Monday
Annie panicked when she became trapped inside the penthouse elevator with
Spike and Emma (who, she feared, has been poisoned by Richie). Ryan came to
their rescue and the family sped to the hospital, where, after examining
Emma, Joe concluded that the little girl had a garden variety
stomachache.... A guilt-ridden Annie admitted to Ryan that she still cares
about her brother and wonders if he still loves her, too.... Emma got the upset stomach from eating too fast; Ryan and Annie were
greatly relieved.
Zach and Greenlee butted heads when they encountered each other at the
hospital. Josh informed Zach that Greens was meeting with an ob-gyn and
expressed reservations about the plan that was in motion (as it stood to
completely crush Greenlee). Zach said he understands Josh's reasons for
wanting out of the scheme.... Greens sought info from Julia about how Zach
went about destroying her eggs and the ladies bonded over their
respective desires to become mothers.
Richie was disarmed by Lily when (initially mistaking her for Ava) he
chatted her up at the Yacht Club. The two were quick to discover common
ground as outsiders.
Aidan caught Kendall inside Greenlee's place. For the benefit of an
interrogating, suspicious Aidan, Kendall scrambled to cover her true reasons
for being in Greenlee's penthouse. Kendall was irate upon realizing that
Greens had been blabbing about their dtente to Aidan. Greens listened from
the hallway as Kendall told Aidan that she was there to apologize to Greens
for having blown up at her earlier. Greens then entered and Kendall told her
she was sorry about before.
Tuesday
Kendall came clean with Zach about the stunt she'd pulled with Greenlee the
day before. Zach urged Kendall not to waste her time on Greenlee and she
seemed to agree. After Zach left, Kendall told Spike she was sorry she had
to fib to Zach but she had to get justice for what Greens had done to Spike.
Greenlee informed Aidan of JR's claims about her still-viable embryos. Aidan
asked Greenlee if she still wanted Ryan's child after everything they'd been
through. Aidan warned Greenlee against trusting JR and expressed his
reservations about her facing motherhood on her own and keeping the child's
paternity from Ryan and the rest of her extended family. In the end, Aidan
agreed to help Greenlee investigate the validity of JR's claims, and it was
clear that Greenlee was beginning to invest heavily in the prospect of
having a baby, after all.
At the Yacht Club, Amanda pressed JR for the cash he owes her. He tried to
sweet-talk her into backing off; Amanda wasn't having it.
At home with Julia, Tad paced the floors, upset with Krystal for not coming
home the previous night or calling to check on Jenny. Tad reacted badly when
Julia theorized that Krystal had spent the night with Adam.
Following their steamy encounter, Adam surprised Krystal with breakfast in
bed. "Oh, my God," groaned a regret-filled Krystal, who was panicked over
her overnight separation from Jenny. Adam was crushed when Krystal said that
although she accepted his apology, their night of passion didn't mean they
were reconciling. Despite Adam's pleas, she insisted on leaving. Krystal
did, however, agree to let "Stuart" visit her again. Stuart then told Adam
that Krystal had kissed him, thinking he was Adam pretending to be him. Adam
was thrilled. "She knows that it's me pretending to be you! I was right! She
still loves me."
Krystal returned home to find Tad, who told her to call him in the future if
she was going to be out all night. She apologized for her behavior. She
prepared to tell him about her night with Adam.
Wednesday
Hannah came to see Adam at the manse and told him that JR and Zach were
involved in a plot having something to do with Greenlee. Hannah then tried
to sever her ties to Adam, announcing, "I'm out." Adam made it clear to
Hannah that she wasn't free to go until he said she was, lording over her
head that she'd been lovers with Alexander, Sr. Hannah lunged at Adam; he
fought her off.
Krystal came clean with an upset Tad about her night with Adam. They
exchanged harsh words as Tad expressed his disappointment with Krystal for
caving to her attraction to Adam; Tad even went so far as to forcibly send
Krystal to her room (in the form of a closet) for a time. Once released,
Krystal said she wasn't going back to Adam. Tad then went to the Comeback,
where he ran into Hannah. Krystal, meanwhile, received a visit from Stuart
(really a disguised Adam, as she was fully aware).
Babe was cold to Richie when they ran into each other in the park. He told
her about Ryan giving him a job. Babe told Richie to stop pursuing her.
Richie insisted to Babe that he's an innocent man, set up to look like a
psycho by his sister. Richie left after disarming Babe and leaving her
confused about what to believe. She also dug an empty bottle of pills that
he'd thrown away out of the trash.
Annie reeled from Ryan's revelation that he'd hired Richie. Ryan made Annie
aware of the camera he had installed in Richie's office but she wasn't
soothed. Ryan then surprised Annie with a romantic celebration of their
relationship and Spike's imminent cochlear implant surgery. After they made
love and she fell asleep, Ryan watched Richie in his office — and
Richie,
having noticed the camera, grinned directly at him.
At home with Lily, Ava expressed remorse over her mohawk. Lily told Ava that
she'd met a man, Richard. Ava pumped Lily for details. Ava made Lily promise
to tell her before she saw Richard again and agree to tell Lily if she ever
wanted to do something crazy like shave her head into a mohawk again.
