Ridge was surprised to see that Taylor stayed in Paris. She explained that she was tired and didn't feel like returning to the U.S. He was glad to have her there. She encouraged him to talk about the Brooke and Thomas situation and he called Taylor his "touchstone to reality." Ridge then shared that Brooke and Stephanie were on their way to Paris. After, Taylor called Whip and informed him of her whereabouts. Whip was not pleased to hear that she was with Ridge. Ridge didn't care that Whip was upset. Taylor said that whatever he decides to do regarding Brooke, she supports him. Still, she didn't understand why he keeps forgiving Brooke.
On the plane to Paris, Brooke tried to make amends with Stephanie, but Steph refused to be friends. She reminded Brooke that Brooke had kept an important secret from Ridge. "I regret that I ever trusted you," Stephanie declared. Brooke again stated that she never intended to send signals to Thomas. Steph didn't want to hear it. Brooke told Stephanie that she loves her and wished that they could stop fighting. She explained that she'd kept the kiss quiet because she didn't want to make a big thing out of nothing. Stephanie bashed her style of parenting, but Brooke stressed that she didn't want Ridge and Thomas to go to battle. Stephanie said that they could be friends again when Brooke finally divorces Ridge. Yikes.
At Forrester Creations, the models flirted with Thomas. Steffy interrupted and joked that her brother is a stud. After, he showed her some sketches from his women's line and argued that he hadn't tried to seduce Brooke. Steffy believed that he was sexually attracted to his stepmother. Thomas was sick of his dad taking such a hard line with him, but Steffy understood why their father was so upset. She lamented that their parents had ever split up. Thomas disagreed and believed that Ridge and Brooke are perfect for each other. Steffy urged him to create a new line without Brooke. Thomas refused, noting that he'd made his mark with Taboo. Steffy encouraged her brother to do everything he can to make things right with their father. "If he pulls this line, things can be over between him and me," Thomas replied.
Later, Stephanie and Brooke arrived at Ridge's hotel room. Brooke was shocked to see Taylor. Steph got right down to business and asked Ridge if he'd thought at all about his "decision" about Brooke. He asked to speak alone with Brooke; Stephanie and Taylor were sure that he was going to ask Brooke for a divorce. Brooke apologized to Ridge for siding with Thomas, but explained that she didn't want him to lose his relationship with his son.

In Paris, Brooke and Ridge had a talk about their marriage. He wasn't sure that she could fully understand why he was so upset about the Thomas kiss. Brooke feared that Ridge was going to end things between them.... In the next room, Taylor and Stephanie hoped that he'd finally leave Brooke.... Brooke's eyes filled with tears as she waited for Ridge to give her a decision about their marriage.
Back in Los Angeles, Steffy warned Thomas not to do things against Ridge's wishes, but Thomas was determined to go ahead with the Taboo line. Thomas called Taylor and she filled him on what was going on in Paris. He demanded that she and Stephanie stop their campaign against Brooke. Thomas was ready to join them in France, but Taylor told him to stay put and trust his father.
Taylor confided in Stephanie that she was worried about Ridge and Thomas's relationship being destroyed, but Steph was sure that they'd work things out. The ladies eagerly waited to hear Brooke crying so they'd know the marriage was over.... Thomas defended Brooke to Steffy. Steffy was certain that there was something going on between him and Brooke. Thomas denied that he had feelings for her, but his sister told him to be honest with himself.
Ridge told a relieved Brooke that he was not going to end their marriage. She hugged him and declared her love for her husband. Brooke then noted that Taylor and Stephanie were going to be upset, but Ridge didn't care. Still, he urged her to be careful around Thomas. Later, Ridge surprised Brooke with a romantic dinner and a slow dance. He then gave her an even bigger shock when he took her out to the balcony: there, they could see the Eiffel Tower, which was illuminated with a huge heart made up of lights that said, "Brooke & Ridge." Taylor also spied the lights and freaked out. Brooke later called Thomas and gave him the good news about her marriage and Taboo. Ridge overheard them talking and looked concerned.

Tawny visited a pregnant Amber at the Malibu house and Amber filled her in on her dinner party. Tawny was pleased to hear that Oliver and Hope were growing closer. Amber admitted that Tawny had a good idea in making Liam believe that he's the father of Amber's baby. Soon, Liam stopped by to pick her up for her ultrasound. They went to the hospital and the ultrasound began. Amber and Liam became emotional as a vision of the baby appeared on the screen and they could hear the heartbeat. Liam's eyes filled with tears and he called the baby a "miracle." "You're gonna be a great daddy," Amber whispered and pulled him into an embrace. Carl watched them from the hallway and an evil grin spread across his face.
Bill kept calling Katie and asking her to come home, but she refused. Donna encouraged her sister to go home and deal with her marital problems. Steffy visited Bill at the beach house and invited him to spend the day with her. She reminded him that he hadn't killed Amber and spoke against Katie for being so stubborn. Bill angrily demanded that Steffy stop bad-mouthing his wife. Steffy went on about how he can't be himself with Katie and he threw Steffy out. Later, Bill sadly regarded his and Katie's wedding photo. Just then, Katie returned home. Bill asked if they could get past their problems, but Katie wasn't sure that it was that simple. She still couldn't get past the fact that Bill had tried to kill Amber. Bill argued that Amber had hurt Liam. "Why didn't you talk to me?" Katie wondered. Bill didn't think it would've solved the problem. "I'm the same man you married," he insisted. "You don't have to be afraid of me." Katie hugged him, but still looked wary.
Hope went to Forrester Creations and joined Oliver. He promised not to mention Amber's name as they worked. Hope wished she could stop thinking about Liam and Amber; Oliver suggested that she throw herself into a new project. Later, they looked over her modeling shots and Ollie reminded her that whatever happens with Liam, Hope still has him. They hugged.
Amber went to see the doctor, while Liam steadied himself. He thought about happy times with Hope.... Hope broke down as she thought about Liam.... Carl said hello to Amber in the hospital hallway, but she stated that they can't be seen together. Carl noted that her plan seems to be working with Liam and reminded her that she owes him money for doctoring the paternity results. "Don't mess with me, Amber," he warned. Liam joined them and wondered what they were discussing.

