B&B Week of December 1, 2008
Monday
Donna was confused as to why a furious Eric chose Stephanie over her. "I
have to go on with my life without you!" was all he would allow. Donna was
devastated when Eric then dismissed her and she slunk out of his office.
Thorne later encountered a sobbing Donna and she revealed that she is out
and Stephanie is in. Thorne reminded Donna that she is still young and will
find love again but she declared that she didn't want anyone else but Eric.
Thorne called his mom and urged her to hightail it to Forrester Creations.
Stephanie was reluctant to do so, but Thorne insisted. Steph showed up at
Eric's office, assuming she had lost out to Donna. She wished her ex good
Luck and was shocked when he said, "It isn't over for us, Stephanie." He
then asked Stephanie to take him back and they kissed. Eric admitted that
she was right about Donna and Steph laughed, "I'm always right." Ridge,
Thorne and Felicia barged in and were overjoyed that Eric chose their mom.
"I'm a lucky, lucky guy," Eric smiled and gave props to Stephanie's
commitment to him. Thorne cornered his dad and asked if he's really okay
with his decision and Eric assured he is, after dissing Donna for cheating
on him. Stephanie suspected that Thorne had something to do with Eric's
change of heart, but didn't share that with Eric.
Katie offered to help Brooke with her wedding plans, which were scheduled
for the day after next and the bride gratefully accepted. Katie was hesitant
to attend her sister's nups because Bridget would be there, but Brooke
pointed out that she wasn't getting along with Stephanie plus Ridge and Rick
were still at each other's throats so this wedding could hopefully be a new
start for everyone. Donna showed up and announced that Eric is going back to
Stephanie. Donna's sisters were equally perplexed as she sobbed, "This can't
be the end."
Tuesday
Taylor was thrilled that Phoebe came home from her musical tour and asked if
her daughter was moving back for good. "We'll see," Phoebe hedged then
snarked that it might be easier to stick around now that Rick wasn't sharing
her mother's bed. Taylor was taken aback by the admission as Phoebe
explained that's the reason she hasn't come around. "It hurt too much,"
declared the teen, then wished that everything could be the way it once was
because Rick "was my first love." Taylor was moved by her daughter's pain
and promised "to make this up to you." Mother and daughter shared a tearful
hug.
Ridge told Brooke that unless Rick supports him, then he's not welcome at the rehearsal party tonight or tomorrow's wedding. But Brooke hoped that she
could still convince Rick to be at the party. Ridge urged Brooke to try her
best. Ridge was elated when Phoebe called and said he would be right over to
visit her. He rushed over to Taylor's house and shared a joyful reunion
with Phoebe. She thanked him for being so protective of her and revealed
that she had written a song for him. Ridge asked to hear it and Phoebe
promised to sing it at the rehearsal dinner. Taylor walked in as Ridge was
talking about his wedding. Phoebe excused herself so she could unpack and
Ridge explained to Taylor that he is marrying Brooke the next day. She
admitted that she had hopes for a reconciliation but promised she could move
on. Ridge pushed his luck and asked Taylor to come to the wedding but she
declined. "There's no time like right now to move on," she chuckled and they
shared a tender embrace.
At Forrester Creations, Rick stewed about his mother's wedding to Ridge. "I
cannot let this happen," he seethed to himself. Brooke showed up and asked
Rick to "put aside your anger." She invited him to the rehearsal dinner but
Rick said there was "no way in hell" that he would be there. He once again
started badmouthing Ridge and Brooke angrily insisted that he was her
future. "Don't wish the worst for me, Rick," she begged but he said he would
never "support your relationship with Ridge... never." Brooke impressed that
she and Ridge are committed to each other and wanted Rick to be a part of
their lives. Rick didn't think he could so Brooke started beating herself up
for not being a good mother to him. As she tearfully started to leave, Rick
said that she has always been a great mom and she again asked him to be a
part of her wedding. "I need you to be there," she pleaded and Rick finally
caved, promising to come. A grateful Brooke held her son tightly.
Wednesday
Brooke excitedly told Ridge that Rick agreed to attend the rehearsal dinner
plus the wedding. "He's not going to come between us," she cheered. Ridge
headed over to Forrester and thanked Rick for pleasing Brooke, then ordered
him to "clear out his stuff from my office. I have work to do," Ridge
declared, then said he was "just kidding." Ridge asked to "bury the hatchet"
for Brooke's sake but Rick was hesitant to accept the olive branch. Rick was
bowled over when Ridge asked him to serve as his best man. As flashbacks of
Ridge and Brooke's first wedding played, Ridge recounted the memories of
that ceremony. "Can you stand up with your mother and me and be my best
man?" asked Ridge, then extended his hand to Rick.
At Forrester Creations, Phoebe was sickened when she observed Rick flirting
with a model. She next popped into her grandfather's office and surprised
Eric and Stephanie. They were thrilled to hear that their granddaughter is
home to stay. Phoebe groused that Rick didn't deserve to be president of the
company over Ridge but Eric hoped Ridge will soon come back to Forrester.
