I'm sadden to say the least though not necessarily surprised. Recently I've only been able to watch the show once or twice a week and that's not based on availability but on the show it's self. The stories have been riducles and rehashes of past stories from Holden dying again to this stupid Damien Lily "reunion" and the dumb ghost story. It's painful to watch. There are bright spots (Carly/Jack/Janet) but they have been few and far between, I already don't watch CBS anymore after ATWT in the afternoon so I guess they are on their way to me not watching their channel at all. My hours and dollars will go to another network. I hope their happy because I'm sure not.

That is awful. I am so sorry to hear that. My grandmother loved that show. I watched off and on for years. I love Liz Hubbard. She is amazing and I am sorry for her and everyone. This is where the industry is going. In a few years they all will be gone. It is such a shame. But the world the way it is no one is watching cause they are working and in some cases the stories are awful such as All My Kids and all. Sorry for the fans.

I am very sad about this I only hope now that the show has been cancelled ,they will really amp up the nukes storyline and really go for it,if somre other network picks up the show or at least the nukes storyline.i will follow

While I haven't watched the show in years, I was a big fan at one point and I'm sad to hear it's being canceled.

Well, i was sad to hear that but not entirely surprised. I figured once GL was gone the rest would soon follow. I haven't watched much in the last few years but followed it loosely. Only watching on days off and sick days. I know how it feels thought. I came over from Another World. Another soap that got cancelled. I'll be sorry to see it go now i'm only down to GH and that's barely watchable too.

I am scared that this is just the beginning and that more CBS soaps will be canceled. In four months-will we read that another CBS soap is going off the air? I understand ratings drive decisions, but do silly game shows draw more people than good soaps? Thanks for letting me ask and vent!

I'm completely with you! I hate Let's Make a Deal. The second it comes on; I change the channel for two reasons: 1-I hate game shows in general and 2-it's in the GL spot so I refuse to watch anything on CBS in that time slot. I'll take my viewing dollars to another channel. So when ATWT goes so will another hour of my time. The Nielson Ratings are an antiquated idiotic way to determin viewership. Until that is fixed who knows what other great shows will go by the way-side! harumph!!!!!!!!!

I'm with you Skyebug as soon as ATWT is over I change the channel and when ATWT is canceled I will NOT watch what is put on in it's place. This is really sad!BTW, loved the harrumph totally reminded me of Nymphie all that was missing was this--------- HARRUMPH

I agree, I hate that ATWT is going off the air and I hate that GLwent off also. I have watched the shows for years and when my grandmother was alive she watched them from the very first show that aired and I watch with her off and on.So when ATWT goes off, I will watch another station other than CBS. There's to much junk on the soaps, so no wonder they're being cancelled. Step it up CBS!!!!
