Kendall got to the hospital and learned that Jake is her community service supervisor. Leona, with whom she was working, sniffed that Kendall probably thought she was too good to scrub toilets, but Kendall explained that she was just preoccupied by her marital troubles. Jake got a call from Zach, who sought his help. Amanda showed up and Jake told her that Zach had called to ask him for a favor related to Doctors Without Borders. Jake admitted that it may be dangerous, but Amanda gave her consent for him to leave provided that he promise to make it home safely. Jake quickly changed his mind, saying he couldn't leave his family.
At the prison, Ryan assured Greenlee that he believes in her and is certain that she'll get through this dark time. Ryan left; Kendall showed up, having been reassigned to scrubbing floors at the prison. Greens realized that Ryan had arranged for her to have some company. Greens admitted that she had felt a connection with Ryan when he visited. Kendall made Greenlee's day by asking her for her input on some Fusion designs.
Damon and Liza literally ran into each other at the park. Liza became privy to the fact that Damon is looking for a job. After Damon dashed off, Madison approached Liza to beg her not to put her on the stand. "I lied," Mad claimed. She told a dubious Liza that she felt threatened by Greens, hence the fib. Ryan caught the tail end of their conversation and Mad fled. Ryan went after her; Liza briefly tailed him to make it clear that she didn't buy what Madison said about having lied about hearing Greenlee say she wanted David dead. Ryan caught up to Madison at the penthouse and told her he knew she had tried to cover her tracks with Liza, which he appreciated. Ryan told Madison that he knows she's a changed woman and swept her into a passionate kiss. They made love and cuddled as Greens sat alone in her cell.
At Krystal's, Colby was worried that she couldn't find Damon and told Tad that Damon had passed the GED. When Damon entered, Tad and Colby congratulated him. He downplayed the accomplishment. Damon met with a career counselor, with whom things quickly went south when Damon let it slip that he has a police record. Damon's spirits sank. Tad left to go to talk to Jake. Liza came into the restaurant and offered Damon as a job as her new filing clerk. Damon was suspicious of Liza's motives; she asked if Damon would occasionally let her know how Colby is doing. He said that would be okay. Colby approached and Damon told her that Liza had offered him a job.... Tad got sound advice from Jake about handling Damon. When he returned to Krystal's, Colby urged him to tell Damon not to take the job. Tad said it was up to Damon. "Looks like you've got yourself a new clerk," Damon told Liza. Amanda brought Trevor to see Jake at the hospital; the Martins smooched. At Wildwind alone, Kendall thought about Zach.
Tuesday
JR made calls to Annie's party attendees telling them not to come. Asher entered and JR told him to let him handle Mrs. Chandler. Upstairs, Annie got ready for the bash and tried to get Colby to agree not to crash it. Colby was confident that Annie would ruin the party all by herself. After dispatching Colby and Asher, JR told Annie that he'd stay out of her hair that night. Colby and Asher went to ConFusion, where she questioned Asher about his relationship with JR. Back at the house, JR made calls in search of the perfect custody attorney. Annie was upset to find JR still at the house, noting that her guests would be there any minute. As a storm raged outside, Annie became concerned that Scott wouldn't be home in time for the party. Annie welcomed a reporter to cover the event and rushed JR out.
Marissa met with Caleb about the custody case. Caleb told Marissa that they had to prove that JR is an unfit father. Marissa confessed to having slept with Scott. Caleb advised Marissa to get as far away from the Chandlers as possible. At Krystal's, Colby and Marissa had words over Marissa's decision to sue JR for custody. Krystal defended her daughter to Colby. Colby was stunned when Krystal told her that it was Asher who had bashed Caleb on the head. JR went to Krystal's to speak to her about Marissa's custody bid. At Wildwind, Caleb had more flashbacks of the woman screaming for help.
At the loft, Angie insisted to Jesse that she was fine to go to work. Angie went to work and addressed the staff. Jesse asked Jake if he could borrow him. He brought Jake home, where he explained that he wanted to "go blind" in order to better understand what his wife was going through. Angie read Frankie the riot act for breaking hospital policy in an effort to help her with her workload. Later, Angie apologized to Frankie for coming down on him so hard. Frankie and Angie went back to the house and Jake and Jesse told them about how Jesse had fared blindfolded.
Annie left a frantic message for Scott. Caleb was the first guest to arrive at the party (other than the party planner and reporter). He told Annie that he needed to speak with her alone. Caleb broke the news that JR had sabotaged the party; the reporter overheard. Scott called Annie with the news that his plane had landed — in Florida. Alone in the mansion, Annie began sobbing. JR returned home as Annie was throwing a fit in the living room.
