied to Ryan and Jesse that he knew anything about Erica's whereabouts. Greenlee demanded to speak to her hubby alone. David cautioned Greenlee about the importance of keeping her mouth shut. Jesse tossed Greens out and Ryan grilled her but she clammed up and asked him about them walking down the aisle together at the wedding. Ryan insisted that he hadn't been in on Jake and Amanda's matchmaking. Ryan beseeched Greens to remember that David is not the only one who cares about her. To Jesse, David stuck to his story of being in the dark about the fate of Erica's plane. Jesse had no choice but to release David, then summoned Greenlee back inside for questioning. Greenlee covered to Jesse but revealed that David had learned that Erica's plane had taken off but not landed. David took Greens to Krystal's and assured her that they would be okay. She told him she wanted to be alone that night.
At a hospital in the mountains, Jack and Krystal met with a cop who was searching for Erica. Jack feared the worst and asked to see a woman who had been found with severe head injuries. It wasn't Erica. Krystal comforted Jack before he spied another unidentified patient, whom Jack instantly recognized as Erica's pilot. The pilot had been unconscious for weeks and was unable to assist an increasingly agitated Jack. "Erica," gasped the pilot. He managed to give Jack the last known coordinates of Erica's plane. Jack was determined to go find Erica; Krystal insisted on joining him.
At Krystal's, Randi and Frankie tried to lift Madison's spirits in the wake of Ryan leaving with Greenlee. They urged her to go talk to a male patron who had made eyes at her. Madison returned to the table with the news that the patron was gay. Madison went back to Fusion and looked at pics of Ryan on her computer. She was surprised when Ryan entered, having seen her car in the parking lot. He apologized for having abandoned her at the wedding. He told her about Erica's plane. She gave him a comforting embrace.
Tuesday
At Fusion, Madison was upset when Greenlee called a meeting to discuss the PR angle of Erica's disappearance, noting that Erica could be dead. David and Greens tried to allay her concern. When Madison sang Erica's praises, Greenlee told her that she was fired. Madison accused her of firing her because of her involvement with Ryan, which Greens denied. Greenlee announced that she was removing Erica's image from the company branding. After the meeting disbanded, Greenlee felt guilty and spoke of a past time that Erica tried to protect her. They drank a bittersweet toast to Erica. David left. Greenlee was stunned when Bianca entered, telling Greenlee that if Jack didn't find Erica, Greens would wish it was her own plane that had gone down.
Jack and Krystal ventured into the mountains in search of Erica, who had just been dragged back to the cabin by Caleb. She tried to make a run for it and he blocked her. Erica pressed him about the woman in his past and he stonewalled her. Caleb treated Erica's injured foot. Jack and Krystal sat down to discuss his fear of losing Erica forever and his anger at Greenlee for not speaking up sooner about her whereabouts. He lamented losing more and more of Greenlee every day to David. Back at the cabin, Caleb blasted Erica for upending his life and tried to give her a swig from his flask. She freaked, noting that she's a recovering addict who hadn't had a drink in five years. He assured her that it was just water. Erica defended her own strength to Caleb, who put in earplugs. She shoved him and her cell phone fell out of his pocket. She was livid to realize that he'd had her phone the whole time. She grabbed his shotgun.... Jack and Krystal saw smoke coming from Caleb's cabin and headed in its direction.... Erica left the cabin with Caleb's gun.
Marissa and Scott talked about Palmer's will. Scott imagined that Jack was there, calling him out for taking advantage of Palmer and stealing his idea. Marissa busted him for talking out loud.
Annie and JR got into it at the yacht club over Scott when he found here there at a philanthropist's meeting. One of the society mavens made them stand close together for a photo. JR proposed to Annie that they sleep together again to try to get each other out of their systems. Annie excused herself to talk to Scott when he called. They made plans to meet at a motel and Annie left. Marissa entered and asked JR why he was there and not at the office, where he said he would be. He covered. JR told Marissa that he planned to prove to her that they could be a family again. She was touched. Annie met Scott at the yacht club and he told her that he loves her and will never hurt her. They made love. Later, JR and Annie both tried not to think about each other.