At the hospital, Liam wanted to know what Amber was talking about with Carl, the lab tech. Just then, Liam's phone rang. As Liam took the call, Carl told Amber that he held up his end of the deal by switching the paternity test results and demanded his payment as promised.
After Brooke gave Ridge a passionate kiss, Hope entered. Ridge wanted to know if Hope was okay. She relayed that Amber had her first ultrasound. It finally hit home to her that Liam was having a baby with Amber. Hope stated that she loves Liam but doesn't know if she can tolerate Amber being in their lives.
Katie confronted Bill about walking away from Amber after she fell, as Steffy eavesdropped. Katie told Bill that the man who did that was not the man she married. Bill stood by his actions, saying he believes that Amber tried to kill Liam in the trailer explosion. Katie told Bill that she could never trust him after this. Bill grabbed Katie and hugged her. "I need some time to work this out," Katie cried.
Ridge summoned Thomas to his office and said the CEO has made a decision and this time, his orders will be carried out. He wasn't canceling Taboo, Ridge informed his son, but he would be making some changes. Ridge reminded Thomas that Taboo did not put Forrester on the map; women's couture did. Ridge then said he was cutting Thomas's budget. Brooke tried to take out the sting. "I hit a homerun, Brooke, and they're making me stop at second base," Thomas huffed as he walked out.
Amber shared her Carl dilemma with Tawny. Her mother advised Amber to pay up, and soon. That night, Liam acknowledged to Amber that he'd be a good father to the baby. Amber was happy to hear him say that, and she assured Liam that Bill would come around. Amber gave Liam a tender kiss, just as Hope walked in and witnessed it. "Liam?" she exclaimed.
Steffy followed Katie and discovered that she was staying on Nick's boat. She quickly informed Bill of Katie's whereabouts. Needless to say, Bill was not pleased.

At the Malibu house, Hope was distraught to come upon Liam and Amber kissing. Liam pulled back, horrified to see her there. He begged Hope to talk to him, but she didn't think there was anything to discuss. Still, she went outside with him while a pregnant Amber smiled to herself. Tawny arrived and Amber filled her in on her smooch. They were alarmed when Carl stopped by and demanded that they give him the money they owe him. Tawny told him that they didn't have the cash, but he was happy to take Tawny's champagne and chocolates.... Outside, Liam insisted to Hope that he only wants her. Hope asked how he could kiss Amber. He replied that Amber had kissed him. "You and I belong together," he stated and kissed Hope to prove it. Hope wasn't convinced. Liam was determined to be a good father and a good boyfriend to Hope. Hope asked to see the picture from the ultrasound. He reluctantly showed it to her and she told him that he was going to be a great dad. However, Hope didn't think that their relationship was going to work. "I will always love you," she said, kissing him once more before she left. Liam was devastated. He returned inside and Tawny whispered to Amber to make her move. Tawny made herself scarce and Amber tried to "comfort" him by suggesting that he open himself up to possibilities. She then slinked up to him and asked how long it's been since he's been with a woman. Liam didn't answer. Amber went on about how she knows what to do to make him feel good.
Steffy followed Katie to Nick's boat and called Bill to inform him of his wife's whereabouts. Steffy watched through the window as Nick and Katie embraced. On the Shady Marlin, Katie thanked Nick for giving her a place to stay and for not pressuring her to talk about Bill. Nick was happy to help her out. Katie asked how things were going between him and Aggie and he revealed that they broke up because Aggie wanted a deeper commitment. He added that she was now on the East coast looking for work. Katie felt badly for bringing it up, but he didn't mind. He explained that if he gets married again, he wants it to be with the right woman. Later, Nick noted that he could hardly see the scar from her heart surgery. She shared that she's thought about it less and less over time. "All scars heal," Nick reasoned and pressed his hand to her chest for emphasis. He assured her that time would heal her problems with Bill... Bill joined Steffy outside the boat and watched his wife through the window. He then barged in and growled, "Get your hands off my wife!" Katie tried to hold Bill back, but he turned around and punched Nick in the face. "Katie, come home with me," Bill pleaded. "I don't know you," she cried. He pulled her into a kiss and she responded. Steffy watched, upset.
Hope went to Forrester Creations and overheard Oliver wishing Aggie luck on the phone. He hung up and Hope broke down in his arms. He guessed that it had to do with Liam and she shared that she'd caught him kissing Amber. Ollie offered to be there for her.... Liam turned down Amber's advances, reminding her that he loves Hope. Amber wasn't fazed and pressed his hand against her pregnant belly. She advised him to stop thinking about Hope and have some fun. "Let me love you," she whispered against his ear and began to undress him. Liam gave in and let her kiss him, though he looked numb while she was doing it.