Thursday
Krystal thanked Stuart (really Adam in disguise) for stopping by to do some
painting. To themselves, Krystal and Adam wondered how long they were going
to keep up this ruse. Krystal almost broke the pretense but stopped herself.
She did, however, utter the words, "I need you." She told "Stuart" that
she needs him to keep coming to see her.
At the Comeback, Hannah interrupted a flirting session between Tad and a
patron by planting a passionate kiss on Tad. Tad then greeted Aidan on the
patio, where he was investigating JR's claim that Greenlee's embryos
survived the blackout. Tad and Hannah bonded over the bad mornings they'd
had (though they didn't name names, hers was with Adam and his was with
Krystal about Adam).... Colby was stressed out about what was happening in
her house and opened up about it to Dre.... Tad and Hannah left
together.
JR and Zach met up at the park so that JR could give Zach a progress report
on Project Get Rid Of Greenlee.
Erica came to see Kendall and Spike upon her return from Paris. Erica called
out Kendall about having tried to get her out of town. Kendall explained why
she believes that Greenlee remains a threat to her family and filled Erica
in on the trap she's been laying for Greenlee. Erica thought it was too
risky, but Kendall wouldn't be deterred. Erica volunteered to figure out if
Greenlee did have a plan in the works but wouldn't say how she intended to
find out.
Greenlee went to see Jack for his advice about the baby issue. Greens was
touched when Jack expressed his approval and said he thought she'd be a good
mom. Jack's enthusiasm waned when Greens revealed that the child she had
would also be Ryan's. Greenlee insisted that this wasn't about Ryan —
it was
about the baby. Erica returned home before Jack could answer when Greens
asked Jack if she could count on him to remain silent. Greens left and
phoned Aidan, who reported that he was trying to gain access to Cambias's
computer. Shortly thereafter, Zach informed JR that Aidan has just hacked
into his computer..... While Kendall assured Spike that she was safe for
Greenlee (and polished a gun while doing so), Zach arrived home unexpectedly
and Erica warned Jack that Greenlee was planning to kidnap Spike again.
Friday
In Richie's office, Ryan, slammed Richie against a wall and ordered him not
to think about Spike — or even speak his name. When Richie revealed
that he'd done research on cochlear implants, Ryan reluctantly listened to
what he had to say. It turned out Richie had gathered all sorts of data on
the top doctors, the best time to have the surgery performed etc. Lavery
remained dubious, Richie remained glib.
Kendall slipped a handgun into Spike's diaper bag, saying Greenlee was going
to get what she deserves. When Zach proposed spending the day at the lake, a
flustered Kendall insisted that Spike had a can't-miss play date. A
persistent Zach suggested that they get together later on, but she claimed
she had too much work to do at Fusion. Talk turned to Greenlee, and Kendall
admitted that she feels the need to keep her guard up with her former pal.
Erica begged Jack to tell her what Greenlee said to him, but Jack maintained
that Greens is entitled to her privacy. La Kane shifted gears by
recommending that Greens take a glamorous job ... in Paris. Jack shot down
the idea, remarking that Erica is not going to run his daughter out of town.
Erica ominously predicted that unless Greenlee leaves town, their daughters
"are going to rip each other apart." When Jack wouldn't do what she wanted,
Erica left in a huff.
With Aidan's help, Greenlee found evidence that her viable embryos still
exist. As she wistfully watched children in the park, Aidan cautioned her
not to get her hopes up. He questioned how easily the information was
accessed, pointing out that Zach might be playing Greens. She vowed to get
the truth from Slater via Kendall. Pulling out her cell phone, Greenlee
immediately called Kendall, who chattered about the play date and added that
they'd meet in the park. Greenlee realized that Zach must be within earshot
and prepared to spill the beans, but Aidan grabbed the phone from her,
warning her that she'd regret it if she made the accusation to Kendall. Back
at the Slaters' residence, Zach put his hand on the diaper bag, and Kendall
barked at him not to touch it. She covered by claiming that she didn't want
him to see Spike's Halloween costume and exited. Back at the park, Aidan
explained to Greenlee that if they're right about Zach, tipping him off
might mean she'll never get the embryos. He urged her to play it cool.
At The Comeback, Babe was short-tempered with Annie, accusing her of turning
on her own brother. Annie warned that Richie is not the man he claims to be.
Babe announced that Annie's brother has a physical illness and recounted
finding the pill bottle he tossed in the trash. She handed the bottle to
Babe,
who scoffed that it might be a fake.
As Adam dined on a lunch of crab cakes at the Chandler mansion, JR boasted
that his launch is going swimmingly, but clammed up when his dad poked
around for information. The elder Chandler revealed that he knows about JR's
alliance with Zach and also figured out that Greenlee is somehow involved.
Adam cautioned that whatever JR's up to might backfire. An irked JR accused
his father of not wanting to see him succeed and departed.
After Richie made a remark about "making a move" against his sister and
Ryan, Lavery crowed that he has the ex-con's threat on camera. They were
interrupted by Annie, who barged in to ask why her brother didn't tell her
he's dying.
Erica charged in to Adam's living room, saying she needed to do something
"heinous" and needed his help since he's the only person "hateful enough" to
show her how. Meanwhile in the park, Kendall rearranged things in the bag
with the gun. When she heard a woman's voice say that she thought Greenlee
would be there first, Kendall looked up in surprise.
