AMC Week of March 31, 2008
Monday
As the truck driver opened the back door, Carmen put the gun to Erica's
back, and told her to get them out of it. He recognized Erica and knew she
was on the run. He told her his ex-wife had left him because of her show. He was about to call the cops when Erica pointed out that all of the clothes he was transporting were fakes, and he would be arrested if he called the
police. He let them go, and they scurried through the back door of a store.
Zach came home and told Kendall what he had done with Ryan. Kendall wasn't happy mdash; they argued and she stormed off. Meanwhile, Ryan arrived at ConFusion where Greenlee was having a drink. Ryan told her that Zach showed him footage of when he almost hit her. Greenlee told him she pushed him to that point. He insisted she tell him the whole story, and she did. He was devastated by what had happened. Afterwards he left, despite her pleas that he stay.
Annie showed up at Greenlee's, and told Aidan she was there to see him. It
was clear she was coming on to him. He told her she didn't want to do that,
and she went off about Greenlee. They argued, and Annie pointed out that
Greenlee was probably out with Ryan. Aidan told her that Ryan would come
back to her, and Greenlee was coming home to him, no matter where she was. Annie left, and Aidan was clearly left a little unsettled.
Tad, Krystal, Jesse and Angie celebrated at The Comeback. They talked about Mrs. Remington's missing necklace. Meanwhile, Rob put the diamond in a safe. After, he headed over to The Comeback where he watched Jesse from afar. Eventually, he approached the table. Angie and Jesse thanked him for his help. Krystal suggested Rob help her pick out a song on the jukebox, and as
nicely as possible suggested he give Jesse some space. Robert agreed and
said goodbye to everyone. Jesse got a call from Samuel Woods, asking him to
meet him.
Tuesday
While walking through the store, Erica managed to swipe a nail file without Carmen noticing. Carmen accused Erica of being a snob, and Erica set Carmen straight about her past. While telling Carmen her history, she thought back on her life. Her words brought Carmen to tears. They set up a place to sleep on the floor and Carmen talked about her dreams. Erica told her it was never too late for her dreams to come true. As Erica talked about never giving up, Carmen fell asleep. Erica realized this could be her chance to free herself, and pulled the nail file out.
Babe came to the hospital after Richie called her, and he told her he was being released. Babe told him she had the perfect place for him to stay. She brought him over to Opal's, which left Richie shocked. Richie told Babe he had expected to stay with her. Babe got more and more angry as he continued to give her a hard time. She told him he had to change and prove himself.
Frankie and Colby brought a very sick JR to the hospital. They left Angie to examine him, and Frankie told Colby about the kidnapping. He opened up about his time in the Army. Meanwhile, JR told Angie about his symptoms and being kidnapped. Later, while alone, JR collapsed in pain. Angie rushed in and worked to bring his temperature down as Frankie and Colby came back into the room. Angie suggested Colby call her family. Colby called Babe, who asked questions about JR's condition while Richie thought back to what he had done to him. Babe rushed out, much to Richie's dismay. Opal came in, and Richie gave her an attitude. Opal told him she was getting weird vibes from him, and she was usually right about the feelings she gets about people. Babe arrived at JR's bedside, and he told her that her being there made him feel better.
Jesse met with Samuel, who offered him a job at the Attorney General's office. Jesse turned him down, saying he couldn't put Angie through that again. Samuel filled him in on the situation with Erica, and they talked about their lives.
Wednesday
Krystal rushed to the hospital and joined Babe. Angie approached them and told them the test results were in — JR had hepatitis. JR begged Adam and then Babe to find his mom. Unwilling to tell JR that Dixie was dead, Babe told him Dixie had sent her in her place. JR told Babe he loved her, and thanked her for supporting him. Meanwhile, Krystal talked to Adam and suggested he give JR the benefit of the doubt.
Erica took Carmen's gun. Carmen woke up, and Erica told her she was leaving.
She left, but came back, saying she wanted to stay and help her.
Ryan brought Emma back to Annie's. He apologized to Annie again for everything. He tried to talk to her about what Greenlee had just told him, but she told him she couldn't be there for him. He noticed that she had taken her wedding ring off. Emma brought Ryan a picture she had drawn. Ryan thanked her, and told her he had to get going.
Kendall and Zach got a call from Erica, telling them she was okay. She said she was in the Chicago area, but she had to stay with Carmen because she wanted to help her. Then she hung up.
