Monday
Stephanie showed up at Bill's office to order him to back off of Forrester. He doesn't need her anymore, said Bill dismissively. "Game's over." He's heading down a dangerous path, pointed out Stephanie, warning Bill against slandering Eric with accusations about hiring undocumented workers. He's determined to acquire Forrester, even if it means getting Eric thrown in jail, replied Bill. "That will happen over my dead body," warned Stephanie.
As Bill watched a sexy tape of Donna, she was insisting to Eric that they shouldn't trust Stephanie. Bill is a force to be reckoned with, said Donna: "He lives for getting what he wants."
Stephanie went to see Eric to say she was through with the Logan Chronicles. She also admitted that she'd made an innocuous comment to Bill regarding undocumented workers. Eric recalled an incident a few years ago, but said they'd been very careful since then. Was Eric sure there's no dirt Bill could uncover? pressed Stephanie. Their bases are covered, assured Eric, who raged about Stephanie getting involved with Bill. She was angry and disappointed after Eric woke up from his coma and chose to be with Donna instead of her, explained Stephanie. She'd wanted to get the company back for their children's sake. She hadn't anticipated things playing out this way. Meanwhile, Bill was coercing a press contact into digging into the records of Forrester Creations employees, and turned up the name of an employee who was using the name of a deceased legal resident. Identity theft — just the proof he needed to bring Eric to his knees, gloated Bill. He phoned Stephanie to say that either Eric sells Forrester Creations, or goes to jail for a long, long time. "Stephanie, you're no match for me," Bill grinned.
At Jackie M, Jackie offered to baby sit for Nick and Bridget. Not if the offer included Owen, snarled Nick. Don't be such an old fuddy duddy, chirped Jackie — was it so difficult for Nick to believe Owen might actually like her for who she is? Owen arrived for a meeting, but Jackie was called away. "Play nice boys," she purred on her way out the door. Owen told Nick he cared about Jackie. "You'll never be anything more than her boy toy," spat Nick. Jackie returned and accused Nick of bullying Owen. "You were the one who told me to go out and find somebody," reasoned Jackie. Nick stalked out, and Owen locked the door. "You're the boss, Jackie," he said, removing his coat, unbuttoning his shirt and clearing his desk. They started making out on the desk.
Tuesday
Donna found Eric and Stephanie sharing a tender moment and asked what's going on. Eric explained how he tried to help illegal aliens by employing them at Forrester Creations. Donna was touched by his generosity, then Stephanie added that Bill may have found this out because of something she
mentioned to him. "You idiot!" Donna raged at Steph but Eric said that Bill may just be bluffing that he possesses any incriminating info.
Jack told Bridget that he's convinced Owen is an opportunist after Jackie's money. Bridget noted that Nick is being "a little harsh" on Owen but he didn't agree. As much as Bridget flirted, Nick continued to stew about Owen.
Owen complained to Jackie that Nick will try to drive him out of the company. Jackie pointed out that there re a lot of "limitations" on their relationship because of the age difference between them. Owen agreed that they can't have children of their own but he's willing to adopt. Jackie started to freak out by that prospect but Owen stated that she is "the best thing" to come into his life. Jackie was moved and grabbed her boy toy in a tight hug. Jackie admitted she had been a lonely woman until Owen came along. "I'm really happy," she announced.
Bill arrived at Forrester and wasted no time in revealing that he knows Eric hired undocumented workers. Spencer ordered Eric to accept the deal to sell Forrester or go to jail. "This is extortion," Eric pointed out and refused Bill's offer. Stephanie declared that Forrester Creations is a family business and she's going to make sure that it stays that way. “I'll do whatever I have to," she said. Eric was surprised when Stephanie called her ex a "decent and good man." Bill left so Eric and Stephanie could mull over his proposal and Donna followed him. In a different office, Bill reminded Donna that if she just spent one night with him, he will drop his deal.
Wednesday
Donna appeared to seriously mull over Bill's offer for a one-night stand but she blanched when he stroked her face. Donna then announced that she would not spend the night with Bill. Meanwhile, Eric and Stephanie were stressing out in his office about Bill's extortion. "He has us right where he wants us," Stephanie lamented. Bill and Donna returned and he asked for a decision about his offer to buy Forrester Creations. "No deal," Eric bellowed and Bill reiterated his threat to send Eric to prison. Donna blurted that all this could be resolved in just one night. Stephanie asked what that meant but Donna only hedged that the situation will look better in the morning. A lecherous Bill gave Donna a knowing look. After Bill and Stephanie left, Donna broke down in tears as she sobbed that she won't let Eric go to jail or allow Bill to have Forrester.
