Monday

In a cold basement full of unprocessed rape kits, Nick was horrified. He demanded Lt. Baker say something, and all Baker could do was apologize to Sandy. "Tell us why the hell they haven't been opened!" she demanded. Baker and Zev couldn't really say anything in case it was held against them in a court of law. Baker was ashamed for failing a rattled, furious Sandy. He finally told her the deal: lack of funding was why these kits had gone unprocessed. "We are working through the backlog," he assured, but the sheer amount of kits was daunting. Sandy realized that hers, too, was in this room. "There are some things that...you can't put a price on them," she sputtered, devastated. She found a kit that was eight years backlogged and pleaded with Baker to put that woman's first, before hers. "Do hers," she begged, as she stumbled upon kit after kit. She raged about the police department's lack of courage in standing up and saying, "We have done nothing for you." Lt. Baker and Zev confirmed that Sandy's kit was in this room and they all began looking for it. When Sandy found hers, she shook visibly and sought comfort from Nick.

At Jackie M, Brooke found Whip looking through Nick's desk. He made excuses, which cracked Brooke up. "Water under the bridge," she assured, of his past penchant for hijinks. Then, she demanded he 'fess up about Sandy/Agnes. Nick had told her everything, and she was a little wary of the sudden Jones influx in her daughter's life. Whip explained that he and Sandy both showing up was complete coincidence, but admitted that something is up with his cousin.

A curious Stephanie met Bridget at Il Giardino, relieved to know that a)Pam wasn't annoying people and b)Bridget wasn't retiring to focus on the baby. No, Bridget actually wanted Steph to be part of her family! She noted how weird her upbringing had been, with Brooke and Stephanie and Eric. (She even name-checked Deacon and the Hope drama.) And then she wondered if Stephanie had finally accepted her mom with Ridge. "I don't want to even go there," chuckled Stephanie. Bridget went on to say how much she admires Stephanie and loves her. She wanted Steph to be a grandmother to her children, since she's the most significant person in her life.

Tuesday

At Forrester, Ridge warned Brooke and Steffy not to get too confident about their plan's success — especially with the launch of the Dare line only a few days away. Brooke still hated lying to Katie. Katie, meanwhile, asked Jarrett for his "honest, objective" opinion of the line. Marcus brought the dresses up from the cutting room. When Jarrett saw Eric and Ridge's designs, he was horrified...confirming Katie's suspicions. Downstairs, Brooke noted that Donna hadn't told Marcus the truth, since she hadn't wanted to put him in the middle of things. So, when clueless Marcus came in to say Katie was looking at the designs, Brooke, Ridge and Steffy freaked out! In Katie's office, she concluded the Forresters were sabotaging themselves. Jarrett pointed out her sisters wouldn't knowingly deceive her. Would they? Alone, Katie looked increasingly betrayed. She called Brooke to come see her. Ridge worried to Steffy about the splintering of the Logan sisters. Upstairs, Katie questioned Brooke about the rift between them. She stressed that her family means everything to her and asked Brooke to tell her the truth.

In Nick's office at Jackie M, Sandy continued to reel from the discovery of all the unprocessed rape kits. "You'll get your justice, Sandy. I'll see to it," Nick promised. But what about all the other women? She was furious about all the excuses of budget cuts and priorities. "Something has to be done!" she said of the backlog. "It's just not right." Then, she thanked Nick for giving her hope. He was glad to see "the real Sandy." And, indeed, she was energized about finding justice and moving forward with her life. But she begged Nick not to tell Bridget anything yet. On cue, Bridget arrived! After Sandy ran off in a rush, Nick calmed Bridget's worries. Then, she told him the rumors about the Dare line and they got a little busy.

Wednesday

In her office, Katie waited for an answer from Brooke. "It hurts, doesn't it ... that I would question your loyalty," Katie accused. She demanded to know if she was being betrayed. Brooke begged Katie to convince Bill to hand the company back over to the Forresters. Katie refused, and continued to bully Brooke for an answer about the designs. Brooke tearfully admitted that the Dare line had been a setup. Her eyes filling with tears, Katie unleashed her fury. Brooke attempted to explain that the sabotage was their only option to regain Forrester. She apologized for hurting Katie. The two argued loudly. Brooke sadly whispered that she loved Katie. "You don't get to say that!" Katie screamed. She spat at Brooke that she would have never betrayed her family the way her sisters and their husbands had. Brooke begged her not to tell Bill, and asked that she try to forgive her sisters. Brooke left, and dissolved into tears outside the office.

At Insomnia, Steffy finished up a P.R. meeting. Bill arrived and began grilling her about the Dare line. She responded by saying that he was over their shoulders too much. "You're worse than a third grade teacher!" she shot defensively. Their conversation turned to her ill-fated kiss. Steffy claimed that she had kissed him because she hated him, and had been just trying to mess with him. "I don't like you much either," Bill smirked. The two continued to flirt under the guise of shooting barbs back and forth. Steffy smiled as she flashed back to the night of the cabin in which she and Bill kissed passionately.

