Bold and Beautiful Recaps

B&B Week of July 12, 2010

Monday

A bikini-clad Katie sat outside with Bill playing chess and asked him to tell her what he's planning. He told her to trust him and that he was looking out for her father and sisters. Bill then crawled on top of her and kissed her.

Brooke visited Stephen in jail. He couldn't believe that she left Forrester. Brooke urged him to take the deal from Stephanie, but he believed that Bill could help him. Pam then visited Stephen and he thanked her for being so kind to him. She gave him a container of lemon bars and was concerned that a man like him didn't belong in prison. She asked why he wouldn't accept the deal and he said that he had to make sure that his daughters are provided for. Pam reminded him that his daughters aren't all he has left. Bill had a spy watch them. Pam and Stephen leaned in toward each other, but the guard told her not to touch the prisoner.

Later, Bill met with Brooke and Katie, but still wouldn't tell them his plan. He assured them that Stephen would be free and Donna would get her percentage of Forrester.

At Forrester, Steffy, Stephanie, Eric and Ridge met to discuss Stephen and Donna. Steffy was happy to continue with her quest to get rid of the Logans. Stephanie was also pleased that Brooke was gone, but Ridge wasn't so happy with the turn of events. She reminded Ridge how much it meant to Eric to have control of the company.

Bill, Katie and Brooke went to the hearing with Eric, Stephanie and Steffy. Stephanie wanted to come up with a simple agreement — that she'll talk to the DA about Stephen in exchange for Donna dropping her suit for a percentage of Forrester. Bill countered that this was about Donna not getting the respect she deserved and that she had been mistreated by the Forresters. Stephanie argued that Bill wanted to use Donna's stock to get his foot in the door. Bill went outside and called his spy, who wasn't sure that their plan would work. Spencer returned to the hearing and said that they're not accepting Stephanie's deal. Brooke wanted to accept it, for her father's sake. Bill took her and Katie outside and insisted that his plan would work. Stephanie interrupted and said that if they didn't accept the offer now, she was pulling it off the table.

The guard took Stephen back to his cell. Stephen vowed to find a way out of jail and spoke aloud to the late Beth about how he'd let their daughters down. He was determined to be the winner for once, and make Stephanie the loser.... At Forrester, Brooke said that they'd take the offer, but Bill said they wouldn't. Spencer wanted to play hardball. Stephanie threatened to have Stephen prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Brooke and Katie flipped out, but Bill remained calm. He then brought in a witness to prove whether Stephen had really committed attempted murder — Pam! She stated that Stephen wasn't trying to kill Stephanie and is not a murderer. Stephanie was furious and accused Bill of using her sister. Bill pointed out that Stephanie was never in any danger and Stephen should be freed from jail.

Tuesday

Hope visited Stephen in jail and urged him not to give up on getting out, then shared that she's leaving L.A. to attend college in Boston. Stephen was surprised and asked if the Forresters were making her life miserable; she replied that Oliver had convinced her to go and this had nothing to do with Steffy. Hope called her boyfriend "amazing" and wished that Stephen could get to know him. Stephen was just happy that she had someone who cared about her so much. Hope explained that Oliver was going to help her move in, but they'd still be together. Stephen warned that long-distance relationships could be difficult, but Hope had faith that she and Oliver would work out. He urged her to concentrate on the happy things in her life and not worry about everything else going on in her family.

