AMC Week of May 19, 2008
Monday
Annie heard Ryan telling Kendall that although he has memories of Annie, he's not in love with her. Annie decided against telling Ryan that his vasectomy didn't work. Annie returned home and began crying but pulled it together for Emma's sake.... Greenlee was freaked out about the future of her relationship with Aidan; Kendall tried to talk her down, then dragged her out on the town.... Ryan gently rebuffed Annie's attempts at seduction; Annie then tore up the legal documents the attorney had left her.
Robert took Cassandra out of her trance as Stuart and Little Adam knocked on the door. A groggy Cassie opened the door and Rob listened in remotely as Stuart and Little A returned the stuffed elephant. Angie and Jesse returned home and Jesse picked up on Cassie's odd behavior, which reminded Jesse of his own condition after being drugged by his captors. Angie told Jesse not to look for trouble where there was none. Jesse got the message.... Rob received a visit from an FBI Agent with questions about the shooting at the hangar.
Dixie's spirit encouraged Jake to stay in Pine Valley. Next he was visited in the flesh by Ruth and Joe, who also wanted him to remain in town.
Tad felt a little sorry for Adam, who was confined to a cell at Oak Haven. "You really have snapped," said Tad as Adam bellowed about Dixie's presence. Dix appeared and gazed upon Tad. Dixie cautioned Adam that he was running out of time to make things right, saying terrible pain was headed his way if he didn't.... Tad went to see Jake.
Tuesday
At The Comeback, Tad and Jake discussed Adam's possible loss of sanity. Jake stayed mum to Tad about having heard Dixie's voice. Tad sat down with Aidan, who was stewing over Greenlee's lack of desire for kids. Julia and Jake chatted about her imminent departure from Pine Valley. Aidan couldn't stop thinking about Greenlee.... Alone, a reflective Jake fingered a wedding ring he wore around his neck.... Dixie's spirit helped Tad prepare for the wedding.
Kendall tried to take Greenlee's mind off Aidan with a trip to ConFusion, where they met up with Babe and Amanda. Babe told the gals about Richie setting up JR and announced her intent to get even. Greenlee couldn't stop thinking about Aidan....
JR went to see Zach on Chandler business; Zach enjoyed taunting JR about Adam's stint in the nuthouse. Zach asked JR to help him figure out who struck him and framed JR. JR agreed to consider it.
At Oak Haven, Dixie warned Adam that his time was running out and that one of his loved ones might shoulder the punishment if he refused to do the right thing. JR picked up Adam from Oak Haven upon his release.
Jesse and Angie were thrilled when Frankie arrived with a special visitor: Greg Nelson. The Hubbards introduced Cassie and Greg. The group began to reminisce about Jenny. Angie, Jesse and Greg went to the cemetery to see Jenny's grave, where they thought back on their relationships with each other and with Jenny.
Rob was questioned about the shooting of Papel by an FBI Agent. To avoid capture, Rob killed the agent, then listened in on Cassie and formed a new plan as to how to get his hands on the stuffed elephant. Later, he hit the casinos and felt like he was on a winning streak.
Wednesday
Kendall and Zach shared a romantic moment before Greenlee arrived at their house to head to the wedding.... Angie and Jesse were ebulliant (in separate rooms) on the day of their wedding.... Tad cuddled with Jenny before the ceremony.
JR and Babe arrived together. Colby and JR expressed their concern about Adam to Babe. Jake, Ruth and Joe enjoyed their time together. Greens darted away when she caught sight of Aidan. Kendall approached Aidan and urged him to make things right with Greens. Robert was still scheming to get his hands on the elephant, which was in Cassie's bag.... Cassie and Angie were moved by gifts and poems left for them by Jesse.... Angel Dixie gazed upon Tad and Krystal. Dixie was terribly worried, knowing that something awful was about to happen.... Opal was overwhelmed to see her son-in-law, Greg Nelson. Greg and Tad had an emotional reunion of their own. Tad introduced Greg to Krystal and to baby Jenny.... R&B star Ne-Yo showed up as a surprise for Angie.... Tad played with Kathy/Kate as Dixie looked on. Jake recalled hearing Dixie's voice.... Greens was thrilled when Aidan told her that they belonged together and he couldn't live without her. Jack saw a weepy Greens and misunderstood why she was teary. Thinking she already knew, he ended up disclosing to his daughter that Aidan and Kendall had betrayed her. She reeled but kept her discovery to herself.... Rob, after coming up empty-handed at the loft, headed back to the wedding.... Colby observed Dre's crush on Cassie.... Angie and Jesse's wedding began, with Ne-Yo serenading the bride. As the entire staff of Digest wept, the couple exchanged their vows.