Wednesday
At the hospital, David had another verbal altercation with Jesse and Angie. David lorded his friendship with the mayor over Jesse, who reacted badly. Angie sent him home and pressed David to sign off on new budgetary requirements for the hospital. David threatened to fire Angie.
Greenlee swore to a furious Bianca that she had never intended for anything bad to happen to Erica. Bianca beseeched Greens to come clean with her about what she knows about Erica's whereabouts. "All I want is my mom home safe," Bianca insisted. Greens stayed mum. Bianca asked if David would kill for Greenlee. Jesse entered and Greens clammed up even further. Binks wanted her arrested but Jesse had no evidence on which to book her.
Madison and Ryan ran into each other in the park. Madison told Ryan that Greenlee had fired her. Ryan praised Madison for standing up to Greens on the subject of Erica. David approached and Ryan and David got into it over Greenlee and Erica. Ryan got physical, attacking David. After the scuffle ended, David bolted, and Ryan apologized to Madison for the violent temper he'd displayed. Mad urged Ryan to go look for Erica. He was moved.
Jack and Krystal found Caleb's cabin, but no one was inside. Krystal helped herself to some of Caleb's moonshine and Jack had some, as well. Krystal opened up about her struggle to be happy for Tad and Liza. Jack called Bianca with an update, assuring her that Erica was likely to have survived the plane crash. Jack revealed to Krystal that he planned to propose to Erica. She was pleased for him and offered to help him rehearse what he would say to Erica when he found her. Rehearsal ensued. Krystal assured Jack that Erica would be wearing his ring before he knew it.
Caleb searched in the woods for his dog. Nearby, Erica had taken a tumble into a ditch and called for help. A cave-in began and Erica prayed for her children and grandchildren's future. Caleb then pulled her to safety. Erica was bummed that Caleb, not Jack, had rescued her. Caleb made a fire and tried to tend to Erica, who thanked him for his help.
Ryan went to Fusion and reunited with Bianca. Bianca updated Ryan on Jack's call. Ryan told Greenlee that he had nearly strangled David. Greens became prickly and told the duo that she was done being their punching bag.
David went to Krystal's and ordered a scotch. Jesse approached and David accused him of harassment and threatened to make the hospital suffer if Jesse didn't back off. David told Jesse to go look for Erica instead of wasting his time with him. Jesse told David that Erica's plane had been found. Meanwhile, Angie gave herself a blood pressure test and her vision went blurry again. Jesse went to the hospital to take Angie home but she said she had to keep working. Jesse talked her into taking the night off.
Greenlee met with David in the park and was aghast at the fact that Ryan had hurt him. David assured Greenlee that they would be fine. Meanwhile, Bianca and Ryan commiserated over what had become of Greenlee. She could tell that Ryan still loves Greens, but he said, "It's done. She's married to David." When pressed, Ryan copped to the fact that he would always love Greens. Bianca asked Ryan if he would help her get justice for her mother if it turned out that Greens was responsible for the plane crash. He vowed to do what he had to do.
Thursday
JR shook off thoughts of Annie when Marissa came into the study. She sensed that he was off. When she went to check on AJ, he looked at the picture of him and Annie.
Scott ignored a call from JR to luxuriate in bed with Annie. When they returned home, he asked her to move into his room and she accepted. Annie went into the study and encountered JR. She let him know that she'd spent an intimate evening with Scott. JR scoffed that she was trying to convince herself that she loves Scott. Scott entered and the men had words over Annie as Marissa strode in. JR proposed a truce to Scott, who agreed. Once alone with Marissa, JR asked her to move back into their bedroom but she wasn't ready. She said she would move back in when he wanted her there, not when he wanted to want her there. AJ scampered in and asked JR to kiss Marissa. He gave her a peck. Marissa and AJ went upstairs to get the boy ready for bed. Annie entered and locked eyes with JR. She asked if he meant what he said about the truce; he said yes.
Opal warmly received a visit from Bianca. At Krystal's, Greenlee was grilled by a reporter about Erica. David told the reporter to scram. Greenlee bolted and went to see Opal, asking her for info on Erica's trip. Opal made it clear that she believes that Greenlee is responsible for Erica's disappearance.