At Forrester, Pam arrived at the hearing and defended Stephen. Stephanie accused Bill of using her sister and warned Pam to watch out. Eric also believed that Bill wanted to get a foothold in the company. Pam stated that Stephen had been going crazy with grief and she understood what that was like. Steph was upset that she was making excuses for him. Bill warned Stephanie that if she wants to push people around, she'd better have the leverage. Stephanie took Pam aside to discuss Stephen, but Pam continued to defend him. Eric didn't understand why they were discussing this when the hearing was supposed to be about Donna. Pam still didn't believe that Stephen intended to hurt anyone. "He's not some cold-blooded killer," Pam said seriously. "I don't think that he belongs in jail." Bill smugly reminded Katie and Brooke that he'd told them not to worry about Stephen. The judge prepared to make his decision; Bill smirked at Steph. Later, Katie and Brooke spoke quietly and wondered if they should call Donna.... Stephanie told the sisters that her offer still stands if they could get Donna to drop her suit. Bill cut in that all Steph could do was ask the D.A. for leniency. Brooke and Katie decided to not accept the offer. The judge ruled that Donna should be awarded the 12.5 percent stock. Eric believed that Bill would eventually get the stock through Donna and was livid.... Pam offered Stephanie a lemon bar to make amends. Steph stated that Stephen doesn't love Pam, but Pam argued that he's a good man who's made some mistakes. "Maybe you've forgotten what it feels like to be a villain, but I haven't," Pam said, noting that she wanted to give Stephen a second chance.... Bill visited Stephen in jail and told him that Pam had come through for him and Donna. He then informed Stephen that he'd soon be a free man. Stephen was surprised that Pam had defended him and thanked Bill for his help. He was grateful that Bill was able to take care of his daughters. "We make a good team," Bill said and added that he needs Stephen to persuade Donna to sell Bill her share. Bill was determined to make Forrester Creations his again.

Wednesday

At Forrester, Ridge and Stephanie couldn't believe that Donna got her 12.5 percent of the company. Meanwhile, Katie and Brooke were thrilled when Bill told them that Stephen would soon be out on bail. They went to the jail to celebrate. Stephen thought that Brooke should be with Hope since her daughter was soon leaving for Boston.... Thorne joined his mom on the roof and they discussed Bill. Steph was also worried about Pam getting involved with Stephen. Thorne offered to talk to her, but Steph wanted Stephen away from her sister.... Bill admitted to Katie that using Pam as a witness had been a calculated risk. Katie asked her father if he had feelings for Pam. Pam arrived and Stephen thanked her for helping him. Soon, Stephen was released, but first, he asked for a moment alone with Pam. He wondered how he could repay her and admitted that he has feelings for her. Pam hugged him.

At Forrester, Hope was excited to be leaving, but sad to be leaving Oliver and her family. They declared their love for each other and embraced. Steffy caught them in the act. After, Hope went to say good-bye to Ridge and Steffy confronted Oliver. She asked if he was going to back out of their deal. Brooke joined Ridge and Hope; Oliver and Steffy also entered the office with them. Hope was surprised when Steffy mentioned that Brooke resigned from Forrester. Hope didn't believe that she decided to leave voluntarily and accused Steffy of forcing her mother out. Brooke insisted that it was her own decision and Ridge backed her up. Hope was relieved and went on about how she's thinking of working with special needs kids. She even gave Steffy credit for teaching her a lot. Brooke began to cry over her daughter leaving. Ridge saw Oliver and Hope out and Brooke asked if Steffy was satisfied. Steffy said that she isn't and wants Brooke to get back Donna's stock in the company.

Later, Stephanie paid Stephen a visit and demanded that he stay away from Pam. She didn't believe that his story about grief driving his actions was true and warned him that she could have him put back in jail.

Oliver helped Hope pack, but she forgot to get her favorite stuffed bear, Lorenzo. She spied him admiring her photo and reminded him that he was giving her the strength to leave.... Brooke didn't understand why Steffy wasn't happy with how things had turned out. Steffy wanted Forrester to be completely Logan-free and believed that Bill would use Donna's stock to get at the company. She again demanded that Brooke get Donna to give back her shares. Brooke couldn't believe that she was being blackmailed again.

Thursday

Steffy tried to blackmail Brooke again by imploring Brooke to get Donna to turn over her shares of Forrester. Brooke couldn't believe that Steffy was doing this to her again, but Steffy warned that if she didn't do what she said, she'd tell everyone about Brooke and Oliver. Later, Steffy assured Stephanie that she'd handle the Donna problem. Stephanie was confident that she could take care of it.