Asher went to Wildwind and was in the process of breaking in when Caleb caught him. "You must have a death wish," seethed Caleb.
Wednesday
A sobbing Annie asked JR why he had destroyed her party. Annie dashed into the storm; JR pulled her back into the house. Annie made it clear to JR just how much he had hurt her by ruining her shot at gaining respect. A chastened JR apologized and told Annie that he'd only done what he did because he wanted her and couldn't stand seeing her with Scott. He begged her to give them a chance. "You need this as much as I do," he said. He kissed her and carried her upstairs. As they had passionate sex, Scott arrived home to find the living room in disarray. After making love to JR, Annie was filled with regret. Scott went upstairs and found JR and Annie lying naked together.
Kendall tried to get Bianca to lure Zach to town on her behalf. Binks advised her to be honest with Zach.
Greenlee met with her attorney, who questioned her story regarding David's death. She promptly fired him. Jack arrived and Greenlee apologized to him for what she had put him through. He accepted her apology, said he was sorry for not having been there for her, and assured her that he believes in her innocence. Greens told Jack about how David had found out that she'd been working with Ryan to get out of her marriage.
Caleb caught Asher trying to break into Wildwind. When a car pulled up, Asher took the opportunity to dash off. Caleb's visitor was Erica, who jumped into his arms when the storm frightened her. Inside, she complimented his cleaned-up look. She said she'd come home early so that Jack could be there for Greenlee, then excused herself to check on her grandchildren. Back downstairs, Erica and Caleb discussed JR having taken Cortlandt away from him. Caleb told Erica about his name change. Bianca called; Erica told her and Kendall to come home straight away. Caleb left for Krystal's and told her about his encounter with Asher. Caleb revealed that Erica was back. Caleb left when Krystal peppered him with questions about his reunion with La Kane.
Colby left a message for Damon, who was working late for Liza. Asher climbed through her window and said he was avoiding the elements. Colby demanded answers regarding Asher's attack on Colby. He claimed that he had done it for the Chandlers. Asher claimed that he'd come in through the window because Caleb had chased him through the woods. Asher started peeling off his wet clothes. She told him he couldn't walk around naked, but he could spend the night at the mansion. Colby called Asher out about avoiding talking about himself.
Erica, Kendall and Bianca had a warm reunion at Wildwind. The girls filled Erica in on what was going on with Ryan and the murder investigation. Erica was hopeful that Kendall would be able to work things out with Zach. Erica was none too happy that Kendall and Greenlee were back on better terms, noting that at best, Greens had been David's plane-crash-causing accomplice. Binks was evasive about how things were between her and Reese. Kendall went to see Jack and Greenlee at the prison. Jack left after assuring his daughter that they would fix everything. Greens told Kendall that she'd told Jack everything — except about having found the digitalis in Ryan's pocket. "How pissed is Erica?" asked Greens. Kendall said that Erica was more concerned about Kendall's marriage. Kendall said she would handle Erica for Greens. Back at Wildwind, Caleb walked in on Erica gushing to Bianca about how wonderful her time with Zach was. The kids ran downstairs and Erica was tickled by the sight of Miranda and Spike climbing all over Caleb. Jack went to Wildwind, was cordial to Caleb, and embraced Bianca. Jack learned that Caleb was planning to stay in Pine Valley.
Thursday
Annie was mortified when Scott caught her in bed with JR. He ordered her to leave. Annie made JR go downstairs so that she could try to plead her case to Scott, who was not interested in hearing Annie's rationale.
Jack left Wildwind to work on Greenlee's case; Erica stayed behind to talk to Caleb about getting Cortlandt back from the Chandlers. Erica thought Caleb needed her help for his mission. Caleb agreed to hear her out and, at her request, filled her in on what was going on with JR and Annie. Erica thought he should use the situation to his advantage. Accidentally leaving behind a scarf, she went home to make love to Jack.
Marissa told Krystal that she had to go to the mansion to get something for AJ. When she got there, she found the living room in disarray. JR told her not to go upstairs. They bickered. Marissa heard arguing upstairs. Annie came downstairs and left after telling JR to stay away from her. Marissa went to Wildwind to show Caleb a cell phone shot of the mess at the mansion. "Maybe we could use this as evidence," she suggested. Caleb approved.
Krystal opened up to Opal about her concerns over the upcoming custody battle for AJ. Opal doled out relationship advice to Krystal, who got a text from Jack. Opal convinced Krystal to join her at ConFusion, where they encountered Jack and Erica. Erica took Opal aside to catch up; Krystal assured Jack that she's available to work for him during the trial.
