Bold and Beautiful Recaps

B&B Week of December 3, 2007

Monday

While waiting at the police station for a forensics report on the gun found
in Stephen's hotel room, he angrily denied that he shot Stephanie. The
report came back and concluded that it was the same gun used in the
shooting. Even though the firearm was wiped clean of prints, Charlie clucked
to his dad, "Looks like we found our man, Pops." Lt. Baker reminded Stephen
of his contentious history with the victim and booked him. Storm stood by as
his father was fingerprinted and a mug shot taken.

Eric, Ridge and Pamela reviewed all the suspects with Stephanie. "Maybe
Stephanie should make a list of all the people who disliked her," Pam
suggested. "Still, that would take all night." Steph was convinced the
culprit was Donna but couldn't deny the possibility that Stephen, Nick or
Jackie could've pulled the trigger. When Ridge and Pamela were out of the
room, Stephanie thanked Eric for letting her convalesce at home after she's
released. Eric revealed that he was checking into a hotel; Stephanie objected, but he assured Pam would be there to help with her
recovery.

Brooke arrived at her father's hotel suite to learn from Donna and Katie
that their father had been arrested. Brooke and Donna believed in Stephen's
innocence, but Katie wasn't so convinced. She then accusingly questioned her
sisters, upsetting Brooke and Donna. Katie then apologized for doubting
them.

Lt. Baker showed up at Stephanie's hospital room and asked her to identify
the gun. Steph confirmed that it looked liked the same one she gave Brooke.
Lt. Baker explained that the gun was found in Stephen's room and he was
arrested. Stephanie was surprised when Stephen called to profess that he
didn't attack her. "That shooter is still out there," Logan warned. After
hanging up, Steph wondered, "Who really hates me that much that they would
want to see me dead?"

Nick got upset when Clarke pointed out that Jackie mysteriously leaving town
right after Stephanie's shooting looked awfully suspicious. Nick ordered
Clarke to can it, then Ridge showed up. "Where were you and Jackie when my
mother was shot?" he angrily demanded, but Nick told his brother to back off.
Eric called Ridge with the news that Stephen had been booked. "Looks like
the dressmaker was wrong," Nick taunted, although there was no masking his
relief that an arrest has been made.

Tuesday

"It looks like you and your mother are off the hook," Ridge groused to Nick
about Stephen's arrest. Ridge then showed the photo of Jack (the one Nick
gave Brooke) and complained that encouraging Brooke's connection to the baby
wasn't good for her. "She's allowed her feelings no matter how insecure it
makes you," Nick shot back but Ridge ordered his brother to concentrate on
his own marriage and being a father.

Aside from their father's legal woes, Katie could tell there was something
else bothering Brooke, who finally confessed that she is Jack's biological
mother. Brooke then admitted that she isn't sure if Taylor could provide
the love that Jack needs. "Your maternal instincts are kicking in," observed
a worried Katie and Brooke admitted that she had overstepped her bounds
about Taylor not breast feeding. Brooke then called the Marone home to
apologize when a strange woman answered and said that Taylor isn't home.
Brooke became further alarmed when she could hear the baby crying in the
background. A freaked Brooke rushed over to Nick's house, where he assured
her that a nanny was caring for Jack. Nick explained that Taylor had to
leave town to visit her ailing dad. The nanny entered with the baby, who was
fussy. Brooke asked to hold him and he immediately quieted down in her arms.

Phoebe walked in on Ashley fielding calls from the press about Stephanie's
shooting. Phoebe offered to take over the phones but Ashley said it "keeps
me busy." Phoebe asked if Ashley still has feelings for Ridge and Ms. Abbott
admitted that she did but accepted that he was now with Brooke. After Phoebe
left, Ridge showed up, looking frazzled. Ashley pointed out that Brooke
would never jeopardize her future with Ridge but he didn't seem too
convinced.

Wednesday

After posting bail, Stephen returned to his hotel room with Storm to a
thrilled Donna and a suspicious Katie, who still wasn't convinced that her
dad is not the shooter. Storm suggested they all pull together as a family,
but Katie was far from a conciliatory mood. "I don't even know you," she
spat at Stephen and stormed out. He was stung by his daughter's words and
Storm tried to console him, with little luck. "Donna and I know you're
innocent, Dad, and I'm going to prove it," Storm assured. Stephen kept
beating up on himself for abandoning his family years ago. He praised Storm
for stepping up and becoming the head of the family. Storm confessed his own
pain of trying to take his dad's place. "I was just a kid," he lamented. "I
was terrified." Stephen vowed that he would pay all his kids back someday.

Charlie was ready to close the case on Stephanie's shooting but Lt. Baker
pointed out that with so many enemies, there's still a lot to be considered.
Charlie was frustrated that his dad wanted to once again review the CD from
the security cameras at Forrester Creations. A bubbly Pamela showed up and
thanked the cops for finding her sister's shooter. After she left, both Lt.
Baker and Charlie were suspicious of Pam's giddy behavior and added her to
the list of suspects.