Opal told Richie that she was only letting him stay there because Babe believed in him. Opal decided to read his cards. She told him the cards about his past said something was stolen, and something was buried. She asked if that rang any bells for him. Richie thought back to hitting Zach with JR's car, and covering the hole Zach and Greenlee fell in, but said he didn't have a clue what the cards meant. Meanwhile, JR had a dream about a man standing by his car. He woke up abruptly and told Babe and Adam that he saw someone, but quickly passed out again.
Ryan visited Erin's grave and talked to her about what was going on, wishing she could advise him.
Carmen and Erica shopped around the store finding things for Carmen's makeover.
Thursday
Angie and Jesse looked at old pictures as they unpacked. Jesse told her about Samuel's job offer. Angie immediately said there was no way he was going to put himself back in the line of fire. Jesse told her he had turned him down. They talked about when the got married. Suddenly Jesse rushed out, saying he would be right back. Jesse returned with flowers — the same ones Angie carried when they got married.
Krystal moved back in with Tad, who wondered if she missed Adam. She claimed Tad was being silly — she only empathized with her ex. Krystal insisted her love for Adam was gone. Later, she told Tad she was organizing a party.
Aidan looked at Greenlee's phone, and it was Ryan calling. Aidan hoped she wasn't going to answer in the middle of his proposal. She didn't pick it up, but she didn't say yes to his proposal either. She feared marriage would ruin what they had. As she made excuse after excuse, Aidan got mad, and left. As soon as he was gone, Greenlee checked the voicemail Ryan had left her.
Zach assured Kendall that Erica would be fine. He knew she was also worried about Ryan. They continued to disagree about him. Zach made a call to have someone track down Erica, while Kendall left a message to reassure Ryan. Kendall told Zach he had been cruel to Ryan, and Zach retorted that he preferred the truth, no matter how cruel. In the end they decided to put it aside for the moment, and began kissing. They were interrupted by a knock at the door. Zach opened to find Greenlee, furious with him. She tore him apart, and he quickly made up an excuse to leave. After he was gone, Greenlee told Kendall about Aidan. Kendall suspected Ryan was Greenlee's reason for turning down Aidan's proposal. Kendall begged her not to ruin her life, but Greenlee hurried off, clearly determined to help Ryan.
Aidan went to ConFusion, where he downed martinis. Zach showed up and told him not to give up on Greenlee. Aidan wasn't interested. After Zach was gone, Aidan called Annie and suggested he come over for a little bit of fun.
Friday
Erica and Carmen arrived at Mando's mother's apartment. They went in and Carmen demanded to know where Mando was. Mrs. Louisa began to threaten them, and Erica pulled the gun out of her bag. Now that Louisa was listening, Carmen told her what Mando had done to her. Louisa refused to give her son up. Erica said they would wait, and soon enough, Mando walked through the door. Louisa told him to run, but Erica shut the door the trained the gun on him. Carmen got all mushy, and while Erica was distracted by her shock, Louisa grabbed the gun.
Kendall told Rachel she was going out for a little bit, and told Spike she was going to see Daddy Ryan, and it was their secret. Meanwhile, a drunken Aidan stumbled into Annie's apartment. He asked if she still wanted to get back at Ryan, because he "sure as hell does." Annie apologized for coming on to him earlier. Aidan plopped on to the couch, where he passed out after mumbling about secrets. Kendall showed up at the door, and told Annie she was looking for Ryan. Aidan woke up, and told them both that he proposed to Greenlee and she turned him down. Annie determined that Greenlee had said no because of Ryan. After trying to call Greens from Aidan's phone, she left the room to get him a pillow and blanket. She came back in, and while she was out of Aidan's sight, he woke up again and asked Kendall why they still felt so guilty. Annie looked on, confused.
Ryan went to the plot where his family's home had been, and thought about his childhood. Greenlee found him. She tried to convince him he was past all that, but he insisted she leave. Greens told him Aidan had proposed to her, and she had turned him down. Ryan didn't understand why she said no. Greenlee told him she couldn't abandon him now — she was the only one who could help him. Ryan told her to leave, but she insisted he secretly wanted her to come.
Jesse and Angie returned to the place they were originally married. The woman who lived there told them her father, the justice of the peace who had married them, had died. They would have to go somewhere else to renew their vows. Then his wife, who remembered them, came out, and suggested they renew their vows there anyway, even though it wouldn't be official. They agreed, and shared moving vows. Flashbacks of their original vows played. After, Jesse and Angie happily left.