Bill entered Katie's office, and found Katie distracted. "Turns out, the brilliant new line isn't so brilliant after all," she informed him. "We've had our suspicions, and today they were confirmed. The Dare line is their attempt to drive the company into the ground." Brooding, Bill marched around the office with his hands on his hips. He got madder and madder as he labeled the Forresters traitors. Katie tried to defuse his anger, to no avail. Fuming, Bill ordered Katie to get all the Forresters together immediately. Katie begged him to let her be in charge, and to let her do her job as CEO.

Meanwhile, in Ridge's office, Eric was angry that the designs had made their way to Katie. "She's on to us," Eric lamented. Ridge, Eric and Donna strategized about how to handle the situation. They agreed that if Bill were to find out about their plan, they were doomed. Just then, Brooke arrived and announced that Katie knew everything. Eric surmised that Bill would soon know, too. His theory was confirmed when they were summoned to Katie's office.

Once everyone was gathered together, Ridge told Bill to save his breath ... that he already knew what he was going to say. "You have no idea what I'm going to say," Bill growled. "Or do," he spat ominously.

Thursday

Nick and Bridget had Jackie and Owen join them for dinner in Nick's office. They wanted to thank Owen for pointing them towards surrogacy. "I'm going to be a grandpa," he marveled. Nick and Bridget had even bought him grandparent presents: a t-shirt, a pipe, plaid slippers, and a hearing aid! The foursome joked about how close they'd all gotten and how Nick and Owen had come to trust each other. And Nick would be happy to have his kids call Owen "Grandpa Six Pack." "Eight pack," corrected Jackie.

Bill blasted an unrepentant Ridge and Eric for their duplicity. "You are my employees," he reminded. "Katie and I are in charge." As Katie, Brooke and Donna looked on, Bill told them they could shape up or quit. Of course, the non-compete clause meant they'd probably only find jobs at the mall! He even pointed out that their plan would've made them look like idiots. When Donna tried to defend Eric and Ridge, Bill turned his ire on her and Brooke. He talked about how Katie had wanted him to know how special her family was, but her sisters had turned on her. "You're jealous little tramps," he hissed. Katie didn't quite appreciate his method of defense. Brooke insisted she and Donna love their sister but getting Forrester back was worth any risk. Bill again urged them all to quit and knowing they couldn't, he reveled in squashing their mutiny. The Forresters all tried to suss out the situation. When Brooke and Donna angsted over Katie, Steffy went off, dubbing Katie a backstabber. Brooke and Donna still defended their baby sis. Steffy vented that she was "fed up with the Logan presence" at the company, noting that their weakening of Forrester had allowed Bill to take it over. At the beach house, Katie and Bill argued about the big showdown. Furious Bill refused to spend time with her family outside work and told Katie to "shut up and listen" to him. As a storm raged outside, Katie noted her sisters were her problem, not his. "You need to see them for who they really are," he warned her. "They will toss you to the wolves." What was complex to Katie was black and white to Bill. Unable to listen anymore, Katie said she was going for a drive. Bill asked her not to walk out the door.

Friday

Katie stormed out of the beach house. Bill said she had to make a choice — "Your sisters or me." "I can't be here," she replied as the door slammed behind her and the storm raged outside. Steffy showed up at Bill's door. She noted that he was drinking alone. He suggested that she get out. Steffy asked where Katie was as Bill began drinking straight out of the bottle. Katie sent Bill a text saying she was okay and at Brooke's. Steffy thought it was very interesting that Katie was at her sister's, then suggested he give up the company. "That's never going to happen," Bill snarled. He insisted Steffy leave, but then the electricity went out. "I have said all I am going to say to you," Bill snapped as he lit some candles. Steffy said she wouldn't have walked out on him. "Katie is going to be home any minute," he insisted...then got a text saying that Katie was staying at Brooke's. "It's not right," said Steffy, and they kissed passionately before he pushed her out of the door.

A crying Katie showed up to see Brooke and Donna. "I've been arguing with my husband, defending you, the way you should have been defending me," she sobbed. "So here I am. Thanks to you I walked out on my husband," she added. Brooke and Donna were stunned. Brooke tried to convince her that they hadn't wanted to hurt her. "Please, do not shut us out of your life," Brooke begged. Katie wanted to go home. "I feel completely beat up, inside and out. I don't know who I can trust," Katie added. Donna and Brooke looked mighty guilty as Katie wondered how their relationship could ever be the same.

"I'm proud of you," Nick told Sandy, who thanked him for all his help. They talked about seeing all those unprocessed rape kits. "I can't stop thinking of all of those women," she added. Nick was glad that Sandy was getting her life back. Sandy vowed to put her rapist in jail. The detective showed up with bad news: There were no DNA matches. Sandy became enraged. The detective did promise that he wasn't giving up and gave Sandy his card. Nick begged Sandy not to go back into that dark place. Nick and Bridget
had been a lifeline for her, Sandy replied.