Nick revealed to Bridget that he tried to fire Owen but Jackie saved his job. Knowing that his mother was working at home, Nick couldn't stop wondering if Owen was with her and decided to check it out.
After having sex, Owen asked Jackie to move in with him. She chuckled at the thought of moving into his beach house so she suggested that he move into her loft. Owen was reluctant at first until Jackie pointed out that he helped her pick out her place so he agreed. They hit the sheets again and after they were finished, Nick barged in and was upset to find them together. "You have deplorable timing," Jackie shrieked, then announced that Owen is moving in. Nick went ballistic but Jackie fumed that Owen makes her feel "free" and even "funny." Nick stormed out and Jackie could see Jackie was obviously upset by her son's visit.
Donna showed up at Bill's hotel room where he had champagne ready. Donna couldn't hide her depression and Bill explained that Eric will return to Stephanie because he always does. "It will happen again," Bill noted. "Don't be another one of Eric's discards." Bill realized that Donna didn't want to be with him but he asked her to let him change her mind. Once again, Donna looked conflicted.
Thursday
Bill presented honey for Donna to drizzle on his body. Although Donna admitted that Bill can "be a decent guy," she refused to betray her husband. Bill reminded that there remains a "dilemma" because Eric could still go to jail but Donna doubted that Bill would keep his word to leave Forrester Creations alone even if she followed though. "Make love to me tonight and Eric will be safe," Bill pitched once again. Donna said she lost Eric's trust once before and she won't risk that again. Bill suggested that Donna convince Eric to sell Forrester Creations.
Felicia and Thorne were shocked to hear from their parents that they had hired undocumented workers. The bad news kept coming as Stephanie shared Bill's blackmail. Both Felicia and Thorne urged their dad to sell but Eric refused to "roll over." Eric summoned Bobby, an affected employee, and warned him that his identity was no longer safe so he had to leave. Because of Eric's generosity, Bobby declared that he was able to send his son to medical school. Eric insisted that Bobby accept a wad of cash as severance pay.
Owen moved his stuff into Jackie's loft, then fixed dinner. While they dined by candlelight, Jackie vowed to get Nick to accept their relationship. Between courses, they smooched and giggled.
So his children couldn't be connected to his legal problems, Eric shredded some documents. Felicia blamed her mom's blogs for their quandary but Eric said it was his fault for firing Stephanie. She admitted that her anger keeps getting her in trouble then shared a close moment with Eric. Felicia and Thorne were touched, then once again begged their dad to sell. Eric noted that Bill could be bluffing but Donna arrived with Bill's new and much lower offer. Donna later called Bill with the news that Eric won't sell. After they hung up, Bill approved the next cover of Eye On Fashion: A picture of Eric behind bars.
Friday
Rick told Brooke that he was "learning a lot about myself" through therapy. He also admitted that he's still very much in love with Steffy and wanted her back. Brooke reluctantly gave Rick her support. After Rick headed out, Ridge came downstairs and revealed that "a stupid clerical error" invalidated their marriage. Brooke was upset that Ridge had known for a while but he said they now have an excuse to do their nups all over again. That seemed to make Brooke happy until Ridge mentioned that he was glad Rick and Steffy weren't together.
Bill arrived at Forrester to find Felicia, Thorne, Stephanie, Eric and Donna waiting for him. "What's it going to be?" Spencer asked. Eric insisted he wasn't selling. Bill then presented a mock cover of Eric behind bars but that didn't change his mind. After Bill once again outlined his extortion plot in specific detail, two Forrester lawyers entered. Stephanie
gleefully informed Bill that she got every word of his blackmail description on tape. Steph threatened to send Bill to prison if he exposes Eric. Bill realized he lost this battle but warned that his fight with the Forresters is just getting started. After Bill left, Eric shared a warm moment with Stephanie and their kids. Donna stepped out of the office and taunted Bill that the "good guys won." Bill declared he isn't giving up on Forrester Creations or Donna. Later, when Eric and Stephanie were alone, he announced that he still loves her and kissed her. "Come back to me?" Eric asked his shocked ex.
Steffy reluctantly met Rick at a restaurant, where he asked for a second chance. She was willing but fretted how her father would react. Rick wanted to talk to Ridge right away so they went to Brooke's house together. Ridge was not happy to see his daughter walk in with Rick and angrily asked what's going on. Rick and Steffy said they were reuniting and Ridge screamed no. "It's not going to happen," Ridge insisted and instructed Brooke to voice her disapproval. When she hesitated, Ridge became enraged.
