Rick asked Ridge and Brooke to join him and Steffy on a road trip to a special place. Ridge resisted but eventually complied — and insisted on driving. At the beach, Rick told Steffy, Ridge and Brooke that the beach is where they're going to get married — the same spot where Ridge and Brooke had their nups — twice. The threesome wanted to know why Rick picked this place for them to wed. Rick pointed out that the place was magic and it represented for second chances. "Marry me right here," Rick asked Steffy. "What do you say?" "It's bull," huffed Ridge. Rick and Steffy looked perturbed. Ridge called the choice a slap in the face but Brooke saw it as an olive branch. Brooke took Steffy for a walk while the men discussed the issue. Ridge wasn't budging on his opinion. Rick said that Ridge thinks the universe revolves around him. Rick then said he and Steffy were planning on having kids, called Ridge "Grandpa" and stated that Ridge would give his blessing, because it's what Steffy wants. Rick then brought up the sore subject of Thomas. Ridge refused to give his consent but Rick said not only would he change his mind, he would also give Steffy away. The women returned and Steffy professed her desire to have the wedding on the beach, too. Afterward, Ridge told Brooke that he wouldn't allow this wedding at all while in the background, Rick kissed Steffy, then smirked at Ridge.

At the restaurant, Taylor told Stephanie that she was proud of her for standing up for herself with Erica and Donna. Taylor suggested Steph talk to Nick and tell her she changed her mind about the job offer. Stephanie wondered if it was still open.

At Jackie M, Nick told Jackie that despite the recent loan, they still had a cash flow problem. Jackie then mentioned she asked Owen to handle the Dafoe account. Nick was wary and wondered why Jackie showed such faith in Owen. Stephanie interrupted when she entered and asked if the job offer was still valid. Nick replied it was off the table. Steph asked if he was secure enough to work with her. Nick wanted to know why Steph recommended them to
the French investor. Taylor spoke up and said Stephanie's decision was not out of retaliation against Eric and they'd be lucky yo have a woman of her experience and expertise. Steph recalled Sally and said that continuing her work stoked a fire within her. "I'm not Sally Spectra," Jackie huffed. "My goal is to compete with Forrester on a level playing field." Nick was sold but Jackie wanted to know Steph's demands. "You can't be serious!" Jackie
uttered after looking at Stephanie's list. "Oh, I am," Stephanie smiled back.
