Monday
At Forrester Creations, Bill pointed out to Katie that Steffy is the talk of
the industry right now and firing her would attract bad press. Katie wasn't
thrilled when Steffy showed up to drop off a file but she shared she would
be out of the building by the end of the day. Katie changed her mind and
told a surprised Steffy that she can stay. Steffy was thrilled and left to
unpack her office. Bill told his wife that he was proud of her but she
wasn't appeased by the declaration. Bill then assured that he will never
stop loving Katie and they embraced as a tear trickled down her cheek.
At a secret meeting with Eric, Brooke and Donna, Ridge admitted that his
designs for the fashion duel with Jackie M on THE CATWALK wasn't his best
work. Ridge then announced that he and Eric has some "exciting news." Eric
explained that his friends were rallying with funds to help and he almost
had enough money to buy the company back. To make the plan work, Brooke and
Donna agreed to "handle" Katie.
Whip revealed himself to a bat-wielding Sandy. He explained how he found her
door unlocked and noticed that her lights weren't working. He was in the
back checking the circuit breaker in the back of the trailer when she
arrived. Sandy was still very upset and ordered Whip to leave. He said he would after he restored her lights,
and left the room. Nick showed up, explaining he was worried when he saw
Sandy's place was still dark. The lights suddenly came on and Nick was
surprised when Whip emerged. After Whip hastily left, Nick demanded to know
how Sandy knew Whip. She admitted that they are cousins and Nick was mad
that she had been hiding yet another secret. He asked her to come clean with
him or else her obvious stress could harm the baby. She explained how she
worked at a bar where fashion types hung out and she eventually met a
fashion photographer. She was invited to a party where she only remembers
having one drink. She then woke up at a strange apartment the next day and
knew she had been violated. She went to the hospital, where she talked
to the police, and it was a humiliating experience. Sandy then told Nick that
she would "die" if Bridget ever found out. Sandy confessed that Bridget's
friendship meant a lot to her so Nick agreed not to say anything to his
wife.
Tuesday
Steffy was afraid that Brooke would think less of her because of what happened with Bill. Brooke assured her love for Steffy and the gals hugged. Ridge, Donna and Thomas arrived to view Thomas's video of the Hollywood Glamour campaign. While they were watching, Taylor showed up and secretly conveyed concern that something was going on with her daughter. Steffy admitted there was a man problem but that's no longer anything to worry about. Everyone was impressed with the video and patted themselves on the back for coming together. Later, Steffy told her brother that Katie un-fired her but Thomas warned not to let their dad ever find out that she killed Bill.
Whip announced to everyone at Jackie M that their distributors are already praising the Adam And Eve designs. Nick entered and Whip assumed that they would talk about Sandy but Marone sai, "Not tonight." Stephanie reported that their sales figures are already going up, up, up because of Bridget's green designs. Taylor arrived and offered good luck. Whip was happy to see Taylor and they flirted with each other.
Katie admitted to Bill that he was right about keeping Steffy on at
Forrester. Bill then noticed an email from Ridge with an offer from Eric to buy Forrester Creations back. Bill was upset that Ridge and Eric have been obviously raising capital for their bid. Katie realized that her sisters also had to know what's going on but didn't tell her.
Ridge groused to Brooke that he'll never be happy at Forrester with Bill and Katie running the company. Bill barged in and informed Ridge that he's not going to sell Forrester. Bill then said he was done "coddling" Ridge and reminded him who is the boss. After Bill stalked out, a peeved Ridge vowed to bring "that tyrant" down. Ridge then announced that he had a plan that Bill won't see coming.
Wednesday
THE CATWALK was a whirl of activity as everyone from Forrester Creations and Jackie M prepared for the fashion duel.... Brooke was surprised when Bridget decided to leave and watch the competition on TV at the Jackie M office. Brooke playfully warned her daughter that Forrester will beat Jackie M.... In the makeup room, Whip boasted to Jackie and Owen that their campaign will be victorious.... Donna asked Pam not to perform her dance at the end of the show.... Steffy was curious when she spied Taylor chatting backstage with Whip. Taylor claimed she came to wish her daughter luck so Steffy was more than happy to escort Mom away from the enemy and to her seat.... Donna told
Justin she was disappointed that Eric isn't present to watch the contest.
