AMC Week of March 21, 2011
Monday
Emma lashed out at Ryan and Greenlee, saying that Annie had told her that they don't care about her. Emma demanded to see Madison and threw a fit when Ryan said no. Greens left to go to Fusion.
Scott updated Madison on what had happened with Annie. Frankie came by; Scott exited. Madison told Frankie about Ryan knowing that he's the dad. Ryan called and Mad agreed to meet him and Emma at the hospital. Frankie didn't like seeing Madison running to Ryan's side.
Though distraught over Annie, JR told Amanda that he would keep their business meeting. Jake told Amanda that he didn't love the idea of her meeting with JR late at night. At ConFusion, Amanda thought JR was drinking and apologized when she realized that she was wrong. JR opened up about the Annie situation.
Kendall told Griffin that she was going with him to the charity fund-raiser. He refused and she stalked out. Kendall went to Fusion and chatted with Bianca, who told her the charity benefit had been canceled. Greens went to Fusion and vented about Emma wanting to be with Madison.
Tad thanked Cara for convincing Krystal not to move out. He stonewalled her about what investigation he was working on but Cara worried about Griffin's safety with regards to Zach's possibly murder.
Diana and Ricky met about Griffin sniffing around about Zach. Ricky told Diana how he had planted seeds of doubt about Griffin in Kendall's mind. Ricky called Griffin to cancel his appointment with Diana. Griffin went to see Tad. Tad warned Griffin that Cara was worried about him and tried to dissuade him from ambushing Diana.
Cara and Jake ran into each other at the hospital. Frankie asked Scott if he was bothered by the Ryan/Madison connection. Emma ran into Madison's arms. They told the little girl that Madison was expecting Ryan's baby. Jake and Cara examined Emma. Cara told Ryan that Emma might benefit from a therapist. Back at the penthouse, Emma pretended to be nice to Greens in front of Ryan, but when he left the room, she was icy to her stepmom.
Jake showed up at ConFusion and gave JR a tough time about Annie, being somewhat harsh to Amanda in the hospital. He went back to the hospital and seemed to be bugged to find Cara buying a present for Tad. Meanwhile, Opal picked up on the spring in Tad's step since marrying Cara. Amanda and Jake made up at the hospital.
Kendall summoned Griffin to Fusion. When she confronted him about the benefit having been canceled, he covered by claiming that he'd actually had a date that night.
JR mournfully stared at Annie's picture. Scott and Madison frolicked at the apartment. Greenlee kept Emma's lash-out from Ryan.
Tuesday
A snuggly Jack and Erica parted ways at Krystal's as Caleb arrived. Erica told Caleb she wanted some fresh blood at Cortlandt.
Colby asked JR to sponsor her blog. He wasn't interested, which upset Colby. Asher sided with Colby. Colby went to Krystal's and pitched to Erica and Caleb the idea of Cortlandt sponsoring her blog. Caleb thought Asher would be right to manage the project. He went to see Asher to ask him to work for Cortlandt. JR told Caleb to get out, then gloated to Asher that this was a great chance for Ash to spy on Caleb. Asher made it clear that he was sick of being stuck between the men.
Marissa went over Bianca's divorce papers with Jack. Bianca showed up. Jack left. Marissa complimented how well Bianca was handling things. Marissa and Bianca went to the mansion to celebrate AJ and Miranda's birthdays. Later, Marissa got the call she'd been expecting from Reese's lawyer. Marissa broke the news to Binks that Reese is pursuing full custody of both children.
Liza saw David at ConFusion looking at her drunken rant online. He advised her to change her strategy with Colby and show some restraint. He denied that he was trying to seduce her. Liza went to Krystal's and found Colby showing her rant to Erica. Colby left. Erica and Liza had serious words over Colby, with Liza all but declaring war on La Kane. Liza went back to ConFusion and kissed David passionately. Liza told David she wanted to work with him against Erica. Colby got back to the mansion in time to see Asher telling off JR about Caleb. Caleb went back to Krystal's and they caught up about their respective meetings. Jack showed up and presented Erica with papers about their wedding. Caleb hung his head.
Angie returned to the hospital and complimented Cara and Jake on their partnership as Amanda tried not to fume. Jesse admitted that he was freaking out a bit about the baby's birth. Jake and Cara offered him reassurance but Jake's reminiscences about Trevor's birth got to Cara, who rushed off and knocked into Angie. Cara opened up to Angie about her desire for kids. Angie kissed Jesse and told him she needed him to be her eyes during the birth. He was honored. Cara spied Jake and Amanda cuddling with Trevor.
Wednesday
Erica was near-speechless when Jack presented her with papers that would enable them to wed soon in her dream location. Caleb tried not to show his upset. Alone with Caleb, Jack accused him of not respecting his relationship with Erica. Krystal asked Jack why was taking swings at Caleb. Jack urged Krystal not to give up on love.
