Aidan and Greenlee enjoyed a morning in bed. Greens decided to go to the courtroom to support Kendall. Aidan, thinking about Ryan and Kendall's secret meeting in L.A., said he had some things to take care of.... Aidan went to ConFusion to see Ryan and ordered him to stop toying with Annie, Kendall and Greenlee. Lavery defended himself, explaining that he's in a bad spot and trying to sort things out. Ryan commented that he realized that he'd been going about things in the wrong way then excused himself without explaining himself to Aidan.

Jack defended Erica when the judge wanted a longer sentence than the six months Samuel had negotiated. La Kane was stunned when the judge recommended
18 months behind bars. Zach and Kendall arrived and tried to keep Erica calm as Jack and Sam went into chambers to try to come to terms. When Greens arrived, La Kane prepped for battle, but Greens assured her that she was on her side.... Zach told Greenlee about Kendall and Ryan's meeting in California. Greens tried to explain why Kendall didn't tell him.... Erica blasted Kendall for playing with fire where Ryan was concerned.... When Sam and Jack returned from the judge's chambers, Jack tried to stop her from going off on Sam because Sam had tried to advocate for her with the judge.
Jack told Erica that showing remorse was her best chance of a light sentence. After she pleaded guilty, she asked to say a few words. She delivered an eloquent statement that impressed Samuel, saying that she was willing to serve as a public example that no one is above the law, regardless of wealth or status. The judge was affected and sentenced Erica to a five million dollar fine, two years of community service, and six months in prison. La Kane said that she was ready to begin serving her sentence immediately.

Tad and Jesse touched base on Jesse's progress going through Remington's belongings. Jesse told Tad about Papel; Tad responded that he knew who Papel
is: a veritable urban legend, a murderous drug lord who for years has eluded the Feds. Tad then filled Jesse in on his history with Krystal and Adam....
Tad's research led him to a warehouse that Tad and Jesse believed could be significant to the case.... Robert was spotted in a setting similar to the one Jesse described as where he had been held after the shooting 20 years ago.

Krystal, Babe, Colby, JR and Adam had a tense dinner at the Chandler manse.
Colby rolled her eyes when Adam suggested having Dre and Samuel over for a meal. Adam then announced that he was pleased to have everyone around his table. "To one big happy family," he toasted. No one joined in. After the meal, Krystal and Colby excused themselves. JR explained to Babe that he moved back in to regain her trust and prove to her that he hadn't fallen off the wagon. Babe said she was beginning to think it was possible that he had been set up as he had claimed — but any way you sliced it, she argued, it was further proof that he's a magnet for trouble. She said that for Little Adam's sake, she couldn't remain on the emotional roller coaster that was their relationship. "I want off the ride," she sighed. In the study, Krystal was making the same declaration to Adam and denied to him that she wanted him back.... Babe and Krystal compared notes about their chats with their exes.... JR thanked Krystal for believing in him and told Krystal that he planned to ask Babe to marry him.
