AMC used a very worthy cause, feed the children, by putting on this whole marathon just to shove the awful Annie and Liza in our faces, not to raise money for a worthy cause..and further cheapened it with that disgusting scene with Erica and Ryan on the desk in the office. Yes I know all kinds of things usually happen during any big event on soaps, but this was a travesty, it had no class, no glamour , nothing. When AMC used to have class, they put on a charity ball with people dressed in formal wear in a lovely setting, not in an office with filing cabinets in the background with sweaty bodies up close. It was cheaply produced and looked more like the office Christmas party.
There are real starving children that were in that film that was shown and they should have been respected. AMC you should be ashamed of yourself! This cause was deserving of something more dignified.
Instead we got the pathetic and stiff as a board Liza trying to seduce a married man, the hateful and hated Annie on a pass (and since when do prisoners get passes to attend dances?) rubbing up against her fiance's nephew while her fiance watches. I have no words for the idiocy that is Jake and Amanda and David. Why wasn't that baby at home asleep? .Can you please tell me why you would bring an infant to an all night dance marathon?
Erica and Ryan weren't only disgusting because of the familial ties, but because of the tastless attempt AMC made to make this out to be a charity event when it resembled a tawdry dance contest at the local corner bar.

How is AMC supposed to be better in LA and survive if Pratt continues to write this show in such a sleazy manner and focuses on characters the fans hate?

I would rather see it cancelled than to see it fall into such ruin under this head writer. The actors deserve better than this.
Hang your head in shame AMC!

I wondered when someone was going to mention the fact that those morons kept a baby in a bar for over 19 hours when he should have been home in his crib!! Every time they had a scene with the baby, I wanted to throw something at the damned TV. You are absolutely right. This dance marathon for charity was an atrocity on every level.