At Jackie M, Aggie approached Bridget, who was cold toward her. Aggie explained that she told Nick about Bridget's baby because she thought he had a right to know. Bridget then told new employee Amber that she hopes their paths don't cross. Nick entered and wondered why everyone was so tense. Whip thought they should wait for Owen to arrive, but Nick said that Owen wasn't invited. He then announced that Bridget was pregnant with Owen's child, embarrassing Bridget and Jackie. Nick wanted to keep the information within the company only, but Whip feared that it would get out in the press. Amber seemed to enjoy the drama. Bridget looked ashamed. Jackie insisted that her marriage to Owen was secure... Bridget stopped by Nick's office and told him that she's glad to see him back at work. "I really need you," she said and asked for another chance. "We can't erase what happened," he sighed. "You're not my wife anymore." Bridget declared her love for him, but he admitted that he couldn't get over her betrayal. Bridget broke down. Later, a dejected Bridget told Jackie that her marriage to Nick is really over. Jackie tried to comfort her.... Nick held up two photos of himself with Bridget, then stuck them in his drawer. Aggie joined him and he thanked her for being honest with him. He asked if there was something he could do to repay her, then invited her to dinner.

Ridge and Oliver helped Hope pack for college in Boston. Hope wanted to go for a swim. Brooke returned home, looking upset, and lied that she was just sad about Hope leaving. When Hope and Ridge stepped away, Brooke filled in Oliver on Steffy's new blackmail; she wanted to 'fess up to Ridge about being with Oliver so Steffy could stop holding it over her. Oliver thought it was a bad idea.... Hope and Ridge enjoyed a swim in the pool. Ridge told her that she doesn't have to go, but she didn't want to let down Brooke and Oliver. Later, Oliver joined Hope outside; she reminded him that she'd be home for winter break in 127 days. They kissed.

Inside, Brooke asked to speak to Ridge and prepared to tell him about the night of the graduation party. She admitted that something was being held over her head. "I made a horrible mistake and I pray to God that you can forgive me," she stated.

Friday

Brooke prepared to tell Ridge about being with Oliver. She started to say she’d made a horrible mistake — that Steffy knew about. He wondered what it had to do with Steffy. Brooke explained how Steffy had blackmailed her into leaving Forrester, due to something bad that Brooke had done. Ridge wanted to know more about the "scandal." Brooke noted that she and Oliver encouraged Hope to leave town so that they could protect her from Steffy. Ridge wished that she and Steffy could resolve their differences. Brooke then told him how confused she'd been at the masked graduation party, and how she'd made love to a man whom she'd thought was Ridge, but had really been Oliver — and how Oliver had thought that she'd been Hope. Ridge couldn't believe it. "I really thought it was you," she insisted, breaking into sobs. She then filled him in on how Steffy kept blackmailing her for more things. Ridge didn't know what to say. "This is the kind of thing that only happens to you," he sighed. Brooke apologized for hurting him. Surprisingly, Ridge forgave her and pulled her into an embrace.

At Forrester, Steffy looked forward to having an in-house celebration. She and Stephanie relished the Logans being out of the company. Taylor joined them after returning from out of town and Steffy gave her the good news about the Logans. Stephanie informed Taylor about Brooke's resignation and about Hope going to college in Boston. Stephanie gave Steffy a large office for herself. Taylor was proud of her daughter. Stephanie then gave her granddaughter a beautiful pin. Later, Stephanie tried to get Steffy to share what she had on Brooke.

Hope and Oliver kissed by the pool. Hope lamented that she was going to miss her boyfriend, but he didn't want her to put her life on hold for him. They tried to enjoy their last night together. She reminded him that she wouldn't be away forever, but had one request for him: that he stay away from Steffy.