Brooke reveled in holding Jack in her arms, then admitted that it was hard
to to stay away from him. "I better go," Brooke sighed after putting the
baby down to sleep. "Taylor wouldn't be to happy to find me here." Nick then
complained about Ridge's harsh feelings about the situation but Brooke
defended his attitude. Nick admitted that Brooke shouldn't be denied contact
with Jack — she didn't want to jeopardize her relationship with Ridge.
They reminisced about happier times and Nick suggested that Brooke still see
Jack secretly until "Ridge and Taylor come around." Brooke smiled and
agreed.

Thursday

Jackie held another press conference from her bathtub. Lt. Baker and Charlie
showed up so Clarke escorted the reporters out. After the cops revealed they
wanted to ask about Stephanie's shooting, Jackie purred from underneath her
bubbles, "As you can see, I'm totally clean." She put on a robe and Lt.
Baker noted that Jackie had been kicked out of the fashion show and then returned to
Forrester Creations with Nick. Jackie asked if she was a suspect — Charlie
explained they were hoping she could shed light on Stephen's activities that
day. Jackie claimed she couldn't and promised to call if she remembered
anything important.

Donna informed Katie that Stephanie was being released from the hospital
today. Katie pointed out that Eric was being awfully attentive towards his
wife. "Eric loves me," Donna affirmed. Katie warned her sister not to
let her guard down where Stephanie is concerned. Lt. Baker and Charlie
entered and asked the girls if they recalled anything that could exonerate
their father. Donna insisted that they had the wrong man.

Eric brought Stephanie home, where she was welcomed by her family. Pamela's dog
Tiny suddenly ran in and startled Stephanie. Pam said her pet was around for
protection in case the shooter was still out there. Donna showed up and
became upset to see Eric showing so much tenderness toward Stephanie. Eric
escorted his mistress out to the guest house and Donna demanded to know if
he was going back to Stephanie. "Just let me go while I still have a shred
of dignity left," Donna wailed but was instantly thrilled when Eric
announced that he was moving into a hotel room so they could, "snuggle
together."

Alone with Ridge, Stephanie lamented the state of her relationship with
Eric. "I just love him, no matter what he does, I just love him," Stephanie
sighed. "I want to end my days here with him." Steph then observed that it
took a bullet to bring Eric back to her.

Jake found his missing camcorder and was attempting to show Katie some
footage he shot at a concert. They soon realized that his camera had
actually been left on after the fashion show and taped Stephanie's
confrontations with her many detractors. Katie realized that the actual
shooting may have been recorded so she and Jake searched for any telltale
scenes. Jake located the moment of the shooting and that a hand can been
seen emerging from behind a curtain. Jake said he would try to blow up the
frame on his laptop. "We're about to find out who shot Stephanie Forrester,"
Katie realized.

Friday

"This is critical evidence," Katie anxiously deemed Jake's video footage. On
his laptop, he closed in on a frame of a man's hand holding a gun and asked
Katie to make a print of it. She then called Brooke to tell her that she was
on her way over.

Rick handed Ashley an early Christmas present. "I must've been a very, very
good girl this year," she smiled but she was confused to open the gift bag
and find her unmailed wedding invitations. Rick explained that he couldn't
bear to drop them in the mail like she asked him to do weeks ago. "I'm so
happy nobody got these invitations!" Ash giggled. "You saved me from so much
humiliation." She thanked Rick for his friendship and they embraced.

While Stephanie was anxious for her cookie-baking sister to return to
Chicago, she was shocked when Stephen suddenly came through the terrace
door. "What the hell are you doing here?" Steph demanded then called out for
Eric. He came running form the kitchen, with Pamela in tow. "You're not to
come anywhere near my wife!" Eric growled. "Now get out!" Before Stephen
exited he warned Stephanie that her shooter was still on the loose. Eric
reported the trespasser to Lt. Baker and knew it was only a matter of time
before Stephen was re-arrested. Stephanie and Pam asked if Eric would spend
the night in the house and not the hotel. Before he could answer, Jake
showed up with the photo. Eric and Stephanie looked at the pic and knew it
was Stephen's hand. "I hope this puts him away for a long, long time,"
Stephanie declared.

Donna burst into Brooke's house, riled that reporters were camped out front.
Donna was even more upset that her big sister didn't seem to be convinced of
their father's innocence. Katie suddenly arrived and exclaimed, "I have
proof! I know who shot Stephanie Forester." Katie then produced the photo
from Jake's video and the girls could see that the incriminating hand was
sporting a ring with the letter S. Katie said that it had to be their
father's hand. Stephen arrived and they showed him the photo. "That's your
ring, Dad," Brooke pointed out but Stephen said it was fakery. "It was you!"
said Katie.
