They haven't revealed to us the Balkan yet, as far as I know.What's more? I simply don't care.

Its rumored the Balkan will be the new actor Theo who turns about at the hospital and befriends Robin..but who knows they could do a brain fart and actually flip a script and do something completely unpredictable.

I'm hoping for someone like Roger Howarth or someone from either like ATWT or Guiding Light. How about James Steinbeck, huh ? Anybody ??

So far, it looks like they're setting it up to be Jerry. However, I really want it to be a shocker. I want it to come from left field! I don't want it to be implausible or anything, but just something suprising.

If they remember the story they started months ago about the evil spawn of Mikkos, Valentin, it would make a lot more sense than Jerry. So, of course, it'll be Jerry. This guy had a son old enough to date Brenda (with their new "cougar" fascination, anything over 18), named Alexander (a traditionally Russian name & not starting with a "J" as is the Jacks' family tradition) & it would mean Jerry really had 2 completely separate lives. Why not? After all, there is absolutely no resemblance (not just in looks) to the original fun-loving commitmentphobe he once was. I mean, wouldn't it just be the end of the world if they got an original actor to play a new part & make Jerry what he's been since the MetroCourt debacle--a freelance mercenary/drug runner? Or shocker! Have Jerry return not to grab Brenda for the Balkan, but to protect her from the Balkan? It would be believable because the one person in his family he gives a damn about is Jax & he'd do anything to get back in Jax's good graces. Just a thought....

No way is it Jerry Jax, most likely it's gonna be Daniel Benzali's character of Theo Hoffman. He's screaming bad guy.

And what exactly is Siobhan's role in all of this? After all this time, she is in contact with the Balkan's men and appears to be working for him??? If that is the case, why were they hollding her hostage in a warehouse, she was tied to a chair and knocked to the floor?? If she was working with them, why bother to tie her up, it wasn't like Lucky or anyone could find her.Could she be Lucky's secret backup with Interpole????

Is it werid that I really want it to be Suzanne? That I want Brenda to unknowingly to be raising money for the crime she's worked so hard to fight? It's this little thought that won't leave me be!

I keep thinking it is Suzanne as well. Alexsander could be her son, it doesn't have to be a man who had his son killed by Brenda!!

You know i was thinking the very same thing, it would make somewhat absolute sense for her to be The Balkan. How incredibly twisted and cruel would it be that Brenda was fronting Suzanne's(Balkan) criminal empire. Think about it, we really don't know that much about her, she's been quite vague about her life. So Alexsander could be her son, so it would be a perfect opportunity for Suzanne to "kill" Brenda for the death of her son.

If they want to do something really novel, they'll hire someone to be the Balkan. Making Jerry the Balkan would be stupid on so many levels, starting with the fact that they'd be completely shredding all of Jerry's backstory, incl. Jerry 2.0, the bad guy & going against everything that ever made us connect to him as a character. Having a grown son that his beloved baby brother had no knowledge of? Never happen. But, that aside. It's a stretch to think Jerry the womanizer, had a grown son that he not only acknowledged, but cared about. More sensible is that he is to the Balkan what Jason is to Sonny.Another part of this that is stupid is the logic Jason & Dumte are using. What makes them think the Balkan would come in person to collect his son's remains? This guy's whole reputation is built on him being a ghost. No one has ever actually seen the Balkan but his inner circle. No one in law enforcement has ever gotten close enough to get a look at him. Even Spinelli can find no trace of this guy. The only thing they know about him is he is a child trafficer & he's reputed to be brutal. This type of man would not risk coming in person to claim his son, in case the cops set him up. He wouldn't risk anyone being able to find him through researching his son's life. Plus, as of today, I think it would be foolish for it to be Jerry because while Jerry was respectful of his dead passenger, he was not paternal in his behavior. He was all business. Even his anti-Brenda rant hasn't changed my opinion, because Jerry knows Jason soaks in every detail of what people say & how they say it. He could simply dispise her for the same reason his mother does--because she's hurt Jax a million times. One final reason I don't think Jerry is the Balkan was the Balkan's reaction to Ronan going to Port Charles. He was confused about why he'd go there. If Jerry was the Balkan, he'd know it was Lucky pretending to be Ronan the minute he found out he'd gone to Port Charles.I do like the Suzanne angle mainly because of the way she sneers down her nose at Sonny's alledged business. But, I think she probably really is what she appears to be. I also think because of her concern for Brenda, her days are probably numbered. Everyday the Balkan's men don't kill her is a miracle. As for Siobhan, I've suspected all along that she was Lucky's interpol backup. Agent Bates mentioned that he'd have backup every step of the way. I don't think she counted on falling for Lucky & I think the friendly calls to the goon squad are her way of protecting Lucky. Also, I think she has the idea that she can get in to see the Balkan & that Lucky wouldn't have to.Call me crazy. I think it's most sensible for it to be Valentin, but I am also sure the writers have either forgotten about that little subplot or got bored with it already. It would also blend nicely with Lucky's part in the whole thing & stir up the Spencer/Cassidine thing again now that Lucky & Nik are starting to find their way back to what they were or some variation of it.

Well we all know who it is now and I for one and loving it and him! As for Suzanne, well it could still turn out that she is working for the Balkin and/or maybe they shared a son named Alexander? Just a thought. As for Siobhan, I am thinking she is working with Interpol or some kind of undercover agent? I'm hoping she doesn't turn out to be a bad guy. I think she is good for Lucky.