Brooke tried to make peace with Stephanie but La Forrester blamed the real
unrest between their families to Ridge and Rick's fighting. As Brooke
pointed out that she was trying her best to resolve that dissension,
Stephanie voiced her doubts over Brooke's devotion to Ridge. "I don't want
my son to have anymore pain because of your son," Stephanie insisted and
didn't think Ridge and Rick will ever get along. Brooke asked Stephanie to
be at the wedding and she grudgingly confirmed she would be. A jubilant
Brooke hugged Stephanie, who rolled her eyes.
Back at Taylor's house, Phoebe and Steffy were happily reunited. After
exchanging giggles, the sisters started complaining about Rick. Steffy
filled in Phoebe on all the crap Rick "has been pulling." Phoebe was shocked
when Steffy revealed that Rick had kissed her. "He's so disgusting!" Phoebe
raged, then lamented that Rick was her first love.
Thursday
Brooke and Ridge happily looked forward to their wedding and kissed.
An angry Phoebe and Steffy discussed Rick betraying Phoebe.... Rick eyed a
magazine cover of Brooke and Rick and muttered to himself about how he
couldn't stomach the thought of Rick being with his mother. He then tore up
the wedding invite.... Taylor interrupted and the girls clammed up. Taylor
apologized to Phoebe for hurting her, but Phoebe blamed Rick for taking
advantage of the women in their family. They planned for a girls' night out
after Ridge and Brooke's rehearsal dinner. Phoebe and Taylor hugged; the
twins then left for the party. After, Stephanie paid Taylor a visit and
tried to cheer her up. She gave Taylor a present, which Taylor appreciated.
At the party, Jackie greeted Nick and Katie.... Thomas greeted Steffy.
Steffy reported that she couldn't get Taylor to attend. Thomas wondered
where Phoebe was.... Everyone applauded when Brooke and Ridge arrived.
Brooke thanked everyone for attending, then promised to love, honor and
please Ridge. The guests then began, uh, swing dancing. Ridge wasn't bad,
but Thorne was doing what looked more like 1960's dance moves.... Steffy was
thrilled when Marcus made a surprise appearance.
Phoebe stopped by Rick's and reamed him out for hurting her. She vowed to
get him out of her life forever. Rick insisted that he cared deeply for her.
Phoebe stated that if he really cared about her, he wouldn't have proposed
to her mother and then kissed her sister. They then argued over Ridge. Rick
apologized for hurting her and got ready to attending the dinner. Phoebe
demanded that he stay put, but Rick shoved past her. Phoebe followed him
into his car. As he drove, she shouted that she hates Rick and hit him a few
times. "I loved you. I made you the center of my world and you slept with my
mother and kissed my sister!" she screamed. Rick pleaded with her to let him
drive, but she told him to pull over. She kept punching and hitting him and
the car slid. "NOOOOOOOO!" Rick shrieked.
Friday
After Phoebe attacked Rick in his car, the vehicle skidded off the road and
crashed. An unconscious Phoebe was sprawled across the ground outside of the
car. Rick was unconscious in the front seat. He soon awakened and screamed
for Phoebe. He then crawled out of the car and stumbled around, calling
Phoebe's name over and over again. "Oh, my God," he cried, when he saw her on
the ground. He kneeled over her and desperately tried to wake her, to no
avail.
At Brooke and Ridge's rehearsal dinner, everyone was still swing dancing....
Nick told Bridget that she looked great and asked if she'd have a "friendly"
dance with him. She refused. Jackie asked Nick if he had any regrets about
what had happened with Bridget... Outside, Felicia and Thorne discussed
their mother and how Stephanie wasn't excited about the wedding.... Steffy
danced with Marcus and suddenly got a "weird" feeling.... Brooke and Ridge
shared a slow dance. Brooke hoped that Rick would show up and was impressed
by Ridge's new attitude toward her son. Ridge believed that Rick couldn't do
any more harm to their relationship now that they were getting married....
Steffy worried about Phoebe and hoped she'd get there soon.... Katie hoped
that Ridge and Brooke would extend their honeymoon so she and Nick could
continue to watch Brooke and Nick's baby. "They won't. She'll be so sick of
that stiff after two weeks," Nick snarked about his ex and Ridge.
At Taylor's, Stephanie sat with Taylor and made her tea. Taylor urged Steph
to go to the party for Ridge's sake, but Steph replied that she'd rather be
with her friend. After, they discussed Phoebe. Taylor looked forward to
spending more time with her daughter and declared herself lucky for having
the kids she has.
At the party, Thorne made a toast to Ridge and Brooke. After, Ridge told
Brooke that he was worried about why Phoebe hadn't showed up. He went to
call her, but Brooke was confident that she'd soon arrive..... Rick limped
down the dark road, thinking about his problems with Phoebe the entire time.
He finally reached Ridge and told him about the accident.... Steffy
continued to have a bad feeling.... Ridge and Rick reached the accident
scene. Ridge took Phoebe in his arms and tried to rouse her. She awakened
and whispered, "Dad?" "You're gonna be okay," Ridge kept telling her. "You
have to hear my song," she croaked and managed to get out a few words of the
tune. She then stopped and closed her eyes, dying in his arms. Ridge broke
down.