Eric visited Ridge at Forrester Creations and learned that Bill turned down
the offer to buy back the company. The guys commiserated about their failed attempt to regain Forrester and Ridge suggested that they intentionally design a "hideous" line that will make Forrester a liability to Bill. Eric smiled at the pitch.
The show began and Donna and Pam introduced Whip and Steffy. The co-hosts told the audience to watch the videotaped campaign presentations of each fashion house, then vote via the Internet on which one is the best. The video for Forrester's Hollywood Glamour was shown first and got an exuberant reaction from the studio audience. Steffy talked up the campaign but Whip interrupted that Forrester designs aren't accessible to the mainstream public. Jackie M's Adam And Eve video was shown next and seemed to get a bigger response. Pam and Donna teased that the winner will be announced at the end of the show. Meow!
Thursday
On THE CATWALK, Donna and Pam previewed the winner of the Forrester vs. Jackie M showdown. Bridget and Nick watched from the office and kissed during the show's commercial. Pam and Donna then announced the winner: Jackie M! Stephanie, Pam, Whip, Owen and Jackie were ecstatic. So were Nick and Bridget. Bill was visibly disappointed. Katie noted to Donna and Brooke that her husband hates losing and went to console him.... Whip started to speak with reporters about the win, but was distracted when he spied Taylor at the studio. Donna lamented to Justin about Forrester losing, but he assured her that she did a good job.... Stephanie interrupted Nick and Bridget so they could celebrate.... Steffy admitted to Thomas that she's not that upset about the company losing because Forrester hasn't been the same since Bill and Katie took over.... Whip and Taylor kissed.
Meanwhile, Eric and Ridge plotted to regain Forrester from Bill. They debated whether or not to tell Donna, Brooke and Katie about their plan, but were both anxious to get the better of Spencer. Eric sketched out some garish and tacky designs — the type that Forrester would never really put out, believing that when they don't do well, Bill will no longer want the company. Eric then showed Ridge his first design, which was a gaudy dress with huge shoulder pads and feathers. Eric was a little unsure that the plan would work, but Ridge was confident that the company would be theirs again. Later, Ridge and Eric went to see Katie and Bill in her office, walking past a certain outfit that was on display in the main hallway. Eric apologized to Bill for being selfish and not being a team player. Bill didn't believe that Eric was being sincere, but Katie did. Eric admitted that the changes have been difficult for him, but he wants to honor his contract. "You need a line; I need to work," Eric said, "If you'll let me." Bill agreed to let him back on the team and they shook on it. Eric promised to give him a "terrific, new line ... A line you'll never forget."
Friday
Nick revealed to Brooke that Sandy and Whip are cousins, but Sandy had asked him not to tell Bridget. He also shared that Sandy had been sexually assaulted. Sandy arrived in his office and was furious with him for betraying her trust. Nick urged Sandy to get help. Brooke asked to speak with her alone. Sandy didn't want to hear what Brooke had to say, though, and refused to see a therapist. Brooke explained that she was also sexually assaulted and insisted that Nick just wanted to help her. Sandy asked how Brooke was able to get over her fears and be with Ridge and Brooke explained that she realized that not all men are the same. She also urged Sandy to let some of the hurt out and open up to people. Sandy didn't think she could handle letting a man near her again. "That man is trash. You cannot let him control your life like he is," Brooke stated.
Bridget worried that Stephanie was working too hard and wanted to get her an assistant. Nick entered and Bridget mentioned the assistant idea to him. After, Bridget, Stephanie and Nick offered Sandy the job.
At Forrester, Steffy was appalled when Ridge let Katie give him orders. He assured his daughter that it wouldn't be for long and filled her in on his and Eric's scheme to get the company back. Ridge then showed Steffy one of the horrible designs Eric had created for their new line. Later, Ridge told Brooke about their plan to get Forrester back, but she was uncomfortable with the idea of ruining Katie's career. Ridge implored Brooke to keep it secret from her sister and help them out, for his sake and the company's. Brooke reluctantly agreed.
Sandy apologized to Nick for lashing out at him and said that Brooke has helped her see things a little differently. She called Nick a "wonderful man" and added that she trusts him. Nick was pleased.
Brooke spied Katie looking at the new design with confusion, but then joined her and lied that it was "genius." Katie said that she trusts Brooke, but wasn't so sure it was a good look. Brooke explained that it was going to be the latest trend of over-the-top designs. "This is the line that's going to turn Forrester Creations upside down," Brooke said.
