B&B Week of June 22, 2009
Monday
Pam and Donna raved about their PRICE IS RIGHT experience to Eric, Felicia,
Thorne, and Brooke. Donna said she'd give her prize winnings to
charity ... save for the baking set, which Pam was coveting. The gang then all
wondered where Ridge was, forcing Brooke to admit that Ridge had spent the night
in the guest house. Bridget texted Brooke, asking her and Eric to meet up at
Nick's, and then Donna comforted Brooke about Ridge.
Ridge and Taylor awoke after a night of lovin'. Ridge was clearly a little
bit bewildered, while Taylor was raring to go, jumping out of bed to make
breakfast. She came back with a tray and Ridge admitted he was out of it and
hungover. He remembered they made love, though! He went off to take a shower
and clear the cobwebs while Taylor beamed blissfully. Of course, then she
saw her pill bottle sticking out of her purse ... empty. Stephanie called
wondering how the night had gone and Taylor hung up on her. When Ridge
emerged, Taylor confronted him about the pills and mixing them with wine. "I
didn't think it was that big of a deal," he shrugged. Taylor was mortified
that they'd had sex while he was drugged and she'd interpreted it as a real
connection. So how would they proceed? Ridge wanted to be honest with
Brooke, but Taylor wanted to keep the romp under wraps because she'd thought
they were reuniting. However, she promised she wasn't giving up on him.
She'd never give up on him.
Nick and Bridget awoke in bed, looking forward to their wedding day. Nick
told Bridget he'd asked Rick to be his best man. At Jackie's, she and Owen
were amorously looking forward to their future. Jackie was worried about
Nicky and his wedding but planned to attend with Owen and introduce
him as her fiancé. Later, Eric and Brooke arrived to visit Bridget, who
assured them she and Nick were determined to make it work. Plus, she wanted
her dad to walk her down the aisle. At Jackie M, Nick walked in on Owen and
Jackie canoodling and freaked out, warning Owen's days of "pawing" Jackie
were "numbered." He reiterated that Owen wasn't welcome at his wedding,
saying that if he showed up, he'd leave "on a stretcher." Back at Nick's,
Bridget showed off the wedding dress she'd designed herself and asked Brooke
to be her maid of honor.
Tuesday
At Jackie M, Bridget tried to get their honeymoon location out of Nick, to
no avail. He told her to focus on not screwing up the vows and then asserted
that if Owen showed up at the wedding, he'd kill him! Ouch. In Jackie's
office, Owen vented about Nick's 'tude and Jackie asked him to trust her,
comforting him with a kiss. Later, Bridget walked in on Owen snarking at
Jarrett on the phone about the wedding. Crabby Owen offered Bridget his
"condolences" on the marriage and ranted about how Nick thought he was a
"pretty boy" using Jackie. Nick and Jackie, meanwhile, went a few rounds.
Jackie tried to explain how Owen had changed her life and Nick shot back
with his suspicions about the young man. "I trust him!" Jackie insisted,
pointing out, "There are things from my past I'm not proud of!" She told him
she was alive again for the first time in years and wouldn't give it up:
"Even for you." She talked about how being married to Massimo had left her
lonely. Nick noted how that had left her open to the Deacon Sharpes and Owen
Knights of the world. Jackie said Owen wasn't a thing like Deacon. "Isn't
love everyone's dream?" she asked her son, hoping Nick would be
compassionate if and when she married Owen. Nearby, Owen warned Bridget that
he has limits and it would be a mistake if Nick crossed him. As he stalked
out, he ran into Nick in the hall! Meanwhile, their women shared their
concerns about Nick and Owen's rivalry. Nick shoved Owen into his office,
warning him that he'd no longer "abuse" Jackie and her trust and he wasn't
allowed to show his face at the wedding. They traded evil, violent glares
before going their separate ways.
Taylor flashed back on finding her pill bottle empty and Stephanie came in
to crow about her reconciling with Ridge. As Steph raved, embarrassed Taylor
couldn't say anything. She hedged about their night together.
Donna buoyed Eric about Nick and Bridget's nuptials, assuring that it would
work out this time. Alone, he studied an Eye On Fashion cover with
Stephanie, brooding. Then, Donna appeared with a bottle of honey and a
smile. "Not tonight," he sighed, opening up about their business failures
since Steph had left the company. Donna assured him they'd face all
challenges "hand in hand."
Wednesday
Nick and Bridget canoodled before their wedding. Eric zipped up Donna's
dress and they reminisced about their wedding day. Ridge, fixing his cuffs,
caught Steph flipping through an album and she revealed Eric had asked her
to return to Forrester, but she refused because of Donna. She moved on to
Taylor spending the night. "Gee, time to get to the chapel!" Ridge chirped,
changing the subject. At Taylor's, Taylor flashed back on the night of drugged
love and then Brooke showed up on her doorstep. At Jackie M, Jackie walked
in on Owen dressing for the wedding. "Don't let Nick push you around," he
urged. "We're going to the wedding together," she affirmed, tying his tie
for him. Nick caught up with best man Rick and asked him to help keep Owen
from the ceremony. Meanwhile, back at Nick's, Katie came to help Bridget
out. Donna showed up, too, and Bridget wondered what was keeping her mom.
