I wasn't a Shelle fan so I'm not terribly heartbroken but I do think it was a stupid move to get rid of them. They had a lot of fans, and they have been a pretty big part of the show. I can name half a dozen others I would get rid of before either of them that's for sure. And they're contantly wasting money on new (or old in some cases) pointless characters, that's what makes it even more mind boggling.

I wasn't a Shelle fan either and could care less that they are gone. I liked MM but I wasn't a fan of BB portrayal of Shawn. But as a couple they acted too immature most the time so it wasn't appealing to me.

Yeah, they were very immature, that's what I didn't like either. Especially having Claire, they should have made better decisions for her future and theirs.

I thought it was sad that the writers refused to let these two lead separate lives and insisted that they stayed together when it appeared to me that after the recasts, they were a dismall failure together.Apart there were still possibilities.But together, I'm glad they're outta here.

So happy they are gone! I used to be a rabid Shelle fan during the JC/KS era - but they should have ended when KS left the role.I liked MM with Phil - they were hot! BB just wasn't Shawn - he sucked the life out of the character.

Sorry folks but I'm unhappy that they are gone!!! There was so much GOOD story lines that could have been used! Like a GOOD who done it (like how it used to be) and having a Dad, Uncle and Son on the force, could have been interesting! Shawn was young enough for undercover work too! Let kids see the seedy side of drugs and porn, they don't seem to listen to parents BUT they do watch Day's and learn. More inportantly is NBC is talking about taking OUR show off the air!!!! Write them to keep it on, it's much better than 4 hours of news!!! But I like what they have now, except silly Tony and Anna!!! Shawn and Belle IS much better.

I would rather they stayed in Salem, but not stayed together.The insistence on Shelle ONLY is what drove them out of Salem (IMO). Phelle and Shawn with someone else would have been better.But if my choices are Shelle in town or Shelle out of town, I vote for out of town.

I loved the Sean/Belle story. Claire was the only one who John related to and now she is gone. I think they could have used this storyline to make John more likable. They need this couple to have a continuation of family. I loved MM.
