Kendall, watching the marathon on TV in the secret room, saw Ryan dancing with Annie and wondered, "Has the whole world gone insane? Mom, where are you?" Tad announced Erica's ankle was okay, and she'd be returning to the dance floor ASAP. Zach, dancing with Liza, questioned how much information Ryan was getting out of Annie. Tad interrupted to tell them they were voted the sexiest couple in the marathon, throwing Kendall's jealousy into overdrive.

Annie said to Ryan she's not the one in danger of people snooping around about Stuart's murder: She was protecting Emma. She admitted sneaking into the Chandler house that night, to take Emma away, but wasn't able to do so. She tried to get Emma to stay in the nursery, but Emma snuck downstairs by herself. She intimated Emma found Kendall's dropped gun and was the shooter. Annie begged Ryan to keep silent. Otherwise, Emma might be taken away. He said he'd do anything to protect Emma. Annie: "Even keeping Kendall in jail?" Ryan: "Yes." During their break, Annie told Ryan he hoped he could see her point of view, and that they would continue to get along, but that she was really in love with Adam.

Liza and Zach saw Ryan and Annie arguing, and Liza suggested Zach join forces with Ryan. He did not want to and said he didn't trust Ryan, or anyone for that matter. Liza pulled him into a kiss as she saw Tad approaching, getting them another dance break, to talk. Kendall, still watching, spit out, "You bitch!" to Liza. Ryan sought out Zach and Liza to tell them two things: He was angry that Zach had taken Emma to see Annie, and what Annie told him. But Ryan admitted he still believed Annie was the killer — he wanted to pretend to help her protect Emma. When Annie walked in, Ryan punched Zach to make it look like they had been fighting. It worked. Liza offered that maybe Zach did not want to see Kendall out of prison, because he was still angry at her and Ryan for sleeping together. At that moment, Kendall was sneaking into the marathon.

David, dancing with Amanda, was buying her plan to make him think she believed he had changed, and felt sorry for his past behavior regarding Trevor. She continued trying to snow him. David explained that losing all his children made Trevor his last possible chance of having a child he could raise, and Amanda agreed: it's crazy what you'll do for your children.

Natalia, dancing with Brot, wondered where her family was. Jesse and Frankie entered the ladies room, where they found Taylor unconscious in one of the stalls. They asked her what happened, and where Randi was. Taylor said that Randi hit her. Jesse took Taylor to get her injury looked at, while Frankie found Randi in Angie's arms. Angie said Randi had been scared out of her mind. Randi insisted Madison was at the marathon. Jesse told Randi she had hit Taylor in the ladies room, not Madison. Later, dancing with Angie, Jesse admitted he thought Madison might have killed her husband, not Randi. Angie agreed: Madison was behind all of it.

Jesse asked Angie to tend to Taylor. Angie told Taylor she had a slight bump, nothing serious, and not to take Randi's behavior personally: "Everyone's acting a little crazy tonight." Angie proclaimed Randi was also fine, for the moment, and she and Frankie returned to the marathon. Madison, hiding, watched them go. Frankie told Randi she was safe in his arms. Randi confessed she believed she got the Hubbards into "this whole mess." But she said as long as she was in his arms, no one could hurt her. Natalia and Brot danced near Jesse, and she asked Jesse why he'd been showing Madison's picture around. He said, "Leave it to me."

Tad arrived, and learned of Taylor's injury: "Dancing on your head?" he asked. She explained Randi mistook her for someone else. They flirted, and he made sure she was okay. She told him he was really great as the emcee of the marathon and left.

Jake entered ConFusion and saw Trevor with the nanny. Jake wanted to hold him, because the baby was crying, and the nanny finally gave in. Once Jake took Trevor, he immediately quieted down. Amanda, on a time-out from dancing, saw Jake with the baby and panicked because David would be there soon. She told Jake that David bought her snow job. Jake responded that David would say anything to reel her in. Jake walked away as David showed up; Amanda watched David with the baby. Tad arrived and assured Jake that Amanda didn't blame him: everyone was in on the baby-switch scheme, even Amanda. Hayward would blow it, Tad said: "Once David gets what he wants, it's over. He'll self-destruct." Everything would be fine. Jake asked Tad if everything had been fine between him and Krystal after David got through with them.

Tad announced a dance competition: the winner would get a 15-minute rest break. Natalia refused to dance, but Brot shamed her into it. The winners were Frankie and Randi. Tad allowed Jesse and Angie to accompany them, as an angry Madison watched, still hiding. Frankie went to get them something to drink and spied Madison, who pushed him down and ran away. He followed her. Jesse called Natalia looking for Frankie, and she told them he'd just run by the judges. Up on the roof, Frankie cornered Madison, who threatened to jump if he came any closer. Zach spotted Kendall, followed her downstairs, and asked her to leave before someone saw her. Aidan walked in on them and said, "Someone already did."
