Monday
As a sea of flashbulbs popped, Eric came on the runway and escorted a very sticky and glittery Donna backstage, where everyone gathered around her in shock. "I'm going to be the laughing stock of the fashion industry," moaned Donna. When she realized she was covered in honey, Donna screamed that Pam was behind the dousing. Eric agreed that "it does look like one of Pam's stunts."
Elsewhere at Forrester Creations, Pam was positively giddy with her prank but Stephanie called her sister and ordered her to hide until Steph could get there. When she arrived, Pam was in stitches as she outlined how she pulled off Donna's public humiliation. Donna, still a gooey mess, appeared and accused Pam of ambushing her. Although Pam was still collapsing in giggles, she didn't admit her responsibility. Eric approached and ordered Stephanie and Pam into his office.
Katie tried desperately to do spin control with the press, but a reporter doubted that such a disaster would've happened if Stephanie, Thorne and Felicia were still at Forrester. When Katie was alone, a gloating Bill showed up and said he was going to put a honey-dripping Donna on the cover of Eye on Fashion. Katie asked him not to do that, so Bill offered her the opportunity to change his mind over dinner. Katie accepted the challenge.
In Eric's office, his banker huffed that the fashion show was a disaster. After he left, Eric blasted Pam for dumping on Donna, thus ruining his chances for a comeback. Eric was about to fire Pam, but she handed him her letter of resignation. Before exiting the room, Pam squealed in delight that she never has to hear the words "Honey Bear" again. Stephanie praised Eric's designs but he was upset that no one will be talking about them. Stephanie reminded Eric that today's catastrophe once again proves that Donna is still a detriment to Forrester Creations. A showered Donna walked in and agreed but Eric balked. He insisted that he loves her and that she was the inspiration for the best work she has ever done. "I need you," he impressed and the couple reaffirmed their commitment to each other.
Tuesday
Ridge thought the only thing the press would remember is Donna dripping in
honey and glitter. Steffy and Thomas vowed their commitment to Ridge and
Forrester creations. Ridge was deeply touched. Ridge and Thomas urged Steffy
to give Marcus another chance. Steffy jumped to Rick's defense. The kids
headed off to bed and left Ridge and Taylor alone. Taylor snuggled up
against Ridge. Ridge and Taylor began to make love. Taylor thanked Ridge for
coming back to their family. "I never want to live without you," she
admitted.
Donna opened up and told Marcus that all she brings to Eric's life is
trouble and scandal. "I don't want to cause any more grief for my honey
bear," she sighed as she added that Pam had quit. Phew. Donna wanted to see
the photos of herself drenched in honey. Marcus said, "No way," and put them
away. Donna told her son she thought he has better use for his time than
helping out his mother. Marcus told his mom that the pics of her covered
with honey "wasn't a good look." Donna winced at the thought of them being
on the cover of Bill's magazine.
Marcus paid Steffy a visit. She was on the terrace. She was so excited at
the thought of her parents getting back together. "It's funny how that can
happen," Marcus agreed. Marcus kissed Steffy's cheek, making it clear that he
was still interested in her.
Bill was wining and dining Katie. Bill admitted that his dream was to run a
fashion house — "not take advantage of an inebriated woman." He asked her to be by his side when he gets his fashion house. "You want me to help you run
Forrester Creations?" Katie asked. Bill said he wants Forrester Creations
and "therefore I will have it" as he reminded Katie that he'd need someone
on the inside to help him. Bill continued to flirt with her. Katie begged
Bill not to put Donna on the cover of Eye on Fashion. "This photograph has power," Bill said. Katie left and he sent the photo to the printer.
Wednesday
Brooke showed up at Taylor's house with R.J. so he could visit with his dad. Taylor explained that Ridge wasn't home so the ladies tried to be civil to each other. Brooke politely accused Taylor of getting in the way and exacerbating Brooke's problems with Ridge. Brooke found it hard to believe that a professional like Taylor didn't recognize that Ridge was medicating himself when he slept with her. Taylor insisted she loves Ridge and always will.
In Eric's office, everyone freaked over the press coverage on the disastrous fashion show. During an emergency meeting, Eric promoted Donna to the position that Stephanie vacated and asked Marcus to assume Thorne's slot, and moved Thomas and Steffy to Felicia's spot. As everyone brainstormed about marketing strategies, Marcus pitched a new line to sell to a younger market and suggested that Steffy be the spokesmodel. Steffy objected but Eric thought his granddaughter would be perfect. He then ordered Steffy, Rick, Thomas and Marcus to spearhead the project. Ridge got a call that Brooke was waiting for him and left the meeting.
