AMC Week of September 24, 2007 Recaps
Monday
Krystal walked in to the mansion as Tad was telling Adam that he's in love
with Krystal. Krystal sent Tad home and Adam accused her of wanting to be
alone with him.... At The Comeback, Tad admitted to Joe that he's not really
in love with Krystal and that he's lonely.... Krystal and Adam's attraction
was obvious despite their attempts to fight it. She walked out of the
mansion with a heavy heart. Adam ran to stop her, but he lost his
nerve.
Kendall and Zach sat down with Jason, the little boy with cochlear implants.
Jason's comments changed Kendall's attitude about Spike's deafness. Over
dinner at The Comeback, the Slaters discussed their encounter with Jason.
Kendall told Zach she thinks that if Spike got the cochlear
implants, Greenlee would feel like the accident she caused wasn't so
horrible, after all. She and then Zach agreed to approach the issue with the
sole focus on what is best for Spike. Zach was moved when Kendall sought
more info about the implants from Joe.
Annie nearly collapsed upon looking at the John Doe in the morgue. She told
Ryan that the corpse was not her brother. Annie was upset — knowing
Richie was still out there. Back at home, Ryan asked Annie to let him buy
her a gun. She refused. Ryan left to do some more digging into Richie's
past. Annie stayed behind and opened the door as if resigned to the fact
that Richie was going to get to her sooner or later.
On the beach, Aidan pressed Greenlee to recall the details of the night he
was attacked there. Aidan showed Greenlee the rock that was used to assail
him and Greens realized he suspects that Annie was the one who clubbed him.
Reluctantly, Aidan divulged that the locket belongs to Annie and that Ryan
and Annie think Annie's brother is after them. Aidan and Greenlee grew
closer and began making out on the sand. Ryan's arrival interrupted their
passionate play.
Tuesday
JR took Amanda on a date to ConFusion, where Jonathan and Ava were also
enjoying each other's company. Ava recalled her kiss with JR, but remained
mum about it to Jon, who tried to warn her off doing business with JR. When
Babe and Wes showed up on their date, JR exhibited some jealousy. Amanda
insisted on Wes and Babe joining her and JR. When the men went up to the
bar, Amanda and Babe bickered about Amanda's relationship with JR before
making amends. JR lustily watched Ava from afar then returned to his table.
Amanda grabbed JR and left so that Babe and Wes could continue their date in
privacy. Amanda noted JR's interest in Ava, who took Jon back to Wildwind
for a sexual romp.
Hannah snooped in Zach's office; he caught her in the act. Lily and Josh
soon entered and Lily made reference to Josh and Hannah's sex-in-the-office
days. Zach asked them to leave and Hannah asked for the letter she'd
written, explaining what motivated her to press him to impregnate her. Zach
returned it unread. Later, while Zach was distracted by thoughts of Hannah,
Josh showed up at Hannah's hotel room and they hit the sheets.
Ryan caught Greenlee and Aidan necking on the beach and demanded to speak to
Aidan alone. Greenlee made herself scarce. Ryan refused to consider Aidan's
theory that Annie was his (Aidan's) attacker and informed Aidan about the
connection between the dead robber and Richie. Aidan told Ryan that he would
only continue to work for him if he called his goons off Greenlee. Ryan
agreed so long as Aidan consented to keeping an eye on Greenlee himself.
Greenlee thanked Aidan for making the deal, but unbeknownst to them, Ryan
actually ordered an increase in the surveillance on Greens.
Kendall went to the NEW BEGINNINGS studio to see Erica. La Kane was braced
for the worst but Kendall assured her that she wasn't mad at her for
arranging for her to encounter young Jason. Erica was thrilled when Kendall
told her that she and Ryan were going to explore the option of cochlear
implants. Erica had a bad reaction to Kendall's news that she was working
with Greenlee again. Erica excused herself for a moment and Kendall took a
call from Greens, who warned her that because she was still being followed,
their secret talking-again status stood to be exposed. La Kane overheard
part of Kendall's call and confronted her once Kendall hung up. Kendall
admitted that her plan was to get rid of Greenlee once and for all. She
swore Erica to secrecy.
