Amanda and Trevor stopped by the hospital to see Jake. Amanda told Trevor that he would have a baby sibling soon.

At Krystal's, Tad told Cara that he'd gotten her a job offer at the free clinic. She was moved. Opal observed them together. Jake told Cara that Mackenzie's surgery had been scheduled. Cara was determined to go to the hospital even though Tad was worried she'd get caught. At the hospital, Jake told Cara to leave, but she insisted on seeing the little girl, who was thrilled by Cara's arrival. Tad and Jake bickered about Cara. Tad called Jake out on not being able to let Cara go. Cara's pep talk did wonders for Mackenzie, but then her dad came in. The dad confronted Jake furiously. When Jake defended Cara, the dad decked Jake, who fell to the floor. Cara rushed to his aid. Frankie told Cara to call Amanda. Cara called Tad looking for Amanda. Amanda showed up to see her knocked-out husband.

Amanda met up with Opal at Krystal's. Amanda told her that she was trying for another baby. Opal told Amanda that she thinks Tad and Cara are falling for each other.

As Griffin listened via earpiece, Kendall blocked Ricky's efforts to consummate their relationship. Griffin made a noise in the hallway to distract Ricky. She insisted on leaving but indicated that his patience would be rewarded. She and Griffin fled. Back at the safe house, Kendall and Griffin discussed ways to get back into Ricky's room to get to his computer. She decided to lie down for a while but couldn't shake the gross feeling of having had Ricky's lips on hers. Griffin reassured her that Zach would understand why she was doing what she was doing. Griffin stroked Kendall's hair as she slept.

On the yacht, Jack had Erica flashbacks and threw something against the wall in frustration. Ricky showed up and sweet-talked Jack into letting him borrow the yacht for something special he had planned for Kendall.

Bianca helped Miranda move back into the mansion. They chatted about Erica and the tabloid story. AJ and Miranda came home early; something had happened at school. Marissa and Bianca tried to get the kids to 'fess up. Miranda reluctantly revealed that kids had teased Miranda about having lesbian moms. AJ explained that he had shoved the child who dissed Miranda. Bianca vented to Marissa about the cruelty of the homophobic bully.
