Monday
"Let's get married tonight!" a kneeling Brooke suggested to Ridge, who
pulled her up. He tenderly turned down the offer and stressed that they
couldn't get married until Nick was completely out of her system. Felicia then called and demanded that Ridge get over to their parents' anniversary party as soon as possible. Before departing, Ridge assured Brooke that they would get married when Brooke was "truly, truly ready."
"Be afraid!" Pamela hissed to Donna as Tiny ferociously barked. Donna was terrified of the snarling dog so once Pam parked him outside, she again promised to kill Donna unless she backed away from Eric. "I will stop you," Pam growled.
Bridget kissed Nick, who didn't pull away, but the doorbell interrupted them. Katie was at the door, but then she tried to excuse herself when she saw Bridget was present. Nick insisted that Katie stay but he had to leave the room for an important phone call. Katie asked her niece how it was going with Nick."We just kissed," Bridget said in a daze. Bridget then got paged by the hospital and had to leave. After she cut out, Nick returned and Katie started singing Bridget's praises. Nick saw through Katie and asked why she wanted him and Bridget to get back together. Katie pointed out that fate may be telling him that he should be with Bridget.
When Ridge arrived at the party, Stephanie asked why Brooke wasn't with him. "Consider that your anniversary present, Mother," Ridge countered. Kristen and Thorne made moving toasts to their parents. Ridge went next and, in part, enthused, "I truly believe that you and Dad are destined to be together." It was Felicia's turn and she poignantly reminded everyone in the room that the Forresters were strong and unique. "C'mon guys, we need to stick together as a family," she tearfully posed to her parents. Stephanie declared her love to Eric and he kissed, then hugged her. Eric expressed his pride to his children and lauded Stephanie for her role in his life. "You're the most maddening, confusing, infuriating person I've ever known," he lovingly said. "And if there is ever any doubt, I love you." That said, Felicia begged her dad not to leave their family.
Tuesday
"Please, Daddy, don't leave us," Felicia begged, but Eric insisted that nothing would break the bond that the family shares and even gave props to Stephanie for her matriarchal role. "I am going to marry Donna," Eric announced and Felicia had a meltdown. Now that the festive mood had been killed, Eric departed and his kids rallied around their mother. Pamela
walked in and, upon seeing her depressed sister, was off her nut that Eric went back to his "hot tamale."
Bridget came home from the hospital and told Brooke that she was spending a lot of time with Nick. "Honey, I don't think that's a good idea," Brooke pooh poohed and Bridget asked if her mother still harbored hope that she would get back together with her ex. Brooke insisted that she was only
concerned about her daughter getting hurt again. Brooke wasn't happy to learn that Katie was pushing Bridget to hook up with Nick again. As Ridge walked in, Bridget asked what her Mom's feelings were for Nick. Brooke observed Ridge eavesdropping and she enthusiastically declared her love for him to Bridget.
Donna was thrilled when Eric came back to her then tattled that Pamela had threatened homicide. Eric assured Donna that his sister-in-law was harmless and that Pam would be going back to Chicago soon. Meanwhile, Pamela vowed to herself that she would kill Donna, then snuffed out a candle with her bare fingers for added crazy effect.
Nick was surprised when Katie asked for Scotch while she started working on a jigsaw puzzle. Even after Nick said he had an important conference call, Katie still parked herself at the coffee table to work on the puzzle (hey, the pieces didn't look that big so she should be finished in no time). As
Nick tried to focus on his work, Katie challenged, "Why don't you make yourself useful and help with this?" Nick joined her on the puzzle and they started to get playful with each other (uh oh).
Wednesday
Donna and Eric smooched in his office (what else is new) and they were interrupted by Pam, who asked to speak to Eric in private. After Donna left, Eric chastised his sister-in-law for threatening his fiancée. Pam apologized and Eric insisted his heart belonged to Donna. "We want to build a life together," he declared. Pam asked that Eric at least ask Stephanie to come back and work at Forrester Creations again. Donna eavesdropped on the conversation and listened in horror as Eric agreed to Pam's suggestion.
Katie spent the night at Nick's house (in another room) to help with Jack. Nick offered $100 for her nanny duties but she wanted more. He coughed up another Benjamin and she happily scampered off.
Bridget couldn't stop thinking about her kiss with Nick. Rick came in from his morning swim and was surprised to hear that his sister was still hoping for another chance with Nick. Bridget insisted that she and her ex "are meant to be together." Rick voiced his doubts but still wished Bridget luck as she headed over to Nick's house.
