B&B Week of February 11, 2008
Monday
Brooke pulled away from the passionate kiss with Nick and insisted that her
place was with Ridge and R.J. Nick said that her relationship with Ridge
would never work out and that she needed to be with Marone. "I can't believe
we're having this conversation," Brooke balked and tried to leave but Jack
began to fuss. Unable to ignore her maternal instinct, she scooped the baby
up in her arms. "Mommy is here," Brooke cooed and Jack quieted down. Nick
marveled at the mother/child tableau and announced that they belong together
as a family. He then drew Brooke into a warm embrace and she welcomed it.
As Eric and Donna were having sex in his office, he got a phone call that
Stephanie was in the building. He suggested to Donna that it was a perfect
opportunity to stage a breakup for his wife's ears. When they knew she was
outside the door, Eric yelled at Donna to leave the building. "It's over!"
he raged. "Do not be here when I get back!" He stormed out of his office and
Stephanie hid out of sight. Once he was gone, Steph rushed in to take
advantage of Donna's supposed misery. Ms. Logan acted hurt as Stephanie
clucked that Eric finally saw Donna for who she really is. "Your day will
come," Donna hissed but Eric returned and ordered Donna not to "speak to my
wife in that way." Eric then told Donna that "the love of my life" had been
deeply hurt and he will do everything in his power to make it up to her.
Donna made her exit and Eric hugged a grateful Stephanie.
"What are you doing?" Taylor asked after Rick kissed her, but he admitted
that he really cared for her. Embarrassed, Rick started to leave, but
confessed he had a "godawful" impulse to smooch Taylor again. She was
curious as to why and he listed all her wonderful attributes, which caused
Taylor to blush. "I want you to remember how incredible you are," Rick
declared. "You have so much to offer. I just don't want it to go to waste."
He then pecked Taylor on the cheek and left.
Tuesday
At the breakfast table, Katie, Storm and Donna noticed that Brooke was
preoccupied (she was thinking of Nick's proposal from the night before that
they get together). Katie suggested that Storm continue his therapy in Paris
but he said he wanted to be near his sisters. "We love you, Stormy," said
Brooke. He then praised Stephanie for giving him another chance, still
clueless that she was blackmailing his family. After Storm departed for his
therapy appointment, Donna assured her concerned sisters that Stephanie will
never find out that she and Eric are still seeing each other. But Katie and
Brooke warned Donna not to underestimate Stephanie. Donna explained how she
wasn't wearing any perfume or lipstick so that telltale signs would never be
left behind but her sisters were not appeased.
At Forrester Creations, Ridge, Thorne and Felicia were thrilled to hear that
their parents were back together. "I promise to do everything I can to win
your heart back," Stephanie vowed to Eric in front of their kids. Eric
explained that Donna was a sex addict and Stephanie was right all along that
his ex-mistress was nothing more than "a tramp from the valley." Donna
called Eric and asked if they could meet at their love nest. Eric agreed and
told Stephanie that he had to go out because "something came up." After Eric
left, Ridge told his mother that he didn't buy Eric's commitment to their
reconciliation. But Stephanie defended her husband and urged Ridge to "be
happy for us."
Eric and Donna met at their hideaway and she expressed Brooke and Katie's
fears. Eric assured that Stephanie will never find out that he was still
seeing Donna. Meanwhile, Stephanie warned Brooke that Storm will go to jail
if Donna doesn't stay away from Eric. Later, Stephanie became suspicious
when Eric didn't return from his errand.
Wednesday
At Forrester Creations, Ridge wanted Brooke to try on wedding gowns but she
was too superstitious. She then revealed that Taylor had left Nick and Jack.
"I'm really concerned about that baby," fretted Brooke. "He needs a mother."
She then asked if they could stop by the Marone house to check on Nick and
the baby but Ridge got upset. He asked if Brooke considered herself Jack's
mother but before she could answer, Katie walked in. Ridge was called away
and Katie chastised her sister for messing up her relationship with Ridge.
"I don't understand you and Donna," Katie blasted. "You jump in without any
regard for consequence." Brooke asked her sister if she has ever been in
love but Katie advised her to stay with Ridge.
As Nick was playing with Jack, Bridget arrived to check up on Taylor. Nick
announced that Taylor moved out and Bridget felt guilty for the egg mix-up
but he urged her not to blame herself for any of his woes. Bridget asked why
Taylor left and Nick said that he confessed to his wife that he was still in
love with Brooke. Bridget got melancholy and asked if Nick ever thought
about their dead baby Nicole. "Every day," he answered and embraced Bridget.