Well, Brooke was thanking Taylor for helping Ridge — and making it clear
she expects Ridge to return to her after he's done healing. At the chapel,
Ridge continued to stonewall Stephanie about the guesthouse jinks. While
Jackie and the gals got set to head over, Nick ran into Owen at work and
reiterated his wedding warning. Then, he headed over to the house to borrow
Jackie and thank her for not bringing Owen.
At the chapel, Marcus showed up with a date named Kim and greeted
grandparents Beth and Stephen. Thorne and Felicia were shocked to see Bill
Spencer show up and so was Eric. Bill, Thorne and Felicia then all stared
at Stephanie and Eric looking cozy. Nearby, Ridge caught up with Thomas and
then commiserated with Taylor over Stephanie's nosiness. Stephanie snarked
at Bill and then glowered at Rick and Steffy kissing across the room. Back
at Nick's, Brooke gave Bridget an emerald bracelet and the emotional Logan
girls shared a hug. Then, the aunts got Jack stashed in the car and Bridget
raved about her life to Brooke.
The bridal party finally made it to the chapel, where Pam flirted with
Clarke (even calling him "Bucky"), Katie chatted with Bill ... and Jackie
entered with Owen! Nick was furious. He stalked down the aisle and Rick held
him back, trying to mediate. "He's staying. Owen is my fiancé!" Jackie said,
shocking the crowd and pleading with "Nicky" to let him stay. As Thorne
noted the bride was ready, Nick huffed back to the altar. Cue the maid of
honor, Brooke, and then Bridget, looking gorgeous. The wedding began, as
Bridget and Nick's loved (and hated) ones looked on.
Thursday
Bridget and Nick's wedding took place as friends and family looked on.
Bridget spoke from the heart, assuring Nick, "I do believe in our enduring
love." Brooke did a biblical reading from 1 Corinthians and then came the "I
do's" and the rings. Nick promised to be good to Bridget and faithful and
loving. "You're home to me," Bridget told him. Then, they were pronounced
husband and wife! As everyone headed for the reception, Katie and Nick had
an awkward moment of closure. In the church garden, Owen congratulated a
beaming Bridget, who begged him to stay away from Nick "just for today." He
agreed, noting they would be family soon. Inside, Jackie and Nick got into
it over Owen again. Pam interrupted to call them into the garden — and take
a few potshots at Jackie.
Nick and Bridget cut the cake and took a bite. (It looked delicious!) Then,
Bridget threw the bouquet, which landed right in Jackie's hands! Bridget and
Nick shared their first dance as a remarried couple. Katie looked all
wistful and lonely but rallied to trade snark with Bill. Stephen caught up
with Bill, too. Then, a flustered and overtired Beth showed up and Stephen
escorted her home. Nearby, Stephanie pestered Taylor about Ridge some more
and Thorne rescued Taylor by taking Steph to dance. Then, Brooke wondered if
there was something Ridge needed to tell her. Just as he answered in the
affirmative, Rick gave the Best Man's toast, cracking jokes at Nick's
expense the whole time. Everyone hit the dance floor for some romantic slow
dance action ... except Taylor, Brooke and Ridge. Nick grabbed a private
moment with Bridget to revel in their happiness and kiss passionately.
Friday
Nick and Bridget's reception was in full swing. Felicia and Thorne told Eric
of their intention to leave the company as a curious Jackie and Owen looked
on. Steffy grabbed a moment with Taylor and then Taylor had another
pill sex flashback. Nearby, Brooke and Ridge picked up the
thread of their earlier conversation and Nick seethed over Owen and Jackie's
cutting a rug. Rick and Steffy told Taylor, Ridge and Brooke they were
taking things slow, as in "abstinence." Ridge still didn't trust Rick,
though. Steffy unwittingly twisted the knife when she asked, "Why can't you
support us like Brooke does?" Across the garden, Eric and Stephanie talked
about her leaving Forrester and she said his problems began the day he
married Donna. Thorne wished Bridget a happy honeymoon while Nick asked
Clarke to keep an eye on Owen while he was gone. As the bride and groom
began saying their goodbyes and thank you's, Ridge and Brooke moved into
the chapel to talk. Bridget and Nick interrupted them before Ridge could
spill!
Out in the garden, Clarke questioned Jackie about Owen...and Nick came out
to threaten Owen again! Then, everyone ushered the bride and groom out with
a shower of white rose petals. Afterwards, Eric told Thorne and Felicia to
meet him in the office tomorrow to discuss their exits. Katie and Bill
slow-danced and flirted. Ridge told Taylor he intended to salvage his
marriage and didn't want to keep secrets from Brooke. He saw Rick and Steffy
canoodling, drew a heavy sigh, and vented to Brooke. He drew her inside to,
once again, try and tell her about the sex. Meanwhile, Nick whisked Bridget
onto a jet tricked out with a double bed and everything. Cue the wedding
night er, afternoon. "Mahalo," gasped Nick after a round of mattress tag,
revealing they're headed for Hawaii. Back in LA, Owen had a surprise for
Jackie: plane tickets to Hawaii! Stephanie caught Taylor crying and Taylor
finally admitted to the drugged sex. "I am devastated," she cried, as Ridge
geared up to tell Brooke the truth. He cited the honesty in their marriage
and she clearly had no clue what was coming....
