Bold and Beautiful Recaps

Monday
Taylor and Rick kissed under an umbrella in the dark and then Taylor pulled away, leaving Rick to angst wetly in the rain. Soaked Rick then came in to Phoebe, who thanked him for "supporting" Taylor. (Is that what they're calling it these days?) It only got more awkward as Phoebe made romantic overtures — and orange chicken. Her mama, meanwhile, headed straight for
the bar to grapple with her Rick issues. She ordered sparkling water but found herself faced with free champagne (of course!). Luckily, Rick called her while Feebs was in the kitchen. Taylor tried to convince him not to tell Phoebe about their "thing," determined not to be like Brooke. Phoebe presented Rick with a token from the BoldFace Challenge and then kissed him. Later, Phoebe went to work, and Taylor came home. Guess who she found in her bedroom? "Make love to me," Rick said, totally sounding like the girl in the relationship as he declared his love.
Nick used Katie as an example of him being over the Brooke and Bridget
merry-go-round. He listed off Katie's virtues and said he didn't want to
make the same wrong decisions. "and maybe I should start with you?" Katie
wasn't exactly pleased with Nick's approach, pleading with him to not hurt Bridget. "You take being her aunt very seriously," Nick mused. Cue their
typical snarky banter, which Bridget walked in on. Luckily, Jack fussing
kept the moment from getting too weird.
Ridge caught up with Ashley, who raved about the Restless Style party in
Genoa City. Ridge raved about his feelings for Ashley and his confusion
over Brooke. "I don't think it's so good for me to be your sounding board
anymore," Ash warned him, before laying the Brooke drama out for him. Ridge was sure it'd be different this time. Brooke eavesdropped as Ash declared, "Brooke needs therapy!" and added how sick Brooke's cycle was. Ridge conceded Ash was probably right. Brooke then confronted Ridge about confiding in Ashley. "There's very little hope for the life we want to
have," he told her, citing her Nick fixation. Brooke claimed it was a
Jack fixation because he's her baby and accused Ridge of being all
too into Ashley and her opinion.
Tuesday
Shirtless, pant-less, amorous Rick put the moves on Taylor, who put up little resistance until he started mentioning Phoebe being out of the house. Taylor snapped out of it and pulled away, wherein he reiterated, "I love you!"
Taylor really didn't need the extra drama. As they went back and forth, Phoebe's voice floated up the stairs. Rick quickly ran and hid in the closet
(LOL!) as Feebs arrived in Mom's boudoir to gush about their dinner date and how much she's grown. After Phoebe floated off to bed, Rick emerged and Taylor told him, in no uncertain terms, that they had to end this so Phoebe wouldn't get hurt. "It's over," she said as he stroked her hair and went in for a kiss. "Like hell it is!" They sank back on the sheets, passionately.
At Forrester, Brooke wondered if Ridge was reconsidering their engagement.
Ridge sidestepped the answer by citing her "divided feelings," which Brooke translated to, "Sorry, Brooke, I have the hots for Ashley." They went a couple of rounds and Brooke claimed, "I still believe that you are my destiny." Ridge loved her, too, but wanted to be sure. They smooched passionately. Later, Brooke returned from blasting Ashley all giddy. As Ridge brought up the potential success of their BeLieF perfume, they reminisced on their infamous BeLieF fabric discovery lab sex...and then moved to recreate it right there on Ridge's floor. Unlucky for Brooke, a meeting with Ashley and Henry in the conference took precedence. So guess who got to enjoy Brooke in her sexy red lingerie? Her brother, Storm! Brooke fumed that she needed Ashley out of her life...and, hey, she could use Storm's help....
When Phoebe arrived at Forrester for her shoot, she realized it was off, so she popped in to visit her dad and her uncle Thorne. (Hi, Thorne! He even had a line of dialogue!) The guys watched Phoebe text message a "him." Meanwhile, down in Ash's lab, Brooke confronted Ashley about her advising Ridge. Ashley looked like she was about to crack up. Back in Ridge's office, Thorne and Ridge discussed their perfume launch and the ad deal with Restless Style...and the awesomeness of Ashley. Brooke kept swiping at a boggled Ashley, warning her away from Ridge.
Wednesday
As she waited for Storm, Brooke flashed back on Ridge backing off from their marriage plans over her Nick love. Then, she flashed back on Nick saying he loved her enough to let her go. When Storm finally arrived, he boggled at Brooke's suggestion that he date Ashley. And what about the "huge skeleton" in his closet? Brooke assured him Ash wouldn't find out he shot Stephanie, so Storm headed down to Ash's lab to ask her to a lunch meeting. Meanwhile, Ridge kvetched to Stephanie about Storm still working for Forrester's legal department, who completely understood. Ridge suggested they get Storm out of the building for good. Storm's lunch with Ashley seemed to be going very well, despite constant uncomfortable references. Brooke told Ridge that her brother was out on a date with a Forrester employee, which set off his alarm bells. He told Brooke psycho Storm was forbidden to date anyone who worked there "because I have a responsibility to protect our employees." Brooke was shocked. Everybody else? Not so much. Especially since Storm ominously told Ashley, "I won't take no for an answer" when it came to second dates.
Pam rambled on about her hilarious successes against Donna to Tiny, shaking a bottle of pills as she prepared to put a "downer" on Donna's plans for romance. Donna donned sexy cat ears and called Eric to a "preview of our honeymoon escapades." Eric popped a pill and headed out for his hot lunch, as Pam beamed. When Donna called the office again, she and Pam traded barbs.