Brooke visited Nick to see how Jack was doing. "Have you heard from Taylor?"
she asked and Nick admitted that she called to check on Jack. Nick said he
wanted to raise Jack in a stable home with two parents and that Brooke was
his mother. He asked if she was ready to become a family. Brooke said she
had "searched my heart and soul" and knew what she had to do.
Thursday
"What does the future hold for you and me?" asked Nick. Brooke admitted that
they both know what it's like to be in love with two people but she insisted
that, "I am going to marry Ridge." Nick agreed that she had to do what she
thought was right, then pulled Brooke into a passionate kiss. She broke away. Nick insisted that they were destined to be together. "Those are the
facts, baby, and I'm sticking to them," he declared but she got flustered
with his playful behavior and demanded that he "let me go." Nick asked if
that is what Brooke really wanted and she tearfully admitted no. Yep, they
started macking on each other again.
Ridge asked Stephanie how things were going with her marriage. Eric showed
up and announced that he had an errand to run, then rushed out. Ridge was
still suspicious that Eric had not totally given up Donna and Stephanie agreed
that she needed to make sure that the affair was over. Ridge advised his mom
to let Eric know how much she cares about him.
Bridget agreed with Katie that Brooke and Ridge belong together. Katie
asked her niece if she was still in love with Nick. "I probably always will
be," Bridget admitted and Katie pointed out that this could be an
opportunity for Bridget to reconcile with Nick. Bridget said she didn't know
if she could stand to have her heart "ripped out" again. She then started
grieving over Nicole's death and Katie pushed for Bridget to give Nick
another chance.
Donna and Eric met at their love nest where she introduced honey for their
time together. After, she called it "a sticky situation" while he said she
was "stuck" with him (yuck, yuck). Their pillow talk turned to Stephanie
(whatta buzz kill) and how she was blackmailing Donna but soon Eric was
ready for another go 'round. Donna giggled about his stamina. Meanwhile, the
reason for his energy level became evident when Stephanie showed Ridge
Eric's stash of Viagra pills and shared that he wasn't using them for her.
(The camera wasn't on Ridge so there's no telling if he was gagging at this
point)
Friday
Brooke begged Nick to let her go. "I understand your position" he responded, "and I do love you enough to let you go... if that's what you want." Gulp, said Brooke. "No" she admitted. Cue the swelling music and big kiss. Brooke stopped him in mid-pucker but Nick smiled. He knows it's not the end. "You know it too," he announced. Brooke ran out.
Well, well! Eric is making good use of his Viagra in bed with Donna, pronouncing her "quite the turn-on." They cooed sweet nothings to each other laughing that Stephanie has no idea they are beating her at her own game. "Tell me I'm the most wonderful lover you've ever had," ordered Eric. You are! Then Donna decided to read Eric's strong palm, pronouncing them very in love for a very long time with Stephanie out of the picture. A somber discussion followed about how important it was to keep Stephanie from finding out about them.
Ooops! There's Stephanie staring at Eric's bottle of Viagra pills which apparently she's been counting. There will be hell to pay for this, she vowed to Ridge. He offered that she was jumping to a "hasty conclusion" about Eric. They were interrupted by a call from the private detective Stephanie hired to spy on Eric. Yup! They're shacking up all right! Exit Stephanie.
Storm and Katie discussed the importance of family until Brooke came home. Storm commented that Brooke looks stressed, but she deflected until he left for his therapy session. "You look like hell," said the more honest Katie. Brooke talked about how it went with Nick, but she left out the part about the big swooning kiss. Katie told Brooke that she cannot be a mother to baby Jack and have a life with Ridge. Talk shifted to Storm and his precarious freedom. Where is Donna, anyway?
Nick was playing with baby Jack when Bridget popped in to check on father and son. Bridget took over with the fussy baby while Nick went to heat the bottle. (That baby REALLY likes Bridget. Maybe because she's his ... older sister?) Bridget put the baby down and they discussed what happened with Brooke. "She kept going on about her life with Forrester and I shut her up by kissing her," relayed the more honest Nick. Bridget said she is sorry. Don't worry, assured Nick. It's not over. Nick gave Bridget a brotherly arm over the shoulder, but Bridget's face betrayed her feelings for him, which are not those one should have for a sibling even on B&B.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK! Eric and Donna's "palm reading" was interrupted by Stephanie at the door. "Where is he? I know he's here!" she demanded. Donna insisted Eric was not there and a battle ensued. When Stephanie pushed past her to look out the window, Donna panicked. Stephanie gazed out into the night as the camera panned over to Eric — naked on the ledge with just his clothes in front of his privates!
