Monday
Thinking that David raped Amanda, Jake decked him. Amanda swore that David had not raped her. Angie entered and told the trio to cool their jets. Jake begged Amanda to come clean with him about what was bothering her; she remained mum. Angie and Amanda had a heart-to-heart and she confided in Angie that she had slept with David. Angie told Amanda that she had to tell Jake the truth. After a catch-up session with Jake back at the Martin house, Krystal counseled Jake to trust his instincts where David was concerned. Later, when Amanda and Jake encountered one another, she broke down crying in his arms.
Erica told Adam about Annie's miscarriage and hospitalization. He nearly passed out; Joe was summoned to examine him. Joe was stunned when Adam informed him that he was Stuart's killer.
Scott visited a comatose Annie and pleaded with her to wake up. David came to examine her. David informed Scott that Adam had confessed to Stuart's murder. Scott went to the police station and gave Jesse the DVD that Annie had made. He asked Jesse to show the footage to Adam. Adam was affected by Annie's taped declaration of love. Scott presented Adam with proof that Adam, not Scott, fathered the baby that Annie miscarried. Scott broke the news that Annie is dying.... Ryan took Emma to see Annie, then spoke to Annie alone, telling her to wake up because Emma needed her mom.... A cocky David met with the fertility doctor who he'd paid off to cancel the insemination appointment, but his confidence took a hit when the doctor made him aware that he has fertility issues of his own — ones that make it very unlikely that Trevor could be his biological son, after all.
Zach went to the boardinghouse and saw what looked like Aidan and Kendall having sex. Zach fled; Kat entered and told Aidan and Candy (Kendall's double) that their trickery had worked like a charm. Upstairs, a woozy Kendall stirred. Aidan rushed upstairs and covered when Kendall asked him why he had locked her in. Kendall told Aidan that she'd had a disturbing dream about losing Zach forever. Kendall wanted to check to see if Zach had sent her any messages. He had not. Kendall wrote Zach a message, which Aidan decided to send as is.
Erica came home in a celebratory mood, certain that Kendall would be home soon. Opal was there and told Erica that Zach had told her to take Ian over to Spike's. Erica was eager to question Zach about the instructions he had given to Opal. Zach spat that Kendall was never coming home. Convinced of Kendall's infidelity, Zach flew into a rage.
Tuesday
At the hospital, Annie woke up. Everyone was relieved. Ryan and Scott shared some harsh words. Erica gave Ryan an update on the Kendall situation, adding that she feels like something is terribly wrong. She agreed to look after Emma for a bit while he went to visit Zach. Meanwhile, at the police station, the D.A. Informed Jesse that Scott and Annie are considered accessories because they covered for the murder.
At the safe house, Tad demanded that Kat help him find Kendall and tried to get new info from her. She explained that Kendall didn't want to go home after she found out who was really responsible for the murder; Tad didn't believe her and demanded she tell him her whereabouts. Kat refused and said that Kendall and Aiden are sleeping together and then they just split.
After believing he spied Kendall having sex with Aidan, Zach returned home, trashed his living room and angrily told Liza that Kendall is "damaged" and needs some help. "She's my wife and she's dead to me," he growled. Liza told Zach he's paranoid and that Kendall's been through a lot. She reminded him that his wife's coming home now and presented papers for her to be exonerated. He refused to be the one to bring his wife home and threatened to keep her from seeing the kids. He forced Liza to leave.
JR suggested to Marissa that they skip town for a few days to get away from all the media hubbub surrounding the murder. Marissa advised him to buck up, support and defend his father during the trial and finally tell him the truth about his cancer. They went to ask Liza to represent Adam and fight for his freedom. She wasn't sure it's a good idea; Marissa assured her they all could come up with a good defense case.
Back at the hospital, Adam went to visit Annie before he was taken to jail and said he was touched by the recording she made and apologized for her losing the baby. Then he revealed that he's going to turn himself in. She implored him to not to give up, saying they've both suffered enough. Erica brought Emma in and the girl was elated to learn her mom is coming home. They talked about their secret being out and Annie told Emma that they both need to focus on protecting Adam so they can all be together. In the waiting room, Adam took responsibility for Kendall's suffering and told Erica he's sorry. La Kane was grateful but worried that he'd be swayed by Annie yet again. Jesse showed up to arrest Annie as an accessory to murder. After, he also arrested Scott.