Krystal tried to stop Jack from wandering off into the dark night alone to find Erica. Jack told Krystal that if Erica was dead, Greenlee would be dead to him. Krystal admitted to Jack that she doesn't even know if she really wants Tad. Jack found Erica's bracelet and was thrilled with the evidence of her survival.
Caleb woke up Erica, insisting that they had to get back to the cabin for her own good. Erica steered the conversation back to Caleb's mystery woman and he reluctantly opened up, albeit in vague terms. Erica shared a personal tale of her own. She beseeched him to tell her more about his history; he refused. He carried her back to the cabin. Erica realized that someone had been there and went outside to investigate. Jack was outside and he ran into her arms as Krystal beamed from the sidelines. He took her into the cabin and they enjoyed their romantic reunion. Outside, Krystal was scared by Caleb's return. He refused to identify himself and prepared to go inside the cabin. Krystal suggested that he reconsider, knowing that Jack and Erica were having some private time. Caleb was terse in answering Krystal's questions about how he had come to rescue La Kane. Caleb told Krystal to have Erica gone by the time he left, and he took off into the mountains. Krystal went inside and asked Erica about Caleb. She praised her rescuer and insisted on saying good-bye to him before they left. "He left," Krysal reported. "Oh," said Erica. "Then there's nothing stopping us!" Krystal grabbed Palmer's box and the trio left. Caleb secretly watched Erica fade from view.
Bianca went to Krystal's and read David the riot act. He insisted that he would never wish harm on Erica. She was confident that he was hiding something. Bianca went to Fusion and, after a reassuring phone call with Miranda, agreed to let Greenlee help put together a rescue fund for Erica. David entered and Greenlee told him about the search party they were mounting. Greenlee refused to let David help. Jack phoned Bianca, who was overjoyed to hear that Erica was okay and was even more delighted upon hearing her mom's voice. Greenlee tried to hug Bianca with happiness, but Bianca shut her down. Bianca made it clear that she believed David and Greenlee had something to do with Erica's ordeal — and that she intended to figure out what.
Friday
Jake and Amanda reminisced about their honeymoon at the yacht club. When they realized that they had neglected to check out of the yacht club on their wedding night, they raced to the room and had sex. Post-romp.... They romped some more. They went to the hospital, where they romped yet again.
Damon babysat for Trevor at the Martin house. Colby came over and they went over to the yacht club. Tad went to see Liza and brought her to lunch at the yacht club. The duos separately decided to keep their distance until Colby insisted that they go say hi. Liza quietly accused Damon of ruining her date, so Damon pretended like he was about to show the incriminating pictures of Liza to Tad. Liza bolted, having an allergic reaction to the lobster she'd consumed; Damon followed and helped her by injecting her with the medicine he carries for his peanut allergy. Liza thanked him for his aid. Back at the table, Tad counseled Colby about not getting too serious with Damon too quickly. When Damon and Liza returned, Tad insisted on taking Liza to the hospital.
At Krystal's, Jesse wondered to Angie if her symptoms might indicate pregnancy. Angie admitted that it was a possibility. She went to the hospital, where she bickered with a nurse over David. Angie ordered a lab work-up, including a pregnancy test, on a sample of her own blood. Angie thought back to her first Christmas with Frankie and Jesse. Angie went to open her test results and found Jake and Amanda making out in an exam room. They beat a hasty retreat and Angie looked at her results.
Natalia told Brot the good news that she had passed the detective exam. The mayor heard Natalia bragging about how she would clean up the town. Natalia winced. Jesse arrived and the mayor requested to speak to him privately. The mayor was upset with Jesse's treatment of David and insulted Natalia's police performance. Nat and Brot worried to Jesse after the mayor left about potential budget cuts. He assured them that he'd handle it. Jesse dismissed them when Angie called. She informed him that she's not pregnant. Angie maintained that she's fine, but suffered another bout of blurry vision after getting off the phone. When Tad and Liza showed up, she tried to shake it off to tend to Liza. Jake pronounced Liza fine and Colby beamed over Damon's heroics.... Natalia invited Brot out to dinner. He accepted.... Jake sensed that something was off with Angie and confronted her.... Colby told Damon that she loves him.