After Angie and Jesse were pronounced married once again, JR and Babe got swept up in the romance.... Greg played with baby Jenny.... Rob tried to figure out how to get access to Angie and Jesse's room but was waylaid by Opal.... Cassie and Jesse shared a warm moment.... Greenlee could barely hide her distress in front of Zach, Kendall and Aidan.
Thursday
Greenlee took Aidan, Kendall and Zach into a corridor to confront Aidan and Kendall about their infidelity. To torment Aidan, Greens claimed that she did want kids after all and wanted Kendall to carry the child for her. Her ruse culminated with her calling Aidan and Kendall out on their betrayal. Greens's heartbreak doubled when she realized Zach already knew. "I hate you," she spat to Aidan and Kendall. Zach dragged Greenlee away before she could physically attack Kendall. Aidan was furious with Kendall for telling Zach about their one-night stand without informing him. Aidan interrupted Zach's efforts to soothe Greenlee (and make her forgive Aidan and Kendall) to accuse him of having sent him to Darfur to die. Zach responded by decking Aidan.
Tad made a toast congratulating the newlyweds, Angie and Jesse, who were serenaded by Ne-Yo for the first dance. Robert tried to find out where Angie and Jesse were staying but found Opal impossible to shake. Opal was a little suspicious when she discovered that Rob was armed so Rob rendered her unconscious and locked her in a closet.... Babe comforted JR, who was concerned about Adam. Kathy/Kate danced with Angel Dixie, who also kept close watch on Tad annd sent chocolate chip cookies to JR and Babe.... At Frankie's urging, Dre asked Cassandra to dance. Colby was about to cut a rug with Frank when a frantic Adam called to demand her whereabouts.... Jesse and Cassie shared a warm moment.... An amorous JR and Babe got a room.... Rob got into Cassie's room, found her elephant and sliced it open, but the diamond was not inside. "Looking for this?" questioned a previously unseen Jesse, diamond in hand and gun drawn.... Adam showed up at the Valley Inn and was chastised by Dixie for how long it took him.... Rob tried to talk himself out of the situation with Jesse but Jesse wasn't hearing any of it, having figured out that Rob and Papel were one and the same.... Adam barged into the ballroom and nearly got thrown out for causing a scene.... Rob challenged Jesse to shoot him.
Friday
After Zach socked Aidan, he took Kendall by the hand and left. Greenlee lashed out at Aidan for his betrayal as Kendall lamented to Zach that she'd ruined both her friendship with Greenlee and the future of Fusion.... Jack was frantic to find Greenlee.... Greenlee got into Zach's car and told him to take her home.
In their room at the casino, Babe and JR basked in the afterglow.... Tad tried to get a worked-up Adam to leave the reception. Dixie urged Adam to hurry and do the right thing as the worst was about to happen. Upstairs, Jesse lost the upper hand on Robert when Angie walked in and Rob grabbed her, and, holding a gun to her head, forced Jesse to drop his weapon. He threatened to kill Jesse all over again.... blasted Tad for his lack of compassion toward Adam.... Greg liberated Opal from the closet Rob had stashed her in.... Dixie told Jake not to leave because Tad needs him.... While trying to find JR, Adam encountered Rob, who, with Angie as his hostage, fired a gun at JR (he missed) before boarding an elevator. Jesse took off in hot pursuit.... Babe told JR that she loves him.... Greenlee bolted from Aidan, who came face-to-face with Rob and Angie. Rob took Angie away before Aidan could do anything. As Dixie tried to keep Colby and Kathy/Kate inside the bathroom, Rob brought Angie into the reception. Rob fired his gun, hitting Julia. Joe, Greg and Krystal ran to her side. Rob fired again, hitting Greg.... Dixie shared a sweet moment with Kate.... Julia, badly injured, asked questions about her condition. Krystal told an arriving Colby and Kathy to stay back and accompanied Julia to the ambulance.... Rob eluded Jesse, Frankie and Tad as he boarded the elevator again with Angie. He took Angie to the roof and forced her aboard the helicopter Tad had arranged for the happy couple. Frankie, Tad, Jesse and Jake arrived on the roof and Rob kept shooting.... Adam reunited with Colby, who was still taking care of Julia. Adam gave the girl a comforting hug.... Cassie prayed for her family's safety.... As the helicopter took off, Jesse dived off the building in the hopes of catching onto the bottom of the vehicle... Dixie tried to protect Tad but could not; Rob shot him.