Ryan went to see Zach, was shocked to see the house was trashed and inquired what's going on. "Different man, different bed, same Kendall," he spat. Ryan advised him to calm down but Zach refused to pick up where he left off with Kendall, then suggested that Ryan was only with Erica to wait until Kendall is free again. Outraged, Ryan punched him. Zach said they need to get a shrink to figure out why Kendall does what she does.
Liza, JR and Marissa confronted Adam at the police station about letting Liza represent him. Adam was thankful and agreed to do it so he can be with Annie again. JR railed at him for wanting to reunite with her after all the harm she's caused. Meanwhile, Tad returned to the hospital to tell Erica that he thinks Kendall's having an affair with Aidan. Ryan showed up to confirm his suspicions. Erica refused to believe that her daughter would just abandon her family and vowed to figure things out.
Wednesday
Jesse hauled Scott into the PD and announced to Liza that Scott and Annie are being charged as accessories. Adam thanked Liza for agreeing to represent his family, but she reminded him that she hasn't exactly agreed to that. Meanwhile, nuColby stormed into Annie's hospital room and told her she's been nothing but trouble for the Chandlers from the beginning. She went on to accuse Annie of using her father to get custody of Emma, but Annie suggested that if Adam hadn't shot Stuart, he might have killed himself. Colby warned Annie that she'd better do something to get her father out of this mess. Outside Annie's hospital room, Colby ran into JR and Marissa, who'd just rushed Little A into the ER with severe stomach pains.
Amanda explained to Angie why she slept with David when she did, and wondered how she's going to be able to come clean with Jake. Meanwhile, Amanda's ob/gyn informed David that he's got a "motility problem" and it's unlikely that he fathered a child a year ago. Jake ran into Amanda at the hospital with Trevor and asked if there's something wrong with the baby. Angie jumped in and explained that she was just there giving a statement for Jake and David's disciplinary hearing. Amanda asked a nurse to watch Trevor for a moment, and David swooped in to grab a DNA sample from the tot. Amanda returned just as he tucked the swab away.
At the hearing, David addressed the committee and went into detail about his arrangement with Amanda. Angie didn't really think that was necessary but agreed with David's suggestion that they work opposing shifts. Afterward, David asked Amanda how she was feeling and pointed out that her queasiness could be morning sickness. She told him to stop being so obsessed with trying to conceive, and he suggested they go take a test right now.
Scott defended Annie to Liza, explaining that Adam needed protection and Annie would do anything for him. Liza went to pay Annie a visit and asked just how she plans to defend herself this time. Later, Adam phoned Annie to let her know that Liza has decided to take their case and assured his wife that everything will be okay. Annie, however, didn't seem as confident.
Joe spoke with JR privately about Little A's condition and suggested that it may be related to his anxieties about Adam. JR returned to the examining room, where Little A was playing with Marissa and Colby, and asked him if anything had happened at school. Little Adam revealed that the teachers at school were saying bad things about his grandpa.
At the Hubbards' thanksgiving, Brot was disappointed when Natalia brought a date. Randi and Frankie gave her a hard time about it, and Natalia told them to stop trying to push her toward Brot. Meanwhile, Brot and Carlos were bro'ing down over the game. Natalia pulled him outside after Brot invited Carlos to play a pickup game the next day, and everyone heard her very loud denials from the hallway that she does NOT LIKE BROT. Before dinner, Carlos excused himself and told Natalia he feels like a third wheel. Brot chuckled to himself, and dinner got underway. Jesse made a touching toast about the people he's thankful for, and Angie rewarded him with a kiss.
Amanda arrived at Jake's after dropping Trevor off at Wildwind. He had set up a simple meal with candles and announced how lucky he feels to have a life with her and Trevor. She began to cry and asked him to try to forgive her for what she's about to confess. "I had sex with David," she tearfully admitted. Jake was speechless. Meanwhile, David received a call about test results from the ob/gyn, who asked Hayward if he's sitting down.