Katie came home where Brooke scolded her for encouraging Bridget to pursue "I want it to stop before somebody gets hurt," ragged Brooke but Katie urged her sister to decide who she wants: Ridge or Nick. Brooke agreed she was being wishy washy and decided to talk to Nick. She showed up at his place just in time to hear Jackie ask if there was anything going on between him and Bridget. "That's what I want to know," Brooke announced. Jackie quickly excused herself and Brooke told Nick that she didn't want to see Bridget get hurt. Nick growled that Brooke had no right to tell him what to do since she decided to stay with Ridge. Oops. Bridget arrived just in time to hear Brooke order Nick to not get involve with her daughter.
Thursday
Bridget burst in on Brooke and Nick. "Mother, how can you do this to me?!" Bridget raged but Brooke insisted she was trying to protect her daughter. A fed-up Bridget accused her mom of being selfish and narcissistic. Brooke asked Nick to defend her but he conceded that Bridget "has a point." Jack started to cry and Brooke wanted to get his bottle. Nick told Brooke that he would do it and urged her to deal with her daughter. "I deserve my chance at happiness," Bridget blasted. "Don't you dare try to take that away from me again." Nick eavesdropped as Bridget asked Brooke which man she wanted to be with. Nick piped in and said he would like to know the answer to that
question. When Brooke couldn't give a direct answer, Bridget kissed Nick and said, "I'll be waiting for you upstairs." After she left the room, Brooke begged Nick not to go through with "it." He announced he was going upstairs
and dramatically did so as Brooke tearfully looked on.
Donna breezed into Eric's office and pretended to be okay with Stephanie coming back to Forrester Creations. Eric asked Pam if she could fill in for the new receptionist, Margie while she was out getting coffee. Pam excitedly manned the phones and when Margie returned, Ms. Douglas fired her. She then lied to Eric that she had to let Margie go because she had been drinking. Pam then asked if she take the job and he agreed. Donna came by and was
shocked to find that Pam was the new receptionist. Donna reminded Eric that "Stephanie's twisted sister" had threatened her. Pam apologized to Donna and Eric suggested the women go out for coffee so they could get to know each
other.
Friday
Nick apologized to Bridget that she had overhead his conversation with Brooke. "I'm not going to defend your mother," he said. Bridget asked her former lover, "What about you and me?" Nick replied that he didn't want anyone to be hurt. His marriage to Taylor ended. Brooke beat up his heart. "I'm asking you to live in the now," Bridget urged as she put her arms around him. "Just for tonight. I do know what I want. What I need. And that's you," she whispered as she began kissing him passionately. Then little Jack started to cry, which put a damper on that passion. Bridget called Katie and asked if she could come babysit for Jack. Katie said no, she had other plans. Bridget said she should bring her toothbrush...and Katie said she'd be right over. Nick returned and Bridget reported that Katie was coming over to babysit. "So we won't be interrupted. So we can talk," she insisted. Bridget admitted she hadn't gotten over him. "I want you," she said, and they began kissing again. Katie arrived and reminded Nick how wonderful Bridget was. She added that if he reconciled with Bridget, "there was no turning back." Nick thanked Katie for her words and returned to a scantily-clad Bridget in the bedroom. They began to make love.
Pam filled Stephanie in on her new job at Forrester. Eric "hired me on the spot," Pam gushed, as Steph gave her a congratulatory hug. Pam said that Eric had a surprise for Stephanie, but Steph wasn't interested in what that might be. "I know that Eric still loves you," Pam insisted. "Yes, in his own way," Stephanie conceded. Pam urged her to just hang in there. Then Pam had to go meet Donna for coffee, where she reprimanded Donna for being late. A curt Donna suggested Pam return to Chicago. "Your mother needs you." Pam explained she was diagnosed as bipolar and then showed her bottle of pills. "These capsules are amazing," she smiled. Then she shared that if she doesn't take them, "my mind goes to dark places." She threatened to stop taking her "happy pills" if Donna didn't stay away from Eric. Donna headed to her car, sort of tripped and then a strange man pulled a gun on her.
Eric met with Stephanie, who admitted she had pushed him away. She listed her failures over the past year. Eric invited her to come back and work at Forrester. "Maybe everything we shared over the years wouldn't be lost," she mused. The two hugged on it. "Just remember, there are some things we've shared together that no one ever can duplicate. Not Donna, not anyone," Stephanie declared. Eric brought Steph in to consult on some new dress designs. He complimented her immediately. Stephanie wondered if Donna wasn't in the picture, would they still be together? Eric reminded his ex that Donna and he will be married.