Bianca and Marissa told Kendall about Reese suing for full custody. Binks assured Kendall that she could handle things. After Bianca left, Erica came and informed Kendall that her wedding date had been scheduled. Erica was embarrassed when Kendall announced the news to the whole office. Meanwhile, Marissa got Bianca to let out her stress with a snowball fight. Marissa promised Binks that they would win the custody fight. Caleb went to ConFusion and Marissa approached him for advice on Bianca's case. Talk turned to Erica. Erica showed up for their meeting in time to hear Caleb telling Marissa that Erica makes him feel alive.
At the penthouse, Erica told an overjoyed Opal about her wedding date. Bianca heard Erica mentioning Caleb kissing her. Erica assured Bianca that the smooch meant nothing.
Diana told Ricky that Griffin had come to the casino.
Griffin showed up at Tad's having been badly beaten. Tad insisted on taking him to the hospital. Cara wigged and determined that her brother had two cracked ribs. Griff explained that he had been beaten up by four guys at the casino. Griffin and Tad talked privately about how to proceed. Kendall saw Griffin and gasped, asking what had happened to him. He gave a cover story. Tad tried to calm Cara's frayed nerves. Ricky showed up and watched Kendall with Griffin in his hospital room. Ricky approached Kendall and planted more seeds of doubt about Griffin in her mind, making it seem like Griffin was a drug dealer who had beat kids up for snitching on him.
Thursday
JR and Amanda wrapped up a fruitful Chandler business meeting before she left to meet Jake. Marissa came to the mansion and JR told her that Annie was going to be away from a long time. He apologized again for the whole Annie mess. JR made it clear that he wanted Marissa back.
At the hospital, Griffin told Cara not to mention his investigation to Kendall. Cara ribbed Griffin about the bachelor auction. Ricky made Kendall think that Griffin was a drug dealer. Amanda showed up for her date with Jake but he was too swamped to leave; she claimed to be fine with that. Cara approached Ricky to participate in the bachelor auction. Kendall approached Griffin and tried to get info from him about his drug-swiping. She then did some digging with Cara and told Griffin that she was going to bid on him. Kendall went home and gazed at Zach's picture.
Jack and Bianca interrupted Caleb and Erica's conversation about the comment she'd heard him making to Marissa. Bianca had signed Jack up for the bachelor auction. Back at home, Jack and Erica discussed the auction. Erica went to the hospital and saw Caleb, who was there for a meeting about the wing he'd funded in honor of Asher's mom. Talk turned to their relationship and Erica suggested they meet the next night to discuss it privately.
Marissa went to ConFusion and talked to Bianca about her feelings for JR. Bianca didn't want Marissa to give up on love. Binks went to see Kendall and learned that Kendall had bid on Griffin. Kendall described it as a “fact-finding mission.” She admitted that she'd become suspicious of Griffin.
Amanda went back to the mansion and JR told her that Cara was trying to enlist him in the bachelor auction. Amanda didn't want to talk about Cara. JR asked Amanda to get Marissa to bid on him. She said she'd think about it. Jack came by to fetch Amanda, having gotten the rest of the night off.
Diana and Ricky met about his plan to enter the auction. Griffin told Cara that he felt responsible for determining the cause of Zach's death. He instructed Cara to outbid Kendall for the date with him. He went back to his hotel room, where he conducted an online search on Diana. Cara, meanwhile, decided that Griffin needed a push in Kendall's direction and decided to bid on Ricky instead.
Friday
Marissa realized that JR had put Amanda up to coaxing her into bidding on JR in the charity bachelor auction. Marissa decided to make a bid — on Scott.
Ryan continued to try to get through to a sullen Emma. Ryan approached JR and told him to stay away from Annie. Ryan told JR that he'd taken JR off of Annie's Oak Haven contact list.
Scott told Madison that he was participating in the bachelor auction. She assured him that he was a catch. Marissa showed up for her date with Scott. Mad tried not to feel jealous. Amanda told JR that things didn't go well with Marissa and that she had been on Scott. JR made a beeline to Madison to let her know that Scott and Marissa had slept together in the past. At Krystal's, Scott and Marissa enjoyed each other's company. Scott decided to head home to Mad before she went to bed. Scott and Mad shared a cute moment back at the apartment. Meanwhile, JR sidled up to Marissa at Krystal's. JR told Marissa that he wants her back but wasn't going to do anything shady to get her.
Kendall acknowledged to Greenlee that her date with Griff is a big deal, but explained that she was using the date to dig for info. She filled Greens in on the situation.
Cara smiled to herself about having bid on Ricky instead of Griffin. Ricky and Griffin had a hostile talk in the hallway. Kendall went to Griffin's room to get him for their date; he was shirtless, and surprised to see her, not Cara. Griff called Cara to ream her out.
Ricky went to ConFusion and hissed at Diana to scram. He was dismayed when Kendall and Griffin showed up. Randi approached Kendall and Griff. Kendall was uncomfortable when Randi made a big deal of them being on a date. When Griff told her that he had tried to get out of the date by getting Cara to get outbid her, she got upset and tried to leave, but he stopped her. Ricky was wigged when Cara arrived for their date.
At the penthouse, Emma lashed out at Greenlee. An arriving Ryan was befuddled. Ryan assured Greenlee that they would get through this as a family. Emma peeked them smooching and was none too pleased.
