Jake asked David how Amanda was doing, frustrated by the fact that his wife wasn't returning his calls. David had to cover his comment about how Amanda might be pregnant when Jake noted that he'd found out from the fertility doc that the insemination hadn't taken place. Jake remained suspicious. When Amanda arrived, he interrogated her. Jake began to suspect that David might have raped Amanda. She told him that that wasn't the case and asked Jake to accept it. She became upset and rushed out.

Zach became frustrated when Tad wouldn't reveal all he knew about Kendall and Aidan's situation. Tad said that Aidan was going to keep Kendall safe until she was exonerated and that Zach was off base to suspect that Aidan was up to no good. Martin refused to disclose their whereabouts to a heated Zach, who told Tad to get out. Zach went to the casino and met with the backup private eye that he had dispatched to trail Martin; the man showed him pictures of Kendall and Aidan embracing. Zach began to choke the fella, convinced that Devane paid him to make Zach think that Kendall was cheating, but he swore that he was innocent.

At the boardinghouse, Kendall searched frantically for the corkscrew to continue her wine-soaked afternoon. Kendall and Aidan toasted to their new status as BFF (Best Fugitive Friends) and to being happy. A cheerful Kendall accused Aidan of trying to get her drunk. Under the influence of the wine (and possibly more?) Kendall came on to Aidan as though he were Zach. Aidan put her to bed as she called out for Zach. Downstairs, it appeared that Kendall had disrobed before an aroused Aidan.

Ryan intercepted Adam at Erica's suite and told him it was time to go to the police station to confess. Erica began to have a change of heart but Adam insisted that he needed to come clean.

At the Chandler manse, Annie began to bleed and she doubled over in pain. Scott found her unconscious and rushed to action. David tended to Annie and warned Scott that she'd lost a lot of blood.

Jesse learned that the cops had nothing new on James Beardsley or Madison. Willis showed in time for Adam's arrival. Ryan told Erica that it was "really over"; they were exultant. Erica's heart went out to Adam. As he gave his confession, Natalia tried to interrupt with the news about Annie being taken to the hospital. Ryan explained the situation and told her to hold off. Erica lamented Adam's sad situation to Jesse.

At the hospital, Scott railed at an arriving Ryan, blaming him for Annie's condition. Scott returned home and found Lucretia trying to scrub the blood out of the carpet. Scott told her to go home for the night and continued the clean-up job. Scott began to lose control of his temper and when he saw the red light on the surveillance camera, he bashed it to pieces. He retrieved the DVD that had been recording inside of it and watched Annie declaring her love for Adam and their baby.... David reported to Ryan that Annie lost the baby and was in bad shape. He got a page and ran off. Amanda caught up to David and warned him that Jake thinks that David raped her. Jake overheard Amanda telling David never to touch her again and decked him hard.... Adam was about to be taken to a cell when Erica broke the news that Annie had miscarried. "And that's not all," cautioned Erica.

Zach showed up at the boardinghouse in time to see what looked like Aidan and Kendall having sex.