Bill relished the thought of Eric hating him even more. When Katie showed up to whine about the bad publicity Bill created, he presented the scathing article about Eric and Donna that he didn't publish. "You did this for me, didn't you?" Katie smiled and wondered why Bill has to be so cold. She cozied up to him and said she would like to meet his vulnerable side one day.
Ridge returned home to tension with Brooke. She confessed that moving on without him is tough but she has to soldier on somehow. While Taylor was out of the room, Brooke admitted that she "screwed up" by letting Ridge go. "I will never stop loving you," she choked and Ridge gave her a comforting hug. Taylor watched as Brooke left while Ridge urged her to stay.
Thursday
Taylor dropped by Stephanie's office at Jackie M to express her concern
about Brooke interfering in a reunion with Ridge. When Pam popped her head
in, Taylor chided her for the stunt she'd pulled at the fashion show. Then
Nick, Jackie and Clarke showed up, and Stephanie announced she wanted to
hire Pam as executive assistant. The dubious Jackie M gang questioned Pam's
experience. "Other than the growth in my brain and being institutionalized,
my life's been pretty boring," Pam chirped, then yanked out a photo of Tiny
and expressed her hatred for "dog killer" Donna. Pam and her pearls don't
fit in with the cutting edge image they want for Jackie M, said Clarke. "I'm
an odd duck," confessed Pam. "But I'm a hard worker...I'd make Jackie M
proud." Nick reluctantly asked when she could start.
Bill found Katie in his office looking disgustedly at the layout of Donna
covered in honey. "Should I take cover?" grinned Bill, who suggested the
publicity could be good for Forrester. Katie flirtatiously warned Bill not
to mess with Forrester — or her.
At Forrester, Steffy told the family she wanted to help out, but didn't want
to be Forrester's spokesmodel. As they waited for photographer Giovanni to
arrive, Ridge and Eric urged her to reconsider. "Somebody's got to step up,"
Steffy finally sighed, and changed into a shiny gold gown. Giovanni snapped
photos of an awkward Steffy, who afterward repeated her reservations about
being a model. Bill turned up and scoffed at the endeavor. "The once mighty
Forrester Creations is on the slippery slope to bankruptcy," Bill smirked.
Bill's never going to have this company, raged Eric. He built this company
for his children. "And there are only a few of them still here," pointed out
Bill. Alone with Bill, Ridge insisted Forrester Creations was not going to
tail, and ordered Bill out.
Distracted by her earlier conversation with Taylor about Brooke, Stephanie
rifled through resumes for public relations execs. Suddenly she came across
a familiar face: Brooke's ex-husband, Whip....
Friday
Taylor was peeved when Brooke showed up at Forrester Creations to see
Ridge. After Brooke left in search of Ridge, Taylor tipped off her kids that
their father's ex-wife was in the building. Thomas and Steffy were miffed,
then curious as to Brooke's agenda and wanted to talk to Ridge right away.
Taylor told them to leave their dad alone but Steffy remained suspicious of
Brooke's intentions. When she was alone, Taylor fretted about what was going
on between Ridge and Brooke.
Stephanie, Jackie and Nick met to interview applicants for a PR
position at Jackie M. Jackie and Nick were surprised when Brooke's
ex-husband Whip Jones showed up for an interview. It was obvious that
Stephanie was expecting Mr. Jones. During the interview, Whip adeptly
answered everyone's pointed questions, even though Nick was a little snarky. Whip
waited outside with Pamela while Stephanie, Jackie and Nick discussed
the possibility of hiring him. Clarke, hovering around Pam's desk,
worried that Whip would make more than him. Jackie called Whip back in,
where he was informed that he got the job.
Brooke found Ridge and asked how their relationship ended. He recounted that
she was the one who broke up with him and pushed him to reunite with Taylor.
Brooke explained that she made a mistake and wanted Ridge back. "I want to
be with you," she cried and drew Ridge into a steamy kiss, which he didn't
resist.
Stephanie cornered Whip and revealed that Brooke is all by herself since
breaking up with Ridge. Whip smelled a set-up and pointed out that he
doesn't owe Stephanie any favors. She urged him to connect with Brooke and
Whip was obviously interested.