Then, Eric arrived for their romp and Stephanie caught Pam messing with Eric's pill bottle. Pam wasted no time telling Steph how she'd taken the wind out of Donna's sex appeal by swapping his Viagra for a sleeping pill. At their love shack, Eric waved poetic and Donna asked Honey Bear to wait for a surprise. She emerged in leopard print underwear and her cat ears, doing a truly traumatic jungle cat playact. Of course, when the cat pounced, Eric was fast asleep! Donna was crushed that her jungle seduction bombed, and that Honey Bear was down for the count.
Thursday
At Forrester, Ridge reiterated to Brooke that Storm is off his rocker and he couldn't "just absolve him" of Stephanie's shooting. "I know you love him, but I'm telling you right now: There's a Storm brewing and I don't want anyone I know to get caught up in it." (Yes, he really said that. LOL.) Ashley and Storm returned to the lab after lunch and, yeah, it was still a little creepy. Brooke tried to defend "Stormy," but Ridge wasn't having it. Ashley nudged Stormy out of her lab, praising his legal skills. Storm then thanked Brooke for suggesting he date her, fairly raving about Ash. Uh-oh.
Brooke wishy-washily asked him to back off. "Spill the beans!" he demanded.
"It's Ridge," she sighed, warning him Ridge could never learn he went out with Ash. "If he thinks I'm dangerous, maybe I should prove him right?" mused Stormy, determined to go confront Ridge. In Ash's lab, Ridge looked distracted and she recognized it as his Brooke face. He showed considerable restraint and didn't unload on her. He promptly ran into Storm in the hall...and fired him! "You're a sick, petulant coward," he sneered. "I don't ever want to lay eyes on you again, Storm. Not ever."
Stephanie told Pam she loved her but sometimes "you just have accept that it's the best thing to walk to way." Pam couldn't believe Stephanie was moving on, but then offered her sis the key to Honey Bear's (Eric's)love nest so she could "talk some sense to that understimulated libido of his." At the nest, Donna kept trying to rouse and arouse Eric, to no avail. Bummed, she donned a trenchcoat and returned to Forrester, where Pam crowed at her. Tearful Donna then wondered to Katie if she was good enough for Eric, if Eric had lost interest, etc. Katie assured her Honey Bear is crazy about her. Of course, Pam popped in to undermine that. "You feel him slipping away, don't you, Donna?" she sighed. "You are never going to be the next Mrs. Eric Forrester." Meanwhile, Eric awoke to Stephanie asking him if this is really what he wants. "When the fun and games are over, where's it going to leave you?" she gently asked her groggy ex. "In my heart, I still believe that I can make you happy," she told him, asking him to tell her they could still save their marriage. As Pam kept needling, Donna warned her that if she'd caused this snafu, "Forrester Creations is going to say adios to its in-house crazy old crone." She followed that up by hoping a house would fall on the Wicked Witch of the West. Naturally, Pam countered with, "I will get you my pretty, and your little dog, too." "She's a little loony," observed Katie. Donna was determined to fight back! Wary Eric wasn't sure where Stephanie was going, but she praised him as her "one constant," and said she believed there was still a chance for them.
Friday
Rick dropped by to see Taylor, knowing that Phoebe would be staying at the dorm...and there was something that he wanted to do that couldn't wait. Cue a pep talk about Taylor taking baby Jack for the night and if Nick didn't allow it, "he's just going to have to answer to me." Taylor then called Nick to see if she could have Jack for an overnight visit, and met with success. She thanked Rick, even though all he had done was stand there. Rick wanted to come along to pick up Jack, and Taylor made him promise to turn off the calf eyes. (LOL.) Luckily, he promised to wait in the car.
Ridge told Storm to get the hell out, saying "you're fired!" again like he was Donald Trump and Ashley interrupted, confused. When Ridge realized Storm had lunch with Ashley, he told Storm to stay "the hell" away from her. Storm told Ridge his love life was none of Ridge's business. Oh, but it is, because Storm shot his mama! Storm said this was about Ridge's Logan hate and Ridge said no, it was because Storm is nuts. He suggested Storm go stay with his parents in Europe, which Storm countered by shoving Ridge in the chest.
Ridge punched him in the jaw and pinned him to the floor before firing him again and kicking him out of building. (Whoo! Go, Ridge!) When Ashley returned, Storm pretended he didn't just have his butt handed to him and asked Ash out for dinner tomorrow.
At the hospital, bespectacled Bridget mooned over a picture of herself and Nick and then called Nick to see if he wanted help with Jack. When the doorbell rang, Nick had to go, and Bridget looked a little chagrined. Then, she mooned some more, complete with musical montage. Brooke dropped by to see Nick and blast him for seeing Bridget again. Nick told her he wasn't going to be a puppet on a string and basically told her to butt out. Brooke then wanted to see Jack and Nick told her Taylor was taking the baby for the night. Brooke claimed Taylor isn't stable "because she's involved with Rick." Nick looked bemused by Brooke's argument but when Taylor arrived, he said Taylor had to visit with Jack right there because of "your situation with Rick." "Haven't I been punished enough?" she asked Nick, before trading barbs with Brooke and pointing out that Nick couldn't judge her, since he'd been dating Brooke's daughter. Brooke refused to let Taylor take Jack and Taylor turned to Nick, begging him to let her.
