Kendall told Zach how much it was bothering her that Greenlee was so upset, and how she wanted to fix it. There was a knock on the door, and it was a man asking for Kendall. When she came to the door, he told her she was being served — Greenlee was suing her. Kendall was peeved. Josh came in just in time to hear what Greenlee had done. Josh admitted he was the one Greenlee slept with. He also admitted he knew that Kendall had slept with Aidan. He told her it was a one-time thing, and Kendall said she was relieved it was him. The baby cried, and Josh went to check on him. Zach told Kendall he thought they had moved on, and Kendall insisted everything was fine. Zach said he was going to the hospital to check on Tad, and left Kendall with Josh. Josh asked if everything was okay. She said it was fine, and later asked about him sleeping with Greenlee. She told him she wanted him to make it happen again.

JR called Babe and told her what was happening with Richie. She told him to get Richie to the hospital and she would meet him there. Angie asked Jesse if he was alright with turning down the police chief job, and Jesse said he was. Taking the job was not worth making her unhappy. Jesse told her he was meeting up with an old friend from the force who might be able to get him a job at PVU. He was about to head out when Richie was wheeled in. JR claimed to have found him in the street having convulsions. As Angie examined him, Richie abruptly woke up and said JR tried to poison him. Babe rushed in as JR denied it. JR told them all that Richie had stolen his bone marrow. Babe told Jesse about the situation. Angie told them there was no poison in Richie's system and that JR's symptoms back then supported the idea of Richie taking his bone marrow. Jesse asked Angie to explain how she would proceed in checking that out to the police.

Frankie was about to go home when a nurse told him Randi was back. When he walked into her room, she got annoyed; she'd asked for another doctor. Frankie insisted he had every right to be concerned if he suspected she was being abused. She told him she was just clumsy, and that her arm was still hurting. He went to check her x-rays, and once he was gone, she looked in a mirror and said to herself, "You're not clumsy, you're a liar." When he came back in he told her she had a hairline fracture, and she needed a cast. After he put one on, he told her to come back in two weeks for a check-up. Randi asked if she could take him for coffee. As they were about to leave Randi said she had forgotten that she'd picked up an extra shift at work and rushed off.

Greenlee told Ryan that the ride was exactly what she needed. She wondered why Ryan finally agreed to take a ride with her — what was he running away from? Ryan said he just needed a break. He didn't understand why Annie didn't want him to go to New York. Greenlee commiserated with him, and Ryan said he was lucky to have her in his life. Meanwhile, Annie was setting up for her special night with Ryan. She toasted to the Laverys, that their family could grow — starting that night. Greenlee told Ryan that she was suing Kendall. Back at home, Annie began to wonder where Ryan was. Richie called Annie, who thought it was Ryan. When she realized it wasn't she was very irritated. Richie told her he needed something. Greenlee told Ryan she wished she'd never met Kendall. Ryan found that laughable. The more she trashed Kendall, the sadder Ryan got. He told her he hoped they could work it out because he loved them both and he always would. Meanwhile, Annie was fuming. She assumed Greenlee had gotten Ryan to stay with her. She threw her nicely set-up dinner to the floor.

JR confessed to Babe that he thought Richie was going to die in his car. Babe couldn't believe Richie took JR's bone marrow. She apologized again for trusting Richie. Jesse advised the police officers on what to do about Richie. Richie asked Angie what was going on out in the hall. He wanted her to send Babe in to see him. Angie told him Babe wasn't there to see him. Richie realized Angie believed JR's story. She told him they had found no poison in his system. Richie tried to convince her that JR was lying, but she wasn't interested in helping him. Out in the hall, Angie heard the police offers say they had heard Jesse might be their new boss, but Jesse quickly said he wasn't and gave Angie a kiss. Babe worried whether or not they bought their story, and the police walked over asking for contact info for Treena. Richie covered himself up in a sweatshirt and tried to escape the hospital, but ran into Zach on his way out. When he said excuse me, Zach recognized his voice and grabbed his shoulder.

Ryan dropped Greenlee off at home, and when she walked into her apartment she found Annie sitting on her couch in the dark.