Wednesday
Aidan applied fake tattoos to Greenlee in preparation for the undercover
operation she had talked her way into helping him with. As "Mrs. Johnson,"
Greenlee went into the police station to retrieve the personal belongings of
Eddie, the dead robber. Greens scrambled when the cop she spoke to wanted to
summon Derek. Her improv was successful and Aidan, listening via wire, was
pleased — until Jack arrived. Aidan ran interference but in the end,
Jack saw a disguised Greens and Aidan together and demanded to know what was
going on.
At the penthouse, Ryan questioned Annie about why she had unlocked all the
doors and windows. Annie explained that if Richie was coming after her,
there was nothing she could do to stop it. "I just want it over," she
declared. Ryan convinced his distressed wife to go on a relaxing vacation
with him. After they left the house, someone entered....
On the beach, Sean took pics of Dre, Corrina and Ren and grew closer to his
new pals. Dre remained unusually tight-lipped, however.
Colby joined Adam for breakfast at the manse; they then bonded over an
impromptu fishing trip and Colby was affected when Adam became emotional
over the mistakes he's made with his loved ones. He apologized to Colby and
she assured him that she loves him.
Krystal cuddled Jenny and tried to shake off thoughts of Adam. Tad gave
Krystal a hard time about her feelings for Adam. Krystal berated Tad for
trying to involve himself in her personal life but acknowledged that she
still loves Adam. Krystal vowed not to succumb to being an "Adam
Chandler-holic." She then paid a visit to Adam to tell him to ask Stuart to
stop dropping by the house. "Stuart will be crushed," said Adam. Krystal
stuck to her guns.
Thursday
At the Slater house, Erica nearly blew the lid off Kendall's scheme to get
revenge on Greenlee, but they managed to cover. Meanwhile, outside of the
police station, Jack lost his cool with Aidan and Greenlee when he saw
Greens in her undercover garb. While Aidan tried to soothe Jack, Greenlee
called Kendall and during their chat, Greens revealed her relationship with
Aidan. Post-call, Erica warned Kendall to be careful. When Erica returned
home to Jack, she felt guilty that she was conspiring with Kendall against
his daughter.... Aidan and Greenlee rummaged through the dead robber's
belongings and Aidan called the last number the cell phone had dialed: It
was Annie's voicemail.
Zach was displeased when Hannah showed up at the hospital and made it clear
that he doesn't trust her. Zach then asked Hannah for her help with
Greenlee. Once alone, Hannah called a mysterious someone and said things
were "going exactly as planned."
At ConFusion, Ava met up with (and flirted with) JR. Ava informed JR that
Jonathan wasn't going to invest in JR's business. Babe (who was a little
distracted by the sight of JR and Ava together) and Wes flirted and
continued to grow closer. She promised to stop bending his ear about JR (at
least for the day). After sharing a kiss, Wes took Babe to a batting
cage.... JR encouraged Ava to quit Fusion.
Friday
Hannah came to Zach to discuss her idea for a plan to get rid of Greenlee:
Destroy Fusion to sever the tie between Greens and Kendall. Zach nixed the
scheme. Lily revealed to the duo that JR has plans to launch a cosmetics
network. Zach intended to use the info to his advantage.
Kendall broke into Greenlee's penthouse and was besieged by memories of her
friendship with Greenlee that almost made her change her mind about
sabotaging her erstwhile pal. Then she thought about her pal and her
determination to do in Greens redoubled.
Aidan reported to Greenlee that the dead robber's last phone call had been
to Annie. Aidan believed that Annie was being framed. They looked at the
robber's cell phone pictures; Aidan believed he isolated a photo of Richie.
Ryan and Annie enjoyed their time on the island, though she acknowledged
that Richie remained very much on her mind. Ryan proposed that they have
another child. After a lovemaking session with his wife, Ryan took a call
from Aidan, who reported on his findings back in Pine Valley. Aidan told
Ryan that he was going to email the picture from the robber's phone. Ryan
received it — and although Ryan didn't realize it yet, Wes and Richie
were
one and the same. Babe and "Wes", meanwhile, had a blast on their second
date.... Annie saw the pic on Ryan's computer and confirmed that the man was
her brother.
Greenlee and Aidan's return to her place made Kendall (who was still inside)
panic.
At The Comeback, JR did his best to wheel and deal to get funders for his
venture. He approached Jonathan and tried to talk him into recommending the
new company to Ryan. Jon wasn't biting. Before long, a verbal war escalated
between the men. After Jon left, Zach arrived and approached JR to make him
an offer.