JR and Scott came face-to-face in the living room. JR gloated to Scott, who called him an arrogant bastard and a fool. In the midst of their argument and trading of threats, Caleb showed up; JR had just made a reference to Scott stealing from "a dead man" (Palmer). Caleb asked to speak to Scott.
A distraught Annie met with Amanda at ConFusion. She confessed that she'd slept with JR. Amanda wondered if Annie loved JR. Anne insisted that she had been happy with Scott and lamented that she still desired JR. Erica called Caleb. Caleb told JR what he'd overheard at the Chandler house. La Kane hung up when she spied Annie being consoled by Amanda.
Friday
Greenlee woke up in jail, startled. She briefly panicked and recalled Ryan's encouragement to help calm her down. Jack stopped by for the bail request rehearing. He vowed to be there to get Greens through and apologized for turning his back on his daughter before.
Madison presented Ryan with a burned omelet and they shared a sweet moment as he gave her a key to his place. She was stunned and reminded him that it's a big step. He was ready to take the leap. Later, Madison brought up Henry and admitted her past still sneaks up on her sometimes but that she feels safest when she's with Ryan. They brought up Green's hearing; Madison assured him that she's completely fine with him helping his ex.
Erica paid Caleb a visit to say that she knows how to get Cortlandt back from the Chandlers. She suggested that she can get Annie, the desperate woman in the middle, to open up. "If Annie knows what Scott stole, I can get it out of her," La Kane assured and pointed out that she's done a lot for herself and is capable of helping him.
At the Chandler manse, Colby saw Scott angrily cleaning out his closet in his room and told her about catching Annie and JR having sex. "Again?" she asked. "In your bed?" She tried to console him and told him and said it's for the best. Meanwhile, Annie frantically phoned Scott and was eager to find him. JR Entered and she demanded that he go away, convinced that he purposefully tried to destroy her happiness. She was upset that she ruined
everything, especially for her daughter. She railed at him for causing everyone pain for his own selfish reasons and was upset at herself for believing that JR really cared about her. JR pointed out the brutal truth that she doesn't love Scott and reminded her about their own intense connection. Annie was upset and pointed out that JR never claimed to love her like Scott did. "I hate you!" she screamed and said they'll never be together, adding that they'd lose everything. Back upstairs, Colby warned Scott that JR and Annie are downstairs. He angrily threw a picture frame and stormed out.
At Greens's hearing, Liza and Jack faced off in front of the judge
presenting both sides of the case. Liza reminded the judge that Greens is a flight risk; Jack made a personal guarantee that she wouldn't leave town. So, the judge set the bail at $100,000. Greens was elated to be free.
At Krystal's, Caleb sidled up next to Scott to talk about family feuds and partnerships, suggesting that he has to fight even dirtier than JR if he intends to get what he wants. Scott said it's not in his blood and he takes after his father; Caleb advised a different approach.
Erica showed up at the Chandler manse, much to JR and Annie's surprise. She asked to talk to Annie and pointed out how ragged Annie looks before asking her to appear on a magazine cover. Annie was dubious about Erica's sudden kindness so Erica made it clear that she knows about JR and Scott's fight about stealing from a "dead man" and she thinks it's Palmer. She fished around to see if Annie knows anything about it; Annie was clearly flustered and asked her to go. Before she did, Erica made a final dig and acknowledged that Annie's world is falling apart once again. Later, Erica recounted the encounter to Caleb and said she's certain Annie knows the truth. Caleb surmised that it must be big enough to take down Chandler. Erica could tell that he was getting a kick out of the drama. They agreed to team up by using their own tactics to fight Chandler. Erica pointed out that it will be a lot of work, especially since she also has a wedding to plan.
Colby confronted JR for hurting everyone around him. He wasn't regretful and said he'll hurt anyone to get what he wants. Later, JR caught Annie frantically phoning Scott about something big regarding the company. She worried that everything is ruined. "Erica knows!" she said, explaining that she overheard him arguing with Scott. JR was certain they could still pull it off and asked for her help by recruiting Scott to assist them. Annie was livid that JR would even consider such a thing after what he's done to Scott.
Jack, Greenlee and Ryan celebrated with champagne at ConFusion. Greens was stunned that Ryan summoned Jack to come assist his daughter. Madison showed up, presented Greens with a sales report and stayed at Ryan's request; Greens was clearly miffed. Madison apologized for what she said to Liza about Greens threatening to kill David and extended a peace offering by inviting Greens over to dinner; she accepted through clenched teeth.
Colby was scared when a vengeful, determined Scott said he was going to fight JR by stooping to his own level. He left and overheard Annie and JR bickering in the living room, then flashed back to finding them in bed together.
